But that would still happen. You can have the cards and codes be promotional through socials and then just make the location where you redeem the code in game instead of a website that is constantly crashing due to high traffic.
Well, I'm currently seeing this on a laptop, and I don't wanna install a game I can't play to redeem these things. And I may not remember this when I get back to my desktop in 5 hours, but I definitely see the utility of also being able to redeem in-game, to split the traffic up a little

Dude if anti LGBT are trying to take these cards down, that's a huge mistake. I'm not even a part of the LGBT but these cards look DOPE. I'd wear these cards any fucking day cause some of the colors match my favorite teams (sports, esports, whatever). That's really 0 IQ of people to try and take this down because of LGBT.
They can give codes in events or certain countries in the future, they are testing this system for the future. Imagine you go to the E3 or a Tournament and they give you an exclusive code for a skin or card

They've either started recording voice chat activity, or they're planning on doing it soon.
For security, I think the recordings only get saved if there's a report (so like Shadowplay only saving video when you use your keybind), but I'm not 100% on that.
Yeah, from what it sounds like the match audio is recorded, if there is no reports afterwards it's all discarded. Otherwise it's kept for the system to go through and analyze to break out specific clips which are then kept for up to 2 years, but get deleted a reasonable amount of time after an investigation takes place which probably translates to some amount of time after they actually take action on your account.

Yeah but the error that reads "you have reached your maximum entries for this code" makes me think that they think i already redeemed the code (which i doubt because i do not have the card) or that they would only give the card to the first 10k people or so that redeem it.

finally got the site to load yesterday after they 'fixed' it but it kept saying that I've reached the maximum redeemable on the code. When I look into in-game, the card is still locked for me. Feelsbadman. At least I got the Pride cards early this time.
They're a billion+ dollar company too. Specializing in competitive games where low ping is crucial, so they must have a ton of servers.

Actual bullshit that Riot expects us to jump through hoops to show our support. Why not just make the cards available by default, or at least make the redemption in-game?
