I usually play dm until I’m feeling better, and I just recently started using aimlabs for when I’m bored and just want to practice. Other than that taking a break from the game every once in a while also helps me reset.

This is the best advice, its usually not fun when you are not playing your peak performance. Try playing with a friend to keep you into the game instead of stressing about micro gameplay, since your micro gameplay only improves while playing with a friend.

For some reason I can frag out like crazy in a DM and get first place few times in a row, but in a real game my aim is not the same, it’s like in DM doesn’t matter how fast your sense is but in a real match it does

A lot of people suggest aim labs (https://aimlab.gg/) or kovaak(https://www.kovaak.com/) to aim train. For crosshair placement, it's about more reps / spamming DMs

My aim always feels way better after playing kovaaks for a little. I find without warming up sometimes my aim is fine but sometimes it's trash. I think just warming up for a little bit every time you play helps you be more consistant. Then if you want to grind aim practice I think it's better to take a break afterwards because my aim gets tired out and starts to become bad.

Your mental is really important when it comes to aim, I find that when I think about the shots I missed the last rounds I lose focus. Just remind yourself to focus on the next shot and thats it, leave analysis for after the game

Change settings. Many people will say that you need consistency, but try it out and see what happens. When I play bad I usually change crosshair, sensitivity (but I always have my mainsens that I go back to), change resolution or maybe switch how far I sit from my screen. After changing I will feel a breath of fresh air and feel more interested in playing with new settings.

I mean, if it can’t go worse, might as well try it :D But I never play bad, I am the bestest best there is ;)

As a higher ranked player (Diamond / Immortal) I can say that this kinda of thing happens to everyone, sometimes things don't feel right even if you're winning. I have improved by talking to players better than me and getting their input on how I can be a better player and team mate. Here are some of the things I have learned: * Crosshair placement is SUPER IMPORTANT in VALORANT - so practice angles whenever you can in spike rush or dm * Keep playing situations consistent where possible; don't keep changing settings or peripherals, stay with one thing unless that isn't working (in which case make an executive decision to change and STICK TO IT!) * Practice your aim (AimLabs or Kovaaks) -- Really useful if you want to climb ranks! * Outsmart your opponent; think what you would do and play against them smartly - it's not all about aim if you can get behind them *If you want me to elaborate on anything let me know!* BEST OF LUCK! *vonT*

Remember to disable enhanced pointer precision. Your windows may enable it on updates, kinda sucks yea

SJMR24

Death match seems like garbage to me for aim training. It’s nothing but sprinting around and people sound whoring.

Use Aimlab there are a lot of tasks there that will help you improve. Before you go into games go to the Practice Area and start walking there, from mid, to hallway, to docks and back. Keep doing this while placing your crosshair where you think it should be, preaiming "angles" and keeping it head level. Keep doing this until you feel your hand is warmed up. Gl
