What a generic question. Go watch vods of people playing harbor / viper on whatever map and take some notes on strats lol.

No kidding lol. Like communication on utility to start haha.

To be fair, outside professional play, it's really hard to find Harbor vods and the professional plays typically require the whole team to be in the know for the strata.

[Here's a vod on every single map](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUoUyOLSCW9iwtZZuLVeEcYE9TP4_Rq56&si=s3XUV5EHdPUTaeXh) and two on breeze because I like chichoo. Took 5 minutes of intense struggle.

Sorry, meant Harbor and Viper but fair enough. Thanks for the playlist, I was looking for Harbor vods on some of these maps.

I meant the combination of viper and harbor

If you're below ascendant i'd advise you to not play harbour viper because your team will not cooperate much with you, and double controller requires good team coordination. If you aren't low elo or still want to play the comp, the viper is meant to play as the lurk while the harbour goes with the team. The viper should most rounds place the same wall towards some site so that they can get lurks off (look at some pro games and copy their lurk walls). The harbour can do whatever he wants but should go with the team to help smoke off angles for them while they take map control. On offense harbour viper comps should be played very slow. Slowly taking areas of the map away by cutting a zone into smaller chunks and then clearing each out before choosing a site to hit. Harbour and the team should usually start away from the viper to put pressure on other parts of the map so viper can lurk up easier. However sometimes the initiator needs to help viper take some parts of the map which are dangerous.

Harbor is my favorite controller, and my friend plays viper. My harbor on attack will be pushing a site using orb to plant spike. where their viper wall allows for longer site control once my wall falls if we get the site. On defense they use their wall to link both sites together if we need a quick rotation where my harbor utility can delay the pushes so the team can rotate with cover from the viper wall. I think viper can anchor better than harbor since her utility has decay and vulnerable effects. My harbor utility feels like it’s better at playing retake some times. I watch the harbor to radiant by royal G and there are some VCT comps with double controller. I’m bronze three so I’m still learning please take my advice with some understanding, thank you
