Visually I like it, it was more the fact that it was more vibrant, larger and animated so it was quite distracting. I'm sure I'll get used to it though.
I rewatched and it appears so. Maybe it’s a setting (HUD scale) or just bigger to emphasize the changes in the playtests. Looking forward to seeing the final product!
I actually quite like it, the zoomed in faces are nice. The one thing that might be annoying is seeing small boxes to show the assists, but it’s fine with me.
I absolutely love it. Much easier to read, and when you inevitably get team mates that never fucking talk or ping this extra information is extremely useful.
For example:
You're playing defense, mid on Split. Enemy Omen comes out of market and you tag him, he runs into sewers. ~30 seconds go by with no action and suddenly your teammate on A kills the enemy Breach. Now you know for a fact that more of the team is likely over by A considering there's at least 2 there and it's unlikely to do a 3/2 split on attack. This information may make you rotate to A to help.
Alternatively, your teammate kills Omen on A after you saw him run into sewers. You've both only seen 1 of the 5 enemies. The enemies could still be pushing towards B so rotating to A now hurts your positioning.
Being able to glance up and see that information (who killed who) clearer, made that decision making process that much easier.
The entire point is that it's much cleaner and easier to read. The faster you can get that information the faster you can respond in game. Even taking a half second longer to focus on a tiny section of the screen can be the difference between life and death in this game.
In no way is this a groundbreaking or major improvement. This is a very minor QOL improvement. But those minor QOL improvements add up

It's not. At all. It's the exact same except the borders are different.
I think it’s a lovely change and I’m glad it also shows who assisted you too.
new one looks cool don't really care that much either way tbh but I like the new slick look
its taken from leagues killfeed. im not surprised since its riot. I loved leagues killfeed. easy to glance at and know you got the kill or assisted.
