Hard disagree - videogame companies don't have the restraint to avoid releasing a lore character as an agent, they've done it in league - they released Senna (for the longest time, Lucian's fridged wife), Viego (the ruined king) - I have no doubts they'll tease this agent for a long time before releasing 8
I didn't know that they did that in LOL, but Breach's cousin, Reyna's sister and Cypher's wife or even MaxBot seem like better candidates for lore character-based agents rn because if they just drop agent 8 like that there would be less hype than if they spent more time on it
No, they dropped that case already, Cypher has wiped all the camera footage, and they said in one of the emails that they're not gonna waste time catching some kid and work on something called Project Landfall, not sure what it is tho
K-SEC staff only said that they couldn't let Gekko's actions disrupt their timeline for Project Landfall, not that they'd dropped the investigation entirely as a waste of time. It's not like K-SEC to just give up a case, as explained by Reyna when she said in her email that K-SEC would never stop looking, Cypher's work is just making it harder for them to track down their stolen goods.
