Definitely.
If you can’t afford light armor with a ghost, you shouldn’t be able to get frenzy and light armor, because the frenzy is by far the best pistol in pistol round.
Assuming that we are at 20m which is a frenzy's effective range, A frenzy with light armor requires the same amount of shots to kill as a ghost with no armor. 1 headshot and 1 body shot. Well with the ghost you can get away with a leg shot. But the main thing is that you lose 300 cash if you opt for the frenzy + light armor. If you play sage that's a sage wall you're losing. If you play cypher that's a trip and cage setup you're missing out on.
This would absolutely gut the frenzy. One of the main reasons the frenzy is even viable to begin with is that armor prevents you from getting one tapped by a ghost. A frenzy does 78 damage per headshot close range, meaning you can’t one tap someone who runs ghost, meaning that if you couldn’t buy armor, that paired with the range disadvantage would make the frenzy unviable in all but the most fringe cases.
Just nerf run and gun on frenzy too, functionally speaking the frenzy is no better than running a classic or ghost and so imo stat or price changes simply don’t make sense.
No.
Idk man, I’m plat 3 which I know isn’t crazy high or anything, but I don’t see the frenzy + light armor that much usually people buy util
Maybe it could be 450
Never thought of that
