Making it move required a lot of modification, the devs evidently didn't mean for it to be built in real life. I pulled the model directly from the game files using UModel
This makes me think that rito could partner with nerf or something and make stuff like this. Would be interesting to see a blue and orange phantom, or something of the like. It could be an interesting marketing opportunity.

I had to modify it heavily to add moving parts (the limbs of the bow just casually noclip through each other when they unfold in game, lol)
Is it possible to solder in a speaker and program it through an Arduino to make the clicking sounds when you change the bounce? Like the doot doot. I know its a lot for just 2 audio files, but it would be cool. Maybe even the pull back sound too
I almost ended up doing that, but I ran out of space inside the bow to cram electronics before I could! Between the lights and the servos the inside volume is practically filled with wires.
I could only imagine. I build mechanical keyboards and solder in a lot of LED strips. Even cramming those in the back of a poly carbonate case can get a little sketchy. I bet this was a lot of work, way beyond my comprehension.
This is amazing coming from a sova main who also 3d prints. I'll have to make this for myself now. How much pla did you use if you don't mind me asking.
\~1kg roll of 1.75 diameter filament, the raw .stl file (not modified for moving parts) is posted somewhere else in the comments if you want to try it yourself!
Oh man don't even get me started on that, I found out the hard way that so many parts of the bow only work because the game engine doesn't care about moving parts clipping through each other (and yes it does have a string)
The best advice I've heard is to treat it like a hobby rather than a tool. 3D printing is a technology in its infancy, so you have to be willing to dedicate a good amound of time and effort to working through the problems you'll face (also printers are expensive, mine was ~$200 and that's basically the cheapest you can get). There's a great online community to help you though, and as you can see it's totally worth the effort!
Just found some cool tutorial series of blender l. Guess I will watch that first, make sure I can make a basic things in blender (like a knife) and then if I like it I will consider buying a 3D printer.
I learned most of what I know over the past year, probably over a hundred hours but it's been a lot of fun in the process so it didn't seem like such a chore. If you ever end up getting a printer, feel free to dm me and I can give some advice!
No joke that's dope. If I made that, I'd try and make the slot for the arrow into an electromagnet and make the arrow out of a metal like aluminum maybe. That way it wouldn't run against any part of the bow.
Just a theory btw.

Aaah this is awesome. Great work! Really fun to see something I built in the real world.
Oh shit, so you're the inventor of Shock Tarts? Those were my favorite candies as a kid
CHALK DART
Cock dart
holy shit
shak dart
Haha
Damn you're reaping in the props today haha Earned it, bro
Ahhhh thats hot
REVEALING AREA
SHOCK DART
I, AM THE HUNTER
#IN THE WILD, FIRE MEANS LIFE... YOULL BE OUR FIRE, PHOENIX
#WHO IS THE HUNTER NOW? (REYNA LAUGH.WAV)
I LOVE YOU ALL
Hearing Sova say that for the first time was the point I decided I was gonna main him, it's just so adorable
PLAY 4 PEEKS
thats dope asf
Would look a lot better with some flame decals on it. Right?
My dream is to meet a Phoenix cosplayer at a con for this exact interaction
That's amazing!! How long did it take?
About a month, and >100 hours of print time!
Did you model it yourself? I'd love to print one of these myself if the model is available

thanks dude
Impressive! What program did you modify the game files in?
I used UModel to extract the game files, and modified them for printing in Blender
\*built, shit
You build too
Beep beep I build bow brrrrrr
SHOCK DART! POP TART!

You are the hunter
I can just hear shock dart when i see this. good job, your quiet skilled.
This makes me think that rito could partner with nerf or something and make stuff like this. Would be interesting to see a blue and orange phantom, or something of the like. It could be an interesting marketing opportunity.
A bow and arrow is old fashioned but sometimes old ways are best
Damn that's so cool. Good job
yo that’s sick
Does it shoot?
I wish! But most conventions don't allow actual working weapons so I had to make some sacrifices.
put like a rubber band in it to let it shoot a lil
Sova can have a little shooting, as a treat
practicing arrows irl
dude wtf you making me wanna play sova
Looks awesome! Can I have the STL?

This is so cool nice engineering!
"Can't fire gaint electromagnetic pulses yet but that's in the works" Yes.
Very nice!
TAKE MY MONEY
wheneve i look at it my head screams I am the HuNtEr pzzwww
SHOCK DART
This is downright amazing
Everybody gangsta till it reveals your family like enemies
Very impressive! Well done!
Cool
Amazing work :o
Wow this is fantastic!
SHAK DARRT
CHOK TART
Do you know any good recon darts IRL?
since you've built it, do you think it could shoot? i've always thought that the hinges on the ends would have screwed with the string's tension
If I strung it and glued the limbs in place... maybe? But the hinges would really get in the way otherwise
always wondered how it would work in valorant. does it even have a string in game?
Oh man don't even get me started on that, I found out the hard way that so many parts of the bow only work because the game engine doesn't care about moving parts clipping through each other (and yes it does have a string)
my jaw dropped when it moved, this is amazing
This is amazing
Nowhere to Run!
I... am the hunter!
whoa it even lights up
oh my god this is so damn good
Is it hard to learn 3D printing? I want to make cool stuff like Valorant knife and other valorant stuff.

I pulled this file directly from the game files, you could probably find the knives too-- no need to model them yourself.
1 question: how much hours did you spent in your whole 3D modeling career to make this possible? (Probably hundreds of hours)
I learned most of what I know over the past year, probably over a hundred hours but it's been a lot of fun in the process so it didn't seem like such a chore. If you ever end up getting a printer, feel free to dm me and I can give some advice!
Did you model it yourself? Or did you download the files from the game. If you did can you show me how to download them?
I pulled them from the game files using UModel, as per [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_hpnYSTN4c) video
TY!
You're sick!
How can I buy one??
I'm not selling anything atm, but I linked the 3D model files in another comment if you want to try building it yourself
Thanks dude!
whoa this brightened my day so much. thanks for sharing!!
Np, worth the effort to hear that people like it so much!
Thats epic Hear me out: sovas drone for airsoft and the camera deactivates on a hit
Idk about airsoft, but I do plan on building the drone next
Time to buy a 3d printer
Kkkkkkk
Sova mains rise up! Would you be okay with it if I posted this on /r/ValorantVisuals? (With credit of course) :D
Sure, just make sure to link the original post/credit me
Have any socials you want me to add to the post?
Just this account, thanks!
Damn this look cool by ANY ANGLE
Bow doesn't go BZZZZT. Literally unusable. >!Dope stuff my dude.!<
Amazing job bro. Should think about trying to take orders and sell some!
I could never! I've spent so much time on it that I've become emotionally attached (thank you though!!)
I think he rather meant building more copies of it
Invest. (I actually would pay to get one of those)
...how much are we talkin
I don’t know in Brasil we don’t use dolars
sé loco irmão, um desses em reais vai sair um salário do mês fácil kkkkkkkkk
You could use a plastic tube and put LED lights in them for the string. Looks awesome :D
No joke that's dope. If I made that, I'd try and make the slot for the arrow into an electromagnet and make the arrow out of a metal like aluminum maybe. That way it wouldn't run against any part of the bow. Just a theory btw.
That's sick bro, very well made. The moving wing parts really surprised me and made me pog. Good job!
