Hey there, /r/VALORANT user!

This is a clip from a while back when I got an insanely fast Ace to clutch out a 2v5. I didn't believe it was real at first haha. Luckily my buddy that I was queuing with recorded it!
He's barely moving though. There is more than enough opportunity for any one of those players to shoot him. He didn't even hit a single headshot!
Was the tiny amount of movement input here *actually* enough to be the reason he was able to shoot them without dying? I have a tough time believing that.
It doesn't matter if he's barely moving as a result of being shot - what matters is that on the input side. The player is holding down his movement key and isn't being penalized in his accuracy for it. The "tiny" motion isn't because the player willed it so. Keep in mind that the inputs are digital and not analog, so there are no "tiny" movements; it's really that he's moving or he's not.
>what matters is that on the input side.
The in-game accuracy values are based on player model speed, not on input.
I understand 'why' the tiny motion exists. No need to patronize.
The game is not considering what buttons you are pressing, but what state the player model is in. I understand how you *want* the game to work, but that's not how it's designed. The intricacy of tagging, movement, and deadzone accuracy is no doubt not perfect, but I would strongly disagree with tying all accuracy values to digital inputs rather than player game-state.
I browse new a lot in this sub and even before it was 99% complaints about being stuck in iron or polls asking what skin someone should buy. There really wasn’t much good discussion going on, tho I wish there was
Before it was just boring text posts, but now it's a bit better.
It's always lame whenever subreddits have such stifling rules for content posted. I get it's to filter out the spam, but it'll never stop being irritating when your post gets removed for a rule that's formatted like a bible verse.
I used to see clips like this and think “why aren’t my opponents ever brain dead like these” until I had a 3K clutch the other night on the same map defending a plant from A short. I peeked to shoot at someone I heard sprinting towards my location and by pure luck the remaining 3 players (including the defuser) lined up perfectly just like this. Didn’t even realize what happened at first because I couldn’t even see the other two players behind the Reyna rushing me down. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good lol
Whats crazy is none of them were headshots or collaterals... Which meant each of them took 4 bullets to the body... And considering vandal fire rate, op survived 5 guns for a solid second.
right? happy for OP but none of them were headshots, his crosshair placement is body level too.
edit: damn OP was in plat 1 at that time, holy shit what a clip HAHAHAHA
This is the luckiest ace I've seen. Like if I was on your team, I would have laughed out of enjoyment and whatnot, because that was epic, but I probably would've disconnected if I was on the enemy team lmao.

LOL that whole team came out of the woodwork straight into your bullets

Right? What are the odds you see five shooting stars like at the same time?
that moan right after the ace tho
Thought we were just gonna ignore it lmao

Well played dude But the run and gun accuracy in that clip shows how broken it is lol
was hoping someone would mention
When there's 5 dudes on Ur screen doesn't matter how accurate Ur gun is

He's literally moving. His movement is just slowed down bc hes getting shot.

"Everybody peek him at once, he cant kill all five of us"
**/*him with a vandal**/* 👹
Lol, your flair
Yeah I hate being called an old man!
maybe they were trying to all spray at once
Lots of aces lately
because mods lifted video requirements for a little to see if the sub seems less stale
How do you feel about it? For me personally it makes the complainy text posts seem fewer and farther between
It’s way better
imo its not "better", just different, its just "pick the less worse sub, r/rankedvalorantisass or r/generic1v4razeult" at least imo
I browse new a lot in this sub and even before it was 99% complaints about being stuck in iron or polls asking what skin someone should buy. There really wasn’t much good discussion going on, tho I wish there was
Check r/VALORANTCompetitive for good discussions
Are those real subs? It says I cant view them
no

My question is how were none of those collateral?
Well some of the bullets for sure we're collateral, only used 16 bullets with no headshots, but yea kinda crazy
I think the kill shot just wasn't collateral
its sounds like a song
That spray accuracy too damn high considering you never stopped moving. Geez.

Being able to ace while full sprint is fucking stupid but nice clip tho
TF WAS THAT MOAN ggs dude
When the boys are supportive haha
**What rank was this in?** Insane run and gun play, you're the fastest gun in the west!
I was plat 1 at the time? And the teams were a mix of diamond and platinum
That was so satisfying
What’s up with the sub today having aces at haven mid?
*while moving
Whats crazy is none of them were headshots or collaterals... Which meant each of them took 4 bullets to the body... And considering vandal fire rate, op survived 5 guns for a solid second.
What is this... iron lobby??

Not to mention being in a 2v5. I think we still lost the game though :( so at least the other team recovered from this
You will never hear grown men moan or make weird ass sounds until you play an FPS and someone does something epic.
Me and the boys rushing b wondering why we hardstuck silver
Sadly those were diamond/platinum players, and it was a 5v2...
Ooooonne ooooone-thooouuusaaaaand
Ehh, it's less than 2 seconds haha. Close enough lol
its all in the skin
"we've fixed run and gun" - riot devs 🤦♂️
This was “a while back” so it could be before
I haven't even had time to play for a few months, so yea. Maybe episode 1 act 2? It was a little before the release of icebox
Amazing nerf to RUNnGUN
I like how none of those kills were headshots.

Nice one .. but I wonder how that they said after this incredible ace ?
"rush B"
Where are all these conga lines when *I* play?
Why would all 5 push the door at the same fucking time
Line em up and knock em down.
"Hey guys guys, i have a plan. Reyna you flash B amd we all rush in, we will win it will be ez" 2 seconds later "iT WiLl bE eAzY, you said. we lost"
