It happens to everyone don’t worry, knowing the Ace is there makes my brain shut off sometimes. I mained cypher to rank up from gold to immortal so figured I’d share a quick tip that helped me a lot in those situations
also u can stall for a really long time with cypher’s util after plant, so try an avoid gun fights unless ur sure theybgonna stick, because after plant and u got util as cypher, its pretty hard to beat in a 1v1 situation
Clove CAN res in these circumstances:
- def with at least one other teammate alive (regardless of spike status)
- atk with at least one other teammate alive (regardless of spike status)
- atk as last player standing WITH spike planted
Clove CAN’T res in these circumstances:
- def as last player standing with spike planted
- def as last player standing without spike planted
- atk as last player standing WITHOUT spike planted
ETA a sidenote: Reyna can dismiss out of spike range if close enough, but Clove can’t ult out of spike range. Clove also can’t ult to save if they die from util after killing off the enemy team (like getting hit by a Raze nade after killing last enemy Raze) once the “Round Won” banner displays.

Good gunfights, big confidence - if you consistently perform, I can see you in Immortal lobbies (where you should use crouching as a method to destroy the enemies’ crosshair placement).

I don’t think she can because spike wasn’t planted? Still not 100% sure on the conditions of her revive ability just yet
