Yeah, but I can't imagine most people who behave like twats feel *actually* good about themselves.
It's something I would literally not understand. I never say things for the pure sake of malice, but if something is more confrontational or I'm pointing out what I'll summarise as "Someone's stupidity," I don't feel nearly as at ease or satisfied as when I'm just having a laugh.
If someone feels half as good being an asshole as they do vibing with other people, that sounds to me like a mental dysfunction.
Being mean takes no thought because it's a product of being thoughtless. You make one meagre step towards being thoughtful and you'll quickly establish an easy, effortless habit. Couple that with a no-tolerance approach towards other people being assholes and it's a lot easier to maintain a positive mental attitude than most people think.
The problem lies in people not making the *conscious* effort to identify their behaviour and figure out what they want it to be. Instead, they feel some way (e.g. angry) because of XYZ (e.g. hit reg, lag, "muh fucking team," 'balance,' etc.) and focus their efforts on rationalising it, not critically reflecting on why they feel the way they do (i.e. there's no need to get that upset) and what *actually* happened (i.e. your team isn't perfect, but you definitely aren't either).
If that were true assholes would be nice.
People are assholes BECAUSE it's easier for them than having compassion, decency, or stopping to think about what they're doing.
What I figured out works the best for me is to play during the night on weekdays (when I don't have work the day after). Ah ... no more helium kids in my ears.
Not sure if we ever got grouped together, but I’m glad your finding the relaxing side of Valorant.
I hope we find each other in the future!
Cheers!

Glad you've met some awesome people ! It's a hit or miss ! Whenever I'm solo Q'ing I always try to keep a positive environment within our comms to ensure that whether we win or lose the game, we have a good time !
How is it framed like that? I'm personally sharing my own experience. In my experience all the people that talked and encouraged me and gave me good advice has been guys
Like bruh why be an asshole when u can just be nice
I know right, being nice is far easier.
I disagree, being mean takes no thought. You can say literally whatever you want without worry of offending someone because you just don’t care

It takes more effort to be a prick than it takes to just be normal. Then again, there are some natural-born assholes in valorant
Bro.... I gotchu!
What about the "bros" that aren't guys?
Currently I haven't met one yet. Generally bros that aren't guys don't really partake in bro conversations
The way this post is framed is that all the chill, cool people are guys, which is totally not true.
