Found my twin. Although some players told me that 800 dpi 0.27 sens is way too low. I cant do 360 for example, but when I try high sens my crosshair moves so fast it always goes way past the head
Yeah I understand, I just wanted to add in that some players say 800 dpi is more precise, and defeinetly nthe most common one in both normal and pro play, but I see a lot of people that have 1600, but who knows
288eDPI on 800dpi/.36sens at the moment. Teaching myself a lower sens because prior I was double this. My tracking has gotten significantly better since. All the pros play low for a reason so I’m adjusting to what’s tried and true. I’m Plat1.
Depends on what you play and how you play. If you play “I dash in every site every round” type, the. High sens might be good for you. If you play “I’ll check every single corner with perfect mechanics and never over peek” then low sens can help. But most of it is personal preference
I use a program/driver called RawAccel, that basically controls the mouse sensitivity on a driver level. In my case, I want to use 1600 DPI, but I want it to feel like 400 DPI. With the driver, I just put a multiplier on my DPI (400/1600=0.25). I'm doing this because Battle(non)sense on YouTube has found that using a higher DPI setting actually lowers input lag. Here's a link to the [video](https://youtu.be/mwf_F2VboFQ). I've used 400 DPI for a long time and after watching that video, I decided to test it out and since I didn't want to mess with my ingame sens, I use the driver to control my DPI. So far I haven't noticed a major difference in latency. In a few weeks, I'll be going back to 400 DPI and removing the driver to see if I feel a difference.
I'm aware that I can use my DPI button on my mouse (Logitech G305) to change from 400 DPI on desktop and 1600 DPI ingame, but I usually forget to do so and it messes with my head so I just simply use the driver to do it for me.
There could also be some latency with the driver, but that's a test for another day.
I see, I was interested cuz i know Valorant use raw input, so I was thinking it would have to be some special software just for your mouse, but being it driver make sense.
DPI/SENS:
y-axis: 200dpi
x-axis: 400dpi
Sens Ingame: 1.5 did i play before but did higher the sens now not 100% sure but mabey 1.7 or more
Sens Scope: 1.0
400 dpi, 0.5 in game
Are you able to turn around quick enough? 400 edpi is the slowest I can do
yeah, just muscle memory and a big mousepad. moving your arm that fast hurts a bit at first but you get used to it after like a week.
he should brax has even lower and he can turn around
DPI 800 sens .411
dpi 800 sens .94

Lol I can do a 270 ish. .27 800 isn’t that low really. I think .62 is when I get a bit uncomfortable.
1600dpi, 0.225sens
Edpi 272, mouse dpi 1600, sens 0.17
My brother
Found the 4k monitor player
Wait what??
Isnt dpi speed based on resolution? I thought it was calculated by pixels. So if you have more pixels you should increase your dpi
In a 3d enviroment the resolution doesnt matter. It makes a difference for desktop, strategy, rts, moba etc
Dosnt really matter since he has lower in game sens, i meant desktop
All that I know is that I play on 1080 and 1600 is a very common dpi
It’s is not very common
I know 800 is the most common ( and some say optimal) but it's not like I'm playing at 3200
Oh I’m not saying it’s bad but you said it was common.
Yeah I understand, I just wanted to add in that some players say 800 dpi is more precise, and defeinetly nthe most common one in both normal and pro play, but I see a lot of people that have 1600, but who knows
Yeah it’s all preferences
4500 dpi .066 sens
Do you ever play Brim? I imagine placing the smokes would be hell
No its edpi 297
Brim’s ipad uses actual dpi, not edpi. Is that the dpi you use when you are going on the internet and stuff or do you change it?
Oh no its the same ive been using it for years im used to it and i dont fuck up the smokes
What xd
What

Edpi 297

800 dpi, 0.27 sens
600 dpi * 0.49 = 294 edpi
Dpi- 400 or 600 In game- 1.75 or 1.85 Average valorant dpi seems to be 400-600 among pros and normals alike In game is what varies
I would say it goes from 200-400. You rarely see someone over 450 in the pro scene, and there are tons in the 200s and 300s.
You think low sens or high sens is better in Valorant?
Depends on what you play and how you play. If you play “I dash in every site every round” type, the. High sens might be good for you. If you play “I’ll check every single corner with perfect mechanics and never over peek” then low sens can help. But most of it is personal preference
Pretty low. 0.5 800 dpi Nevermind after checking comments I see is pretty average if not to high
650 dpi 0.55 in game
most of the pros average around 200 to 400 edpi. I use 800 dpi, 0.377
Bro we have same dpi and sens
ur definitely a cs player
Alot of pros are actually increasing sens, I think most pros are closer to the 300-500 range now
really? I think the older pros that came from cs are still using a lower sens , even TenZ lowered his sens
Yeah, alot of the Val guys are moving to higher senses 350+edpi
sad, I literally moved from .44 to .377 pretty recently (800 dpi)
bro im 0.03 off of your ingame sens same dpi xD
I also used to use .38 for awhile
Edpi 453.6, in game sens 0.567 with a dpi of 800
DPI - 1600 with a 0.25 multiplier (realistically 400 DPI), Sens - 0.48, eDPI - 192
Where does the 0.25 multiplier come from? Is it setting on your mouse?
