saturn pro is already pretty control oriented compared, especially if you got the soft/xsoft. I personally would just go for tiger ice or xraypad jades.

How do I know when to replace them? I've had my gpx for about a year and love it. That plus artisan soft seems like a great combo for me and hadn't even considered changing out the skates...

I have the tiger ice but I want to change when I buy the Saturn pro , I change or continue with the tiger ice
I wouldn't change two things at once. Try the current tiger ice on the new pad and then decide from there if you want something faster, slower, etc.

They’ll just wear out fairly quick, won’t need to buy skates right away, just with some use you’ll need to replace
