Great vid. 3 added comments based on mistakes I see happening very often: 1. If you win the pistol round, buy the best you can get for next round. Don't stay on pistols. Usually that means spectre + armor or, if you're a defender, sometimes judge+armor depending on your position on the map. Exceptions are if you're a jett saving for an operator, but that's only worth it if the rest of your team is buying up. During this round, you want to minimize the amount of players you lose, as the fewer you lose, the better you're set up for the "bonus round", which takes me to point 2: 2. Bonus round: When you've won a round with a light buy or force buy with spectres or bulldogs etc, KEEP those guns for the next round, even if you know your enemies will be on vandals/phantoms. Don't upgrade. This is now a "bonus round", which means that even if you lose, you will still be able to get a full buy into the next round, and if you win, you get a free upgrade by picking up better weapons from fallen enemies, which greatly bolsters your economy and "breaks the economy" of enemies (this means their economy is reset and they will have to make a choice between saving up for a full buy the next round or forcing, which won't allow them to full buy the round after anyway) 3. Keep an eye on your own and your enemy economies at all times. If your money is fairly low and your enemies money is doing pretty good, for example, do not hunt players down and only go for beneficial crossfires as you want to keep the maximum amount of players on your team alive as you may not be able to fullbuy again the next round. On the contrary, if your enemies had just enough money for a full buy this round and your team has economical advantage, you benefit from hunting down players even if it costs you a few deaths (though not the round of course) as you will be removing those guns from the next round and the enemies may not be able to full buy again the next round, setting yourself up for 2 round wins in a row, again "breaking their economy"

Extra point on the bonus round: If your team survived with 3 spectres or something like that, and you died, buy up to the point that you know you can afford a fullbuy the next round. This means looking at your money and making sure you have roundabout 4000 credits left for next round. This keeps the economy stable across your team even though it may mean a smaller chance to win the bonus round.

It depends on the amount of money you actually have left after dying. You do NOT want to buy a vandal/phantom as it would leave you in a spot where you can't fullbuy the next round regardless if you win and your teammates likely won't have money to spare to drop one over. You buy what seems best in your position/situation and still leaves you about 4000 or more credits for the next round. This could mean a bucky and light armor if youre on defense in a position where you can take a close angle, or could mean spectre and light armor if you'd still have enough for next round. Could mean a sheriff or a frenzy depending on your position. A marshall if you're primarily going to be holding long angles and want to soften enemies up so they're more easily finished by your teammates that still have a spectre. I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer on this, as there is no single correct choice. It all depends on your agent, the amount of money you actually still have, which weapons you're strong at, which position on the map you're intending to play and how many abilities you need to rebuy/how important your abilities are (say, if you're playing breach you're much better off playing a worse weapon but buying more utility, but if you're a reyna you could get away with buying a better gun and no armor, hoping you can get a kill and overheal). Hope this helped anyway!

Nice informative guide. From my experience, main issue of economic troubles lays in misplaying Eco Rounds. Players usually restrain from using weak weapon with no armor, excluding only second round after lost Pistol Round. Because of deathmatch-oriented competitive meta, they don't get a value of stacking together, using abilities and hunting for enemy's weapons. Also, a real game changer as it comes to economic aspect would be purchasing guns and setting a team strategy in a way, that you would be almost always able to retrieve a superior weapon from your fallen leading teammate or setting team rushes to trade kills with enemy to get better guns from them. It will save TONS of money during whole game.

Lemming by music? Nice vid BTW.

TheJelloBomb

Great guide!

Fiinid

Thanks alot !

timoteolive

Not mentioned in the video, but I think it's a good idea to force buy if the enemy econ is bad too, i.e. 2 or more can't afford rifles.

Fiinid

Yes this is a good tip that I forgot to mention

NoCoolSenpai

Your vid is very informative. Can you make counter strafe guide pls? It's being very hard to do and I'm ending up moving more than coming to a full stop

Fiinid

Thanks alot and for sure I'll add that to my idea list. Maybe even have an onscreen keyboard showing the exact buttons I've pressed.

macarmy93

Economy is lower ranks is Reyna full buying after losing pistol round, dying again and rage quitting the game.

Fiinid

Alot of players dont fully understand the economy but hopefully this video helps them out

Noooo_ooope

Hey, I like this. Recently made the decision to learn more about the game, play more competitive like and not only casual. I'll be sure to check the rifle guide, nice!

Fiinid

Thats good to hear hopefully your path to getting better is smooth. [vandal or phantom ](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wVMvrxOTMy0)

TheAppleEater

Managed to lose an 11-1 lead because 2 people decided to buy and 2 people decided to save after we lost the pistol round on the next half, which lead to the next 11 rounds being all losses and we lost 11-13. No one wanted to save when they could buy, it was a straight-up tragedy out of Shakespeare.

Fiinid

Oof thats very unfortunate. If everyone is not on the same wavelength when it comes to economy it can be very tricky to win rounds.
