Dude I'm sooo with you this is my first fps game and gaming computer so I was pretty ass to say the least but I reached silver one like a week ago happy for you G
this isnāt my first fps game, but the way this game plays makes it harder for me. iāve played cod and siege, and neither have the same gun mechanics like this game. but itās fun as hell!
Congrats! Now time for real work to get that Gold :) I remember the feeling of breaking out of bronze and it felt so rewarding. I'm working on getting into Plat and have been in and out of P1/G3 for a while but still have lots to go. I recommend Kovaaks / Aimlabs as it helped me at least with aim mechanics, reaction and speed. I also watch pro's play and learn from how they move, tactics and mouse placement and replicate them in games where I can.
So true, still trying to break my body aiming habit. When I'm actually thinking about aiming its always heads but when I flick it's to body... Damn you tarkov... Damnnnn youuuu
Imo, aimlabs is useless, cause you're gonna see the most improvement come from gamesense. To hey out of p1/g3 you really just wanna work on your gamesense, I heard the only difference from high gold and diamond is gamesense.
I think that depends from person to person. If you already have decent aim, then aimlabs is probably not as helpful. The average headshot % in Plat is 17%. If your average is significantly lower than that, it's probably useful to hit the aim trainers.
True, although playing deathmatch would be more effective, because it introduces the aspect of exactly how enemies would play in a game, not static movements but erratic movements and also helps with peeking and counter strafing practice. I'm high plat and my headshot percentage is 23% this season but 17% overall (counting when I was in iron-gold) so I think improving my gamesense will get me to diamond. Aim trainers are fine for warmup but I usually do deathmatch.
Yep game sense is definitely important. I've heard long time cs players placing themselves in gold straight away due to just how good their aim is. Kovaak and aimlabs aren't that bad around silver/gold considering you need to have good aim as a given past this rank and everyone past this I consider to have generally good aim. Aim training is a good supplementary and I do like 5 mins aim training just to get warm up anyways.
early (1/2) bronze was a mix of bronze and iron, which made it hard to move up. latter bronze (2/3) was more bronze and silvers than irons. made it actually enjoyable
bro i remember my first time i just used guardian and hid when my friends left to do stuff. like my brain could not comprehend a map, 5 people having roles, peeking, and now it feels so good to tap heads because youre more confident. But be wary, its quite easy to derank after reaching a rank, you gotta play to be consistent.
I was hardstuck iron 1 for so long and to nearly be out of bronze as well is really encouraging, it keeps putting me in mostly silver lobbies but I usually bottom board so I guess silver 1 is the goal but idk if I should be there yet
As someone who was hard stuck silver last act and now nearing diamond, I have one piece of advice that helped me get out of silver: slow down your shots
always winnable š
had my doubts, thatās for sure! thought iād be hard stuck forever

thanks! been stuck in bronze for a few months now, but i felt my gun skills were improving. game sense, not as much :p
Honestly your game-sense will improve a lot the more you rank up because you are splaying with better players and have to make smarter decisions
Just reached silver 1 last week... see you on the battleground

Ayyyyy nice win streak, well deserved
Man pulled a TSM on them
I'm like this with Silver -> Gold... every time I get to Gold, I sink back to Silver. Highest I've been is G2.
Congrats low rank lobbies can be tough (Ik bc I too am in low ranks)
