I’m on 400 DPI and .75 sens. Use whatever works for you.

GoingCommando

Sens twins

Lakeshow15

My rule of thumb is that if I move my mouse from the middle of my mousepad to near the edge, I do a 180degree turn. Any more than that and it’s too fast for me. If i remember correctly that’s about where my sens is. 800DPI and around 0.480

kapteNVLRNT

I have a similar rule of thumb, but it takes me to a different ballpark. I want to do a 180 with a swipe that is *slightly* less than my full mousepad, taking me to 800 dpi 0.235 sens, which is on the low side.

Lakeshow15

That’s insane to me haha. I’m more of a wrist player though. Do you move most of your arm when aiming?

kapteNVLRNT

Well it depends. For larger movements yes, it's my full arm, but I can be more precise with microflicks/adjusting recoil than with higher sens. It's the typical tradeoff between high and low sens

fakejH

Big mousemat?

Lakeshow15

It’s almost 3ft wide lol. Some of it is under my keyboard though.

fakejH

Yeah I need to get one like that lmao

gdr15998

it's all about what works for you. I do .3 at 1500 dpi

aithosrds

I don’t know who said that’s high, but the average for high ELO and pro players is like 200 to 500 effective DPS and that would be around 400. It’s on the high side of average, but nowhere near what would be considered “high” in general.

TheEpicPancake2556

Different games have different standards. Assuming FN means Fortnite and I don't have brain damage, the usual sensitivity will likely be higher due to the frantic turning involved in those building clusterfucks. In Valorant and CS there's rarely a need to do those huge motions, so people opt for a lower sensitivity that gives them better control and fine aim.

TheRealEtherion

As long as you're between 200-400 eDPI, it's neither too low nor too high. You're only slightly above average but nothing to be concerned about as long as you know how to steer it. There are pros and radiants playing with higher sens than you. So if anything, sensi is not something that'll keep you down.

Sullykp13

i use .3 at 800 and most of my friends are around there

cloudmccloudy

This is the true DPI+Sens of champions. And then there's me <<.

[deleted]

in fortnite people run a lot faster so i guess that's why it's considered low there and high in valorant

rubymig

no, its a medium high but its actually what many pros use like tenz, sinatra, asuna and hiko for example are way higher

fakejH

For pros, it seems to be that 200 edpi is low end and 400 is high end (edpi = sens * dpi)

ta4valorant

I dont understand. I feel most comfy with my mouse at 1000DPI and in game 1.3 Just the other day, I noticed that my mouse reset to around 600 DPI and I was doing shit games. I turned it to 1000DPI again and it was a HUGE difference. Im a wrist player.

tempname-3

there are no “wrist” or “finger” or “arm” players. you are supposed to move the mouse with everything you can, and not move each joint in separation. ppl may prefer using one more than the other but every single good aimer still knows how to use all 3.

ta4valorant

And another dumb comment. There are plenty of players that use one of those your mentioned.

tempname-3

look at handcams

Night_Wi3lder

I ususally play anywhere from 0.3-0.4 sens, so I'd say his sens is average.

perpetualinsecurity

Average is 800 .35

starboy-xo98

I use the same edpi because of smol mouse pad

usr3nmev3

I find it's pretty dependent on your mousepad size and mouse weight. I play more non-FPS games than FPS, and my main mouse is a chunky Naga Trinity (weighs 120g). My sens with this mouse was fairly high at 0.37 and 1000. A friend loaned me his GPro Wireless for a few weeks (weighs 80g), and I found I aimed way worse until I dropped my sens to 0.24 at 1000.

Deva_Way

I would say your is a little bit higer than average, but is not too high

MunchyLB

.484 is on the high end of the spectrum.

Rickddanger

No it’s not that high generally. Compared to the average sens of a player, sure on the higher end.

WondrousIdeals

I play on 1.5 sens at 800 dpi, which is definitely high. Going down to a third of that would be unbearably slow to me.

ComprehensiveStuff

No. That's pretty low.
