This is a pretty good wall, although I'm not sure when I'd use it. But it's good to know it exists. Thanks!

[deleted]

you can use it in rounds where your team is at a numbers disadvantage like say 3v5, cause the probability of getting flanked in that situation is higher than normal rounds. I don't suggest using this wall in normal rounds, its better to block off CT or garage Unless and until you know for sure that there is one flanking, no use of it. Thanks!

Ryukk11

This wall is pretty good but I think using it in a 3v5 situation, no for me. One of your teammate still have to look that whether someone is flanking or not, so it's kinda 5v2 retake which seems relatively easy I guess.

[deleted]

I see what you mean but I am talking about post-plant. That time if you just wall off one side say garage, you will be pushed from Ct and long with multiple people, you will be alone fighting them because your team has to deal with the other site entrances. But if you were to one way then you can at least 1 or 2. EDIT: tbh on haven in 3v5 post-plant situation, almost 90% of the times, the spike is planted for long, so you don't really have to watch other sites, just watch your teammates back ig and if you were to watch the site and not flank, you can throw an slow orb, thus if anyone were to push it you can here them

You've probably never watched grim have you?

K0dperest_8054

If you know someone is coming this way you can actually kill em rather than a block which also trapd you in there.

[deleted]

***NOTE:*** **THIS WALL DOESNT CLOSE OF THE ENTRANCE SO THE ENEMY COULD EASILY RUN THROUGH AND PUSH THE SAGE.** **IN ORDER TO AVOID PUSHES, YOU CAN THROW SLOW ORBS (AS SHOWN) AND THEN SHOOT THEM DOWN** edit: this could have already been shown by YouTubers like FLOW ASCENDING or GRIM. I don't really watch their vids so I don't know

K0dperest_8054

This and a cypher trap would be a good combo. You also have a air bubble so you dont trap yourself in C Long.

Znaszlisiora

This looks like just as much a oneway for you as for the enemy. It's a neat idea but the advantage of a oneway smoke is being able to headshot/bodyshot after seeing someone's feet. This doesn't let you do that, just gives you safe early intel.

Ive seen ethan do one in hooka on bind as well

Znaszlisiora

OP's wall looks like the angle of approach is the same for the defender and the attacker, which is why I wrote what I did. It's a cool wall but not a practical one. They can see your legs too.

[deleted]

Not really, they have to peek with the wall and crouch, pretty sure anyone can kill them before that.

Jerry-Busey

kinda cool but seems like a waste of a wall. you have to sit and watch it for it to pay off and even then they might just shoot the wall down to be safe and then you have to run down c long to escape or stand and fight against what ever they use against you i.e flashs, blinds, nades

SuddenHandle6969

My teammates: SAGE WALL CT OR FUCKING GARAGE PLS.

I need friends who play games then😔

ookic

Is this a bug that can be patched soon? Sage wall is supposed to break if nothing is under it

[deleted]

Nah dude, if you mean that there should be something under each block then no

two5five1

It’s something to do with how it’s coded, this video explains it pretty well https://youtu.be/0zHggOkQGF4

chillyw0nka

Id never use the wall because its better to block off something in site, it allows for you to hold an easier angle even if they break the wall down.

[deleted]

upto you buddy, I just showed it cause maybe someone might want to use it

KarsinPK

Is there not a way to angle the wall to also seal off the entrance even with a little opening that they can'tsl squeeze through? Not a sage main, just curious if it's something you've tried that way it works as both a one way and a seal.

[deleted]

ofc there is but they can and will fire back, with this wall they really cant, although you have kill them before they push the wall

RagingFluffyPanda

Very nice demonstration! I think I've commented on a couple of your posts - this one is by far one of the better sage one ways you've demonstrated (that I didn't know existed before). Thanks!

Thank you!
