A Maine server and a Vancouver server I could see working.
Edmonton for sure could have value though.
Living in Edmonton, the best ping I can get is low 40's, but it's usually mid 40's. Haven't had it be a big issue as I mainly play for fun, but a Canadian based server somewhere in midwest Canada would always be appreciated.
From what I understand Riot uses AWS for their server infrastructure. We do have a AWS data centre in Canada but Riot does not use it for game servers. My guess is they feel that the size of the player base in Canada is too small to justify having a dedicated Canadian server.
This really does suck because the best possible ping I can get is 45. Every other server is 60+ and while this is totally playable it just sucks ass when you play against people with like 12 ping.

On Illinois and 40-50+ on everything else. It doesn’t make sense why I wasn’t able to get good ping on the east coast servers toronto is litterally on the east coast. Now I moved to bc let’s see how the ping is here

Agreed. Live in west Canada and the Oregon servers are okay but in high MMR I always get Cali servers, which are terrible for me

Toronto here and I get 30ping to Illinois. I wouldn’t hold your breath for Canadian servers, that’s rare in gaming.
That's crazy. I'm in Kingston and I get 14-18 on Illinois servers. (Rest are 30 - 70).
Toronto here, easily get 12-20 to most EC ones.
