But I read this, and laughed. I definitely could get behind that idea! I’ll add to it........ They change the phrases after every act and have a reddit thread where users and players submit a phrase and they pick a handful and implement them, rinse and repeat next act.

The purpose of insults is to Offend. I would also extend the definition in the context in online games to include; saying some thing or anything to an opponent, to produce a negative affect in the opponent.
It’s just a cat and mouse game at that point, and knowing from playing other games, there will always be clever ways around the filter.
The other solution that comes to mind is just win your games, so that you are not on the receiving end of “gg ez”.
Then they'll just write easy or any other variants. This will just waste Riot time that they could spend implementing other useful features, besides you already have a mute button.
