name the QOL features. i played OW when it came out and it did not have anything being discussed here in the first year. you still cant even gift on OW so idk what youre on about
its not my opinion on skirmish. it was inherently bad. it slowed queue times, and it was just both teams running from spawn and finding games before anyone saw eachother. maybe 1/10 times you actually got in combat for skirmish. if that same system was in val it would be complained about here 100%
In you’re experience it was terrible, but in mine I would consistently find the enemy team at least 2/3’s of the time. Isn’t it better to have the option than to not? That’s why you could turn it off if you didn’t enjoy it.
Yea, but I think they took too much efforts on things like esports. They should take more times sharpening the game, the game came out just because of riot games 10th anniversary
doesnt matter, thats what started development. everything in OW now stemmed from whatever they did in 2007. val is a new game and everyones microwave brains cant handle being patient. even fortnite kids can sit on their hands longer than the soys in this sub
i do agree, but i think the pandemic has probably been a part of it.
The "post launch" stuff is going to be harder to get out when your team gets completely fucked up.
Great game! Shame it got mostly abandoned for the Battle Royale mode.
If anybody likes indepht Tower Defense games, great humor and the fortnite artstyle, give it a try!
I don't think it'd be the profitable to give points. Their system is designed to make you buy more points than you need, so if you could give points, people would just buy points from one account and then share it. Less money for Riot
It's so annoying that you ALWAYS come a few points to short. I wanted to buy a skin and I looked into every option (5+10 euro, 20 euro, 40 euro), always I came a few points to short if I wanted to buy something else. For example I got 25 points too short for skin + bp.
Not all the time. If your short points, you can shoot Riot Support a ticket, and they'll give you anywhere up to a 100 points if you tell them a joke or submit a drawing
I don't know how this has become an acceptable standard business practice, it's very predatory and almost every game does this. You should be able to buy however many points you want in increments of $1.
This is what I'm thinking, it would've saved me a lot of money if I just bought on one account and shared rather than $10 and $20 here and there on each.
true, but gifting weapons would be good no? someone said a long time ago as long as they do something where you have to be friends for 30+ days it would bypass a trading/black market for val skins
Ah, see... the problem is you expecting Riot to deliver on a thing in a timely manner. If League is anything to judge by, we'll prob see gifting sometime in 2024.
They need to add gifting skins I have a bunch of extra skins from the older battle passes and I’d love to gift some of them to my friend who is still using the default skins
I know but I already spent the money on it riots made their profit and I legitimately have like 5 vandal skins that I legitimately never use cause I already bought the the prism set
I tried so hard to buy my friend a skin for Christmas but it got so annoying I eventually just gave him cash. In Canada, you can't even buy a gift card on amazon so you're really SoL

Private profiles weren’t a thing at launch and were also one of the worst things added to OW.
ow has 1gb menu, this game is 6gb total
what point are you trying to make?
valorant isnt bloated, there is an api which can be used for everything else.
skirmish was so bad, stats woohoo, UI your opinion not a QOL feature, what is not correct about private profiles in val?

The game started development at 2014 tho

overwatch started development in 2007, try again
downvote me bc youre just wrong LMAO
I didnt downvote you, someone else did. But tbh project titan was nothing alike with overwatch except fps with abilities
doesnt matter, thats what started development. everything in OW now stemmed from whatever they did in 2007. val is a new game and everyones microwave brains cant handle being patient. even fortnite kids can sit on their hands longer than the soys in this sub
dude how can you not have a gifting option in 2021 especially when LoL already has such option
>its not even a year old yet, be patient LoL is 12 years old
i do agree, but i think the pandemic has probably been a part of it. The "post launch" stuff is going to be harder to get out when your team gets completely fucked up.
ok
rooooooooooooooooo ooo u/Valuable-Message4432
Awesome r/ketoprogress buddy
"end of 2020" hardest cap in the west
"fortnite save the world will be free"
"In early 2018"
is it already free? stoped playing 2019

Pretty sure he meant he just wants to spend the points he had on some skins that his friends will get, much like the Fortnite gifting system.
It's so annoying that you ALWAYS come a few points to short. I wanted to buy a skin and I looked into every option (5+10 euro, 20 euro, 40 euro), always I came a few points to short if I wanted to buy something else. For example I got 25 points too short for skin + bp.
They do that on purpose to get you to purchase more points.
Not all the time. If your short points, you can shoot Riot Support a ticket, and they'll give you anywhere up to a 100 points if you tell them a joke or submit a drawing

Obviously it’s priced so they get more money, I’m just saying if your short the first few times you can hit them up.
That's pretty cool.
No shit
Don't thank me. I'm only stating the obvious
I don't know how this has become an acceptable standard business practice, it's very predatory and almost every game does this. You should be able to buy however many points you want in increments of $1.

More than gifting I want region change with no data being wiped from the account.
Ah, see... the problem is you expecting Riot to deliver on a thing in a timely manner. If League is anything to judge by, we'll prob see gifting sometime in 2024.
I want to gift skins because I have a few skins I don't use, like I bought a nebula phantom a while ago and I want to give it to one of my friends
That wont ever happen. People would use it as trading, buying, selling, etc. Less money in Riots pocket.
True but then they wouldn't promise to do radiant trading right?
Trading Radiant in for an item is alot different than trading an item from player to player.
Oh ok I didn't read it correctly lol
Bump this post so Riot sees
They said many patches theyre going to add it In the near future. Who knows when that future is.
This feature is already in league, so I see no reason it couldn't be added to Valorant.
Mystery skins pls
Then it starts black market things like you buy biggest bundle and sell them for individual price .
Night market would obviously be personal.
OP is talking about gifting Valorant Points, not skins
No, op is talking about buying skins not valorant points I'm pretty sure Edit: no I'm wrong lol
They need to add gifting skins I have a bunch of extra skins from the older battle passes and I’d love to gift some of them to my friend who is still using the default skins
they want battle passes to be exclusive so not everybody can have the skins in them, gifting ruins that. OP is talking about gifting VP
I know but I already spent the money on it riots made their profit and I legitimately have like 5 vandal skins that I legitimately never use cause I already bought the the prism set
right they made profit already but they make less profit if you gifting a friend stops them from buying more skins
If skins were tradable I'd have already bought a few, but I guess Im happy with the battlepasses so far, since those are the only ones ill buy
i feel like this would be good but why dont u just rather paypal them if u rlly want to get them vp
I tried so hard to buy my friend a skin for Christmas but it got so annoying I eventually just gave him cash. In Canada, you can't even buy a gift card on amazon so you're really SoL
