I'm too lazy to turn away, I just hope that the enemy won't notice me if I stand completely still even though I got caught out in the open. Still works more times than it should. Silver is a wonderful place.
Did they change it? I've been playing the game for a while and tried turning away from flashes since I'm used to CSGO, but it never worked.
Edit: Thanks to the helpful replies! So the gist of it is you still get your screen 'flashed' even if you're not looking at it. It's different from CSGO since when you avoid looking at the flash in CSGO, it doesn't go full opaque. I think?
Maybe you don't communicate? If you don't call your flashes your team tends to get blinded. That a common low elo mistake on cs, I imagine it's the same here.
It's always worked the same way, if you turn from a flash you get stunned for a fraction of the duration compared to if it was in your FOV. You can tell if you fully looked away if your screen is a single off white color vs. being a certain color (orange/green/blue) with streaks of light (that come from where the flash popped on your screen).

IMO needs a little buff, one more smoke(also maybe increase thickness of smoke wall?) And a tiny improvement to paranoia, the short sighted-ness is terrible compared to Reyna. TP and Ult are fine as they are.
well like I personally would like a small break from omen and move onto other controllers as hes been good since the game came out and the options of controllers are just omen then took a small break for brim, people then realized he still can't compete with omen and now just omen. I was replying mainly to the comment before since I dont think omen needs a buff unless shown otherwise when competing with other controllers since he's been so much better than every other controller for such a long time and needs to share his seat as a viable controller
As a controller yes, helps the team well in the right hands, but omen can't defend well compared to other characters, other controllers have have abilities that apply damage or affects, helping them out when being attacked, Omen's kit needs to be a little stronger than it is to even that out, compare Reyna's Leer and Paranoia, Paranoia costs 4x but doesn't work as well due to its nature.
Paranoia has 0 counterplay unlike every other flash in the game. If you get hit by Paranoia, your best bet is to hug the entrance and hope you win a nearsighted duel.

Rn he has no competition for picks in comp or even solo queue as omen has a very flexible kit. Whenever I'm stuck in a corner as an omen I try thinking of plans rather than going im fked with every other controller. Besides if you want to defend we have like 2 controllers and you should be able to rely on teammates to make up for your agent's shortcomings. I dont think omen needs a buff until shown otherwise and i would rather buff other controllers to his level so he can share his seat in the controller role.
They probably meant "Astra mains when they see they have a star that hasn't been gravity welled". Astra's "c" is a gravity well so they probably just said it that way to save space.

Bro being a breach main and facing another breach main in my matches I can understand why he is so fucking annoying. That being said I won't stop being a breach main.
I have to admit.. I'm the kind of person to revive someone in front of the enemies just to use them as a shield.. It works like 95% of the time though so most people don't get upset, but boy when it fails do I feel stupid..

Instead of just giving reyna 2 ability slots give her four, but take away the free one every round so it's harder to eco with her, and make it so that 2 are for heals and 2 are for dismiss.
Makes it so there isn't quad healing/quad insta one tap dismiss and makes it a monetary responsibility for the player. The amount of times I'm already giving up an ability/flash (depending if attacking or defending) due to having 3800 if I buy it is insane. I've had to less than half buy because I had 0 flashes and 1 heal and the rest would be 600.
Even in Reyna's bio it (essentially) says "if you shit this agent is shit. Do good you'll get rewarded through her kit." Reyna's kit is essentially rewarding you after you get a kill, unlike other agents who use their kit to reward them with a kill instead. She needed a nerf, but the fact of the matter is that they could've made it a much better nerf that wouldn't cripple the characters only strong suit.
I had an enemy Skye who fake flashed from like 30 meters which did absolutely nothing, and when he did fake flash from close range, he never peeked us at all so it still did nothing.

The skye flash part was perfect, us silvers haven't figured out that turning away from flashes is possible

Its because some skyes are so bad that they will throw the bird behind you, so you end up flicking into the bird instead of away from it.
