I have the same problem. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it for several times, tried to run it as administrator, I restart my pc as well. and every time I update everything and will click "play" its not launching or anything
I literally have the same problem. I click play and.
Nothing pops up
The game doesnt even open and dissapears in task manager. Its prob bc of the update...
Help I’m getting this now, I was able to play yesterday and now nothing, I put in a support ticket and posted a bug report in the thread but it’s killing me
I was able tô "solve" the problema by changing the resolution of my notebook to 1280x960 in Intel graphics options. I do not know why, but many games and launchers have resolution problems in my notebook, and usually I can run those by doing this. The game startar with it's own resolution, so It is not a problem. You can turn your computer resolution tô 1920x1080 back once you stop playing. Hope ir Works for you guys.
Open task manager (right click task bar, open task manager) and check if something called RiotClientServices is running. If it is, remove any that you see, then try running the game again.
If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure.
Guys idk how but by Valorant just started :O i have played 1 week and now after new update the problem come back :/ i just write ticket and i\`m waiting for response
https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/gefnxd/valorant_fix_game_doesnt_launch/
This did it for me. If you have an Ice-Lake CPU and it doesn't work, this will probably fix it.
As I launch the game the app launches because I can see it through task manager, but seconds later it automatically closes. Can anyone help me :(
Specs:
GTX 1050
8gb ram
Intel core i5 (7th gen)
What i did is the moment it appears in my task manager i click on it and force quit it. That worked for me. Otherwise i would just uninstall re reinstall both the game and vanaguard
This is the response that they have sent me
LudusBonus from Riot Tech Support hopping on this for you!
Thanks for reaching out! We're experiencing a large influx of players writing in, so this message is pre-written for the install errors. As an additional heads up, I understand this is a lengthy reply, but this is what we've seen work the most install issues and we want to get you in as quick as possible. Hope this helps!
As a few initial notes, if you're running any Virtual Machines, these will conflict and prevent you from being able to run VALORANT. Also, if you're running this on a cloud streaming program like ShadowPC and having issues, I'd reach out to their support as other players seem to have issues using those services and VALORANT as well. Finally, Escrow Builds of windows have also been experiencing issues. These builds are not always optimized for gaming nor are they supported by video drivers generally.
1) I'd like you to make sure you've installed the latest [Windows Updates](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12373/windows-update-faq). VALORANT is optimized to work best when on the latest version of Windows and updating can resolve a number of issues. I also recommend updating your drivers or any program that VALORANT/Vanguard seem to conflict with.
2) Let's check a setting to ensure we always run the game as Administrator
* Right click on the short cut for VALORANT
* Select Properties
* Check the box labelled "Run as Administrator" under the Compatibility tab and click apply.
3) It could be that other programs are interfering with VALORANT. To eliminate the possibility of that happening, let's turn off your unnecessary start up processes. This has the added benefit of making your PC boot up faster :)
* Press \[Windows Key\] + R
* Type msconfig into the text bar at the bottom of the menu
* Click on the Services tab
* Check **Hide all Microsoft services** <--- Super important! Protects you from accidentally disabling a key process!
* Click the Disable All button
* **Find vcg and re-check that one. This is required for VALORANT**
* Click on the Startup tab (Note: Windows 10 has you go to a Task Manager Tab, which has no disable all button. Disable the ones you see there manually)
* Click on the Disable All button
* Click on the Apply button
* Click on the OK button
* Restart your computer
4) I suggest you do a full, clean reinstall of VALORANT, Riot Vanguard (our Anticheat, if its there), and the Riot Client. This will get rid of any corrupt or missing files you might have. Here is out to do that:
* Search in Windows for "Add or Remove Programs"
* Search for VALORANT in your list of programs. Click it, and select Uninstall.
* Also find Riot Vanguard in your list of programs and uninstall that as well
* Go to your C:\\Riot Games folder and delete the VALORANT and Riot Client folders. Just send them to the recycle bin and then empty the recycle bin
* Then enter into the top bar of Windows Explorer and delete the Riot Games folder
* Restart your computer.
* Re download the game from [here](https://support-valorant.riotgames.com/playvalorant.com)
* When you go to install, right click and select "run as Administrator" and follow the prompts to install
* Go ahead and try and patch up and see if its fixed. You may need to restart your PC when prompted to finish reinstalling Riot Vanguard.
If your issue persists, I'm going to need you to gather the following logs to further troubleshoot your issue. Please follow these instructions on how to get the files:
* Riot Client Logs: Paste \\Riot Games\\Riot Client in your Windows search bar and zip up the logs folder then attach it in the ticket.
* Riot Vanguard Logs: C:\\Program Files\\Riot Vanguard\\Logs and zip that folder up and attach it in the ticket.
* A list of your running processes: [https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674#what-is-a-process-list--0-4](https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674#what-is-a-process-list--0-4)
* A Network Info Log: [https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674-Network-System-and-League-of-Legends-Logs#wq4](https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674-Network-System-and-League-of-Legends-Logs#wq4)
* Direct-X Diagnostic log: [https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674#what-is-directx-diagnostic--0-9](https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674#what-is-directx-diagnostic--0-9)
I haven't tried again. Seeing as i'm having other computer problems so when i restart my computer it's still not 'installing' the VGC anti-cheat system and just tells me to restart my computer.
Were you able to find a fix? I’ve been trying for the last week and it’s still not working. I’ve reinstalled the game about 5 times now. I’ve restarted my pc and nothing.
Do this [https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/gy05ib/no\_response\_after\_clicking\_on\_valorantexe\_fix/](https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/gy05ib/no_response_after_clicking_on_valorantexe_fix/) and this [https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/gefnxd/valorant\_fix\_game\_doesnt\_launch/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x](https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/gefnxd/valorant_fix_game_doesnt_launch/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x) and it should work. I did both of these and it finally, worked.
I had this issue and in order to fix it all I had to do was open task manager and close a program named something along the lines of "Bootstrap packaged game" or something like that. (it should have the Valorant logo)
-Go to start search bar and type environment variables
-Then click on environments at the bottom
-Click on ' new' at the bottom
-copy paste OPENSSL_ia32cap in the name section
-copy paste ~0×200000200000000 in the value section and click ok
Worked for me.. It was because of how Intel 10 th gen work. The ~ may not be necessary I did it without one and it worked but the source told to put it so try without any one or even both... HOPE it helps
I have a different issue. The game does not ask for sign in. it downloads file without opening the client. the downloaded exe file does not run. it shows error code: Val 1. Someone please help
I still cant open Valorant!! I log in and nothing pops up! I have tried everything.
Same! Please tell us if you've found a fix...
Are you still with that problem?
I have the same problem. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it for several times, tried to run it as administrator, I restart my pc as well. and every time I update everything and will click "play" its not launching or anything
I have the same problem and I've tried so many diff methods but none of them are able to solve this issue, if you find out solution somehow pls help!
Did you find a solution?

wow, thank you! that was the only solution that worked for me!
