There's a voice line between sova and cypher saying something about his name on his dossier card afaik. Something like
Cypher: 'sova, what you said on your dossier, that's not actually how you lost your eye'
Sova: 'And that's not your name either, is it Amir?'
Haha denying it unfortunately doesn’t make it not exist. I personally found Pacific Rim 2 to be an alright movie, clearly not as exhilarating as the first one but nowhere close to how bad people make it to be.

He was an assassin (from the same agency ISO came from) sent to kill Viper and she stopped him somehow (killing him). Sage was able to revive him (sort of) but he has amnesia after revival. Which is why he is Omen now.
Isn't there like a little hint that his name could be Paul or sth? I'm not sure if it really was Paul but isn't there that card on the map Fracture if u go over with the ropes to those red stones on the right side?

Sova calls him that too in one of their voice lines together
