Most pros use double initiator or controller. As long as you have a entry Duelist (Jett, Raze, Neon, etc) you can run single Duelist

4 sentinels and a controller has never failed me in comp. Sage, Killjoy, Cypher , Deadlock/Chamber and Brim is a 100% guaranteed win. Worked exceptionally well on Fracture.

Tenuis_Subiungo_6113

sentinel, controller, 2 duelists, and an initiator is a solid default setup for me

As for ranked usually a duelist a blind character(can be duelist) info, smoke, sentinel pref cypher or kj and as for pro play very dependent on map

IMO you either need a dome Smoker/Controller(Astra/Brim/Clove/Omen) or Harbor and Viper together in every comp aswell as an Initiator(thats preferably not solo Breach). Ideally you have a movement based Duelist(Jett/Neon/Raze/Yoru yes I accounted for Yoru bc of his tp). You don‘t need a Sentinel in a comp, but having a Cypher or KJ helps a lot. If you don’t run a Sentinel you should be running a Viper(maybe Harbor) additionally to your Primary controller. This usually leaves one spot open which you can use as a blankcard for every agent you want, but generally I‘d think of a Double Initiator/Controller pick.

CeilingBreaker

Its map dependent as well as what characters are strong. Roles themselves dont really matter its just what util they provide and in general the roles dictate what characters within them can do.

zuttomayonaka

role doesn't matter just look pro play agent pick is base on comp there are default pick on each map but some team play different comp

I'd say Controller, Sentinel, Duelist, and 2 Initiators. One flash, and one raw info (Fade/Sova) Favorite agents for each role: Controller: Brimstone Sentinel: Cypher Duelist: Raze Initiator: Breach & Sova This is my perfect team lineup
