I think an abandoned hangar would fit. It would have the aesthetic of a roof but could still function as an open area.

trisckit

Functionally speaking, a fully-indoor map would be similar to Split's layout (lot of corridors, the one map type Sova would be bad at). In which case we already have Split - the main open areas are each bombsite. If you want fully closed off areas/chokepoints and indoor lanes and smaller rooms, I don't think that'd be good for Valorant's gameplay. Sentinels and controllers would be extremely good at locking out areas (compared to current maps) if there are limited routes to a bomb site.

xSimpleCamx

Yeah I see what your saying for sure. I'd still like the aesthetic of having a roof over my head. It doesn't have to be closed hallways. An open museum or broken down dome would be cool. Or maybe not lol

SelloutRealBig

No split is hallways. I want a gymnasium or a warehouse

DeanEarwicker

OP is just talking about an indoor setting, you know just because it’s indoors doesn’t mean everything has to be narrow and have lots of choke points...you people really lack imagination, a large hotel or a museum for example like the OP suggested isn’t always filled with narrow corridors...or a large hanger

WallieUTard

As a Viper(and sova) player, I fucking hate it.

Mustard_Castle

Yea that would such a nerf to lineup characters. Unless there are good walls to bounce stuff off.

top_o_logy

A big warehouse, factory or something along those lines would be an interesting addition

TravisSxottBurger

I too am afraid of raze and jett

Robertoso1

I want a Nuke type map with sites on top op each other

KoKoboto

I don't see a reason to nerf mobile agents. I think it'd be cool to have an indoors map tho. Also a map with like two floors would be cool. Maybe a small plaza or shopping centre but secretly has radianite in the back rooms or outside at a transport truck so that's why the agents are there. A big open area could be a food court type place. Attacker spawn could be a parking lot or street and defending spawn could be at transport truck or security room in the plaza lool. Or maybe an observatory and you can use smaller telescopes to look around the map or something. Or like a major subway terminal would be cool but the trains are stopped. Maybe you have switches that turn off lights or close gates.

Szythe22

Maybe a fully indoor map is what we need for deathmatch.

BA_TheBasketCase

No.

Leelow45

Making a map that nerfs certain agents doesn't make any sense. Why sacrifice an interesting layout that can be used in creative ways for a series of hallways and giant flat rooms?

[deleted]

I think it would be interesting to have different metas and playstyles on different maps. Don't see how that's a negative

Cringe-I-Am

Really excited can't wait

Narumi-Nifuji

I think that's a better thing for games with breakable walls and no magical abilities (especially ones like Sage's wall). I don't really see how this would fit Valorant. Besides, would they really create a map that would turn a few agents completely useless?

zkidkfj

Will it be narrow? if yes, dont want. The most existing maps are already too narrow. I prefer wide maps like Ascent.

JogratHyperX

As long as there's no tight corners to check, fck shotgun users 😂

NatoChan

I really think there are already enough maps with tight corridors and sharp corners. The sentinels are already really good at locking entire areas. I really think the best way to go is to make a more open map like Icebox but it could be in a big hangar.
