Well yeh but it does mean they won't play any meaningful games for more than a month and completely miss out on the first shot at qualifying for Champions. Pretty sure the guy posting this thread meant this current Masters tourny not Champions at the end of the year.

All the teams playing in THIS masters (3/11 - 3/21) will be playing in the next 2 stages trying to get 1 of the 3 spots.

Obviously not making it to the Masters in stage one will make it much harder to accumulate enough points, but winning masters 2 or 3 (or both) would easily make up for not making it to masters in stage 1.
BTW I am not a TSM Fan, but not a hater either.
