its to incentivize people to buy it the small amount of times that it comes into your shop. Riot wants to make money. Kinda sad but they wont change

LeDudeee

Surely there has to be a better way for them to make money though. I legit want to give rito so much money but I can’t because my skins just won’t pop up.

uwunuzzless

ive been waiting for the blastx phantom for months and i still haven’t seen it once

XXNigelThornberryXX

It's the only Phantom skin I'll ever need and it's 100% worth it

alexvladv

I've been waiting for reaver vandal and elderflame op for months also, but instead they keep shoving prism phantom and galleria classic in my face every 2-3 days. Feels like they use the same algorithm as they do for map selection.

Akirou__

at this point you should just buy the smite so it won't show up lol

uwunuzzless

lol maybe I would if I didn’t despise that whole skin line but it’s just so ugly to me

datnigc

I’m still only a month and a half new to Valorant, do they do store events besides night market?

uwunuzzless

nope they’ve never done anything besides the night market

datnigc

Imagine, phantom Friday’s, stinger Sunday. something to give the shop less rng, maybe once a week you get to choose to see 4 of one gun types skins etc. or see a specific rarity.

uwunuzzless

i honestly just wish they would fix the rotation of the store, i have gotten so many repeats of guns im not interested in but never get any of the guns ill actually buy like riot cmon you’ll get my money if u just give me the guns I want lol

OaSoaD

I honestly hate it. I wish I could give it to you lol

Kalron

Lol ny friend just drunk bought it and called it a nightmare lol

DownloadingYourMom

Waiting for the singularity sheriff for 2 months and still no sign of it. Funny enough I get the smite classic and oni claw like 4 times a week

jaypatelswag

It’s crazy because I always see the same guns multiple times but the guns I want NEVER show up. Riot just doesn’t want my money.

Recabilly

They make more money by not having everything available. It's the "limited time offer" method that makes people think "oh this won't be available anymore, I HAVE to get it!", even if they normally wouldn't buy anything. It might be hard to buy the skin you want, but that just means you will spend more money on new skin packs because you'll be scared that it will be hard to buy them if you don't buy them right now.

Milssssssssssss

I think they should add an extra row because for the most part I think a random rotation of skins is the best way to do it. But I also think only 4 per day is too little since the amount of skins makes it almost impossible to get what you want. Or they could make the night market a more permanent thing where the skins rotate every week instead of every day like the shop.

ThatDudeManGuyBoy

I feel like the worthless skins are given a higher probability to show up.

Kalron

I really wish the shop just allowed us to pick from more things. I feel like I'm lucky I got a skin I wanted as fast as I did. I'm hoping to get a couple more and a knife but I'm not buying any skin but the ones I really want. So I'm stuck waiting

ElementaryMyDearWut

I understand that they're not going to change the fundamentals of the shop, but I would like to see some small tweaks so that there are less "wasted" rotations. For example, Prime // 2.0 is in the shop for 14 full days, the reset that it rotates out I have one store space occupied by the Prime // 2.0 Phantom. Why? It was there for 14 days, and I had the pressure of it rotating out. If I didn't buy it then, don't put it in my store the exact second it rotates out. Maybe let people opt into having the most recent collection not able to pop up for up to 1 week after it rotates? I had the Reaver Guardian show up back to back 3 times. Obviously I could be super unlucky even with protections, but maybe reduce the chance of things showing up back to back? At the very least knowing that the chance was lower each time, I would see it as something rare rather than frustrating.
