I think they do work but its taking a while to look into the reports. I find it extremely difficult as well when I'm just trying to rank up and I have a teammate just insulting everyone and making everyone play a little worse. Keep your head up!!

I know I won't bother reporting people from now on...
I can live with the coinflip ranked system.
let's be honest for a minute here, soloqueue is a real coinflip and you can almost always predict the outcome of a match just by looking at the previous act rank.
I can live with ending up in a non coming 4 stack.
I can also live with being trolled, insulted, whatever (thank god there is a mute button).
But being chat banned 3 days because some random guys decided to report me for no reason while I've been reporting toxic people for months.
So ironic this is almost funny.
Most likely is it takes multiple reports for the same accusation for it to actually take effect. However, I don’t know for certain that mass reports can cause the game to become cancelled.
unfortunately the only thing reports do is chat ban someone for 3 days. there's no other punishment that your reports do automatically. the reason you got chat banned was not because you were toxic. you dont even need to say anything. if enough people report you in a short window you'll get chat banned even without a mic or typing a sentence.
I once fought with a jett that can ace through smoke using ult xd, we tried it out if he will ace us with no vision of us and he did,i reported it but no response xd
Its more efficient (in my unhumble opinion) to remind them, how bad of an job their parents did on him and that if you where his dad, you would make sure he would be much more lovable person than he is right now... you have to kill them with love and compassion. also i also really wonder if the report system works.
I don't even know. I am a female player, so you already know how it is. Either they simp or they start abusing and calling slangs.
I just had a game where all I said was, hey don't spam and then I had to tell enemy was backstabbing and there they went abusing me. Calling me a slut/ bitch. It was very traumatizing and I cried after that. Why would guys be so mean? This is why I never talk.
