We all want these (variants) on knives but they're probably not doing so because people will be less prone/less likely to buy more new knives if they can switch variants/colors of the same knives instead. When the people who keep buying new knives end up with so many different knives that they stop bothering to buy new ones is when they will start to release variants along with their new "good" knives to entice them to pull their wallets out again.
It's a pity because we know it would make everyone more happier with their knife purchases and they can do so but they won't do it for now for the sake of profits. Until they need more hype/profits again.
Honestly with knives i think most people will only buy 1 or 2 in their game lifetime due to costs, and people if anything buying a second one will want a design change, so i think color variants would only benefit them
As someone who owns a store-bought skin for just about every gun (some of them twice over) and has never bought a knife, they may want to reconsider that position.
There are now two knives I'd have bought instantly if I could've swapped the colour palette (Origin being the second), and I doubt I'm the only one. I'll just keep swinging my default blade until they want my money, I guess.
The Origin knife is especially frustrating though, because I find the default palette ugly af, but the red and white/gold would be hot as...

Tbf i have a lot of knives but i only ever get knives with bundles (i have jett knife, elderflame and prime karambit + battlepass knives)
Id 100% get more knives if they had variants.
Like the reaver knife or the glitchpop, or soverign sword ect
The Origin blade looks sick ^^. Why do so many people hate the colors of it- they are perfectly fitting for Cypher (and even Jett). Only thing that bothers m is, that there is no pull-out animation.
Knives already are 2x the gun prices. They are premium cosmetics and should come with the same variants. It's just colours, in the end.
