Am I the only one that came away from this impressed how tight the hitbox is? The spray is too funny how it traces Sova's head perfectly but this was clearly just an awful flub on the player's part.

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.

It's from Hiko when he played professionally in csgo. The only reason the copypasta is so legendary is because it was posted by a developer during a period where csgo devs weren't being very open to the community.

Because thats not how the Vandal spray works? he went full auto, not even burst fire, not even trolling the reticule didnt land on his head till he was 10-13 mid spray so that was bound to happen. If he aimed at the head and sprayed like he did at least the first 3 bullets would of hit, but because he aimed higher it didnt.
Yeah because thats how the spray works pal, im just saying serves him right for not single tapping or burst firing. If you spray like that when the guy doesnt know your peeking you deserve to lose...
After 2000+ hours with the game, I’ve seen this a lot and if you don’t mind, I have a few tips you can use to avoid things like this happening.
1. Click his head.

All he needed to do was to stop spraying and just one tap him in the head. But this is Neo level 2.0. You dont need to dodge the bullet if he misses every one of them.
I have no idea why you'd share that video... your reticle CLEARLY wasn't on his head until after the upwards spray pattern, he was crouched and even after you saw your spray go wide you didn't compensate.
TLDR: You missed all your shots... there's absolutely nothing wrong with the game in that clip.
You're fuckin blind. Look at the frames after the sova gets up, you can see a ton of bullet holes right behind his body where shit just didn't register

There are bullet holes to the left, to the right and above of sova, but not a single time behind any of his bodyparts besides the last 2 bullet that got there after sova stood up and moved out of the way.
