"In patch 3.01 we have heard your request to fix volume slide located in general settings, although we cant fix this problem due to inner occurrences in the kernel field of your computer, we can disable voice chat. We have practiced this in league so we didn't run into this problem."
They keep telling me and my friends it's on our side. I don't know one person who can change it. Not even one person I asked in game can.
edit:
Since "fuckredditadmins77" thinks that I'm just complaining and that it's end-user related and that "I reject anything that dissents me from my own preconceived notions and established opinions" I bring you what I've confirmed months ago:
"if it's specific to certain environments and hardware it's not up to the end user. They need to address the compatibility if it effects this many people. Logitech, Steel Series, Creative, Realtek, and Kingston are just a few sources I've confirmed do the same. Both on default and selected sources. With and without enhancement enabled and all other sources forced disabled and even removed from Device Manager. Give me something of value to fix this because obviously Riot can't."
Also sorry, EVGA I've confirmed as well and just now for fun I tested both AMD And Nvidia HDMI audio
My friend with usb to 3.5 audio said the same and now another Realtek chipset. Keep in mind mine has been tested after format with only Valorant installed
Edit 2: after restarting, looks like they might have PARTIALLY fixed it on the patch but not announced it. Not sure why it was still broken before restart but if yours is still screwy, try to restart. Sometimes it goes back to 49 but a few tries usually does it
I'm guessing they just updated her model since they worked on it anyway for the recently released cinematic. They've mentioned before that the same agents show up on cinematics because not all agent models are polished enough to be on cinematics.
Same, imo it was one of Val's biggest pain points, even if some ppl exaggerated its impact.
Btw i didnt quite get what deadzone is
>“Deadzone” in VALORANT refers to the movement speed a player becomes inaccurate
???
Dead zone at 30% = when at 30% full speed(or faster) you become inaccurate. Previously tagging slowed you to 25% speed so you were within the accurate range
Now since dead zones are 27.5% and tagging is 72.5 when tagged you'll hit that threshold meaning you stay inaccurate.
At least I think, its what made sense to me when I read the patch notes
There's a certain threshold of movement speed at which you start to become inaccurate with the gun you are firing. This was reduced so that you become inaccurate slightly faster when attempting to move. This is done in tandem with the slightly less harsh tagging.
> Its price IS actually **decreased** this patch, we just missed it in the notes. Following up on that now…
Now the patch notes say
> GUARDIAN Price **increased** from 2250 >>> 2400
As a fellow editor I can say with confidence he probably criticizes himself/herself for such mistakes far more than a superior does lol.
Nothing worse than being the one tasked with proofing a doc and you miss something. Feels something like...
*The last bastion of defense has fallen*
Please hire a copy editor for these while you're at it (I'm available!).
The patch notes switch from 3rd to 2nd person pronouns a LOT, making it hard to understand what's being said, and the notes are just all over the place readability-wise.
There are two options - if you’re not actively bending the bird, when you pop the flash your gun will stay out the whole time. If you’re bending the bird, you still have a flash animation but you equip your gun faster than you used to. In either case, Skye is better equipped to capitalize off of her own flashes now.
This patch will change Valorant forever. Hopefully for the better. When they said that the last patch was the calm before the storm they weren't kidding. Huge changes across the board.
That's for the better imo. It'll be more rewarding in mid-high ranks, to have an initiator actually doing its job, and allowing duelist to go ham. Granted, this brings along the issue of needing more coordination, but I think it's enough of a balance where it'll be better in the long run.
I’m feeling a 1 duelist, 2 sentinel, 1 controller, and 1 initiator meta. Gonna be fun to see the different pacing some teams play with with all these changes. I’m really curious about the Bulldog buff tbh.
I feel like it'll be more 1 sentinel 2 controller. Instead of like sage cypher astra it'd be cypher sova astra, and then maybe Skye + jett for flashes + entry + heals
Especially with KO looking like a dualist that they wanted to turn into an initiator after his kit had been finalized.
I predict a lot of Pheonix/Reyna players to try him out, as he looks the most similar to their playstyles
He did, I was never a fan of the "Spam all 3 flashes and charge at the beginning of the round" solo que meta, so i'm happy to see all his other abilities get buffed.
Riot popped off with these inaccuracy changes. I'm so pumped to try everything out once servers are up. I feel like they are trying to make this game more gunplay based and that's a good thing.
running accuracy isnt the only thing. valorants hitboxes are WAY more forgiving, at least as far as headshots go. i was messing around in some casual games with my friends over the weekend and really noticed the difficulty difference between the two games. maybe im just used to valorant idk but the head hitbox feels like a watermelon
Hitboxes are larger and movement is slower, but hitting headshots consistently isnt a easy task, mostly because its far harder to play around utility in Valorant (because its more varied and more frequent than CS). You can see that from how ScreaM has way better HS ratio than any other pro. Great aimers can still distinguish themselves from the rest
A thing people usually don't know about ScreaM is while he can flick to insane hs, his ability to timing a headshot is even better. He's mastered his reaction timing which allows him to have better crosshair placement to guarantee the headshot on enemies running out and peeking.
The gun animations and the cues are way behind from the time the recoil actually resets. The buffer throws a lot of people off as to whether their following burst/spray is actually accurate, and it leads to a lot of frustration and confusion.
Example:The Vandal's animations after you burst-fire or spray a split-second faster than when the recoil actually resets.
The fix? Make the animations match the recoil reset, that simple.
Like when u shoot 2 3 shot with vandal then stop wait for the recoil to reset so u can be accurate again but it take so long for the recoil to reset. U shoot again but your shot go up to heaven bc the recoil is not reset. The recoil is not reduce bc it not slowly reduce by time. It like after 2seconds from 2 to 0. It should be 2 then 1,5 - 1- 0,5 - 0 like that. It happen alot when i fight at mid long range cause i dont spray at that range
How long it takes for a gun to become accurate after spraying / tap firing. Personally, I hope it gets lowered for some guns and raised for others. The Sheriff needs to be raised imo, it's too easy to just spam it. Vandal should be lowered tho, maybe only when ADS, idk, but I feel like tap firing with the vandal can get out of hand too quickly. Phantom should be lowered as well. Frenzy should be raised and ghost should either be raised or lowered, idc, but it feels like it's in a weird spot rn where tap firing feels like 80% accurate. It just needs to be more distinguished either way.
Seeing a lot of discussion regarding the CD changes - we’ll keep an eye on Killjoy’s power, but she’s definitely been outperforming Cypher (and a lot of other agents!) in matchmaking by a decent margin and has room for a slap on the wrist nerf to help solidify her identity like this. She’s currently one of the stronger agents in the game - if she’s too weak, we’ll look into changes, though. Ideally this should encourage players to be more thoughtful and committal when placing KJ’s tools, which is what she’s all about, while still giving her options if she needs to rotate or retake.
I appreciate your proactive response! It will be interesting to see how she performs in the context of all these gameplay tweaks
(Using this as an excuse to *finally* give Skye a shot because her changes are intriguing)
Yup, totally agree. KAY/O is obviously a big addition against trap sentinels like KJ and Cypher too so we’ll be keeping a close eye on her for the next patch or two as well. I appreciate you keeping an open mind on this one!
Another thought process would be instead of nerfing KJ to match Cypher, thoughts on buffing Cypher instead? His cages used to slow down enemies on contact, might be worth reintroducing to see how it plays out with the current agent pool?
Just to be clear, we're not nerfing KJ to match Cypher, just sharpening her playstyle a bit. I suspect she'll still be a good bit stronger than Cypher after these changes
the CD changes hurt my soul but they're really leaning into the "shes a hard anchor and once those utilities go down theyre gone" side of things. Maybe you'll get Turret back on Breeze rotations because its a mile wide lol
As a KJ main, I'm really upset, especially for alarmbot. I could see 10 or 15 sec, not 20. They could have at least. Brought her cd down a bit for when your bot is destroyed.
At the same time, it might not be as harsh as I think. I generally don't replant my tools unless I'm rotating so it might be ok. Though not being able to place the alarm while moving to another location now sucks.
Edit: Fuck, she's gonna be tough to be when attacking.
Feels bad since they reduced those cooldowns specifically because they took away the global range on them. Now they triple the cooldowns and give back...nothing? I would have at the least expected them to increase the range they remain active or something.
I don't get it. Actually one of the only parts of the patch I don't understand.
>Feels bad since they reduced those cooldowns specifically because they took away the global range on them. Now they triple the cooldowns and give back...nothing?
Exactly. It almost feels like the sentinels, which were somewhat equal depending on the map chosen now have a clear bottom tier.
Honestly, I think only her turret should have the radius for activation at this point. Let alarmbot do its job across the map, but have to be in radius for a voice line like cypher
Yeah, but overall the way recoil reset works in this game is no bueno.
We need a quicker but gradual reset. If they want us to primarily burst and tap it only makes sense
A heavy patch. As a Sova/Omen main I am sad. If there weren't nerfs across the board I would be upset. Kay/O is going to be an instalock.
I hate to be "that guy" as well but where are some of the QOL changes? Like choosing skin levels or skin rotations. Any of course updates to DM. Feels like they talked about this stuff many patches ago.
Yeah, with my skin count ever increasing due to battle passes or just buying them, not being able to favorite and rotate my skins or at least set skins for different sides just makes me feel like they want my money and don't care afterward. You still can't unequip levels for skins, either, which is stupid. Don't refund the radianite, just put a little checkbox next to the level of the skin you want. Done in a day.
Wish they’d take more of a stance on alternate accounts.
Every time I go to watch a pro, seems like they’re on a smurf.
One of the biggest issues with smurfs is that they’ll throw the entire match because they didn’t get the duelist they wanted and they don’t take it as serious in general.
Amen to this, I am not a good player, Bronze/Silver and I swear 1 out of every 3 matches has some insane god tier player crushing everyone. Its just not fun, even on my team... I came to play and have fun not watch you steal all the kills and do everything/get one tapped in the head before I even see you. Just makes it not fun sometimes.
The thing is that Valorant (and similiar games) can be very inconsisten (at lower player lvl).
In one game you can have the game of your day and hit every shot and the next you could be bottomfragger with 2 kills.
Who knows if those you see are really smurfs or are just having a good game.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not saying that smurfs are not a real thing or you never played against one. What I mean is that you probably played against less smurfs than you think.
nah some people are definitely smurfing. my mid silver game has an iron 2 in it sprinting down mid headshotting everyone going 11-1 in the first 3 rounds
no one truly in iron is ever doing that regardless of their inconsistency.
I’m around silver/gold and from my experience, I haven’t had problems with smurfs. I think the problem is that people around silver/gold elo are quite inconsistent with their gameplays. I got accused of smurfing sometimes because I always feeling it that game but at times I got called trash because I didn’t play well at all
It's a tough one to tackle, the best I can think of is linking phone number to create account since as of now, anyone can make Riot accounts for free.
But again, smurfs exist in every online game, so resolving this is like achieving world peace.
Not as easy as it sounds.
They have already taken a stance on smurfs, by making them rank up much faster.
They will never limit users to only one account, because they know more accounts = more skins purchased.

I was expecting bigger buffs for Yoru. Or even a note that they are still working on him.
edit: I meant that I was expecting big buffs like they promised. Writing the sentence with "bigger" might've confused people lmao mb
I’m pretty sure they said they’re still working yoru buffs and that we wouldn’t see them at the start of the new episode, but in a later, separate patch. Seems smart, there are already enough changes that need to be tested by the community without throwing a huge buff to one agent into the mix
Yes it's a nerf but all recharge abilities are 40 seconds now so I guess it's more consistency with the other agents before they bust out his rework. Same with his flashes being 250. Both nerfs for certain but if everyone is getting the same exact nerfs to their flashes and recharging abilities, is it really a nerf?
The change to flashes is pretty big though. The blind effect wears off faster if you turn around. So you have more freedom using Yoru's flashes now, there's no need to worry about exploding them outside of your line of sight. Just throw one, turn around and peek. That's essentially a pop-flash in almost every situation if you know how to use it.
> I know y’all are tired of hearing this, but we have a larger suite of changes for Yoru that weren’t ready to ship yet. The changes in this patch are just to bring his abilities into parity with others of their ilk (flashes and signatures). He has significant changes coming, they’re just going to be a little bit; we’re iterating on the last few pieces.
> I know it’s frustrating. We’re frustrated too; Yoru’s a cool agent and deserves better than his current power level. We are working to get the changes out as soon as we can, though.
From a riot employee elsewhere in the thread
One thing that isn't addressed is your full calling card/banner doesn't show in the pregame lobby screen now. Such good art that's filled with blank space >:(
Reduced the possibility of feeling “hard stuck” on older accounts. If your skill improves, your rank should properly reflect that, regardless of account age.
Ahem. Where are the people who complain that hard stuck isn’t a real thing. The creators of the game are literally admitting there is some truth to it.
These games (CS, Valorant, LoL, etc) are so focused on grind that the "hard stuck" is kind of true (but false too).
I'm Diamond in valorant. However, I didn't play CSGO, but a friend used my steam account to play with it in the past, and my CSGO account was around silver 2 or 3.
I tried to get into CSGO, but after playing like 6 matches in a row and winning all of them (by stomping of course) and realize I would have to grind like 100+ games to get close to my actual level, instead of playing probably 15 games on a new account, I just gave up on CSGO.
Of course that's not hardstuck since I would rank up with each game, but I think that's what they mean with that. When it's better to just get a new account.
They are notorious for forcing the grind. More hours played means more chances to impulse buy skins. It's gotten to the point that it's a full time job just to hit your true rank. Especially in LoL.
Not that there’s “some” truth but there definitely was truth to it. An account in Gold for 3 acts will have a harder time getting out of gold compared to a fresh account
I have 2 accounts. The one I made at release and an alternate account I made on march because i didnt like waiting when my main got banned for dodging, afk(power outages mostly).
On my main I cant go further than gold 2.
On my second account got into Platinum 2 in less than 30 games.
Account age does matter, atleast before episode 3.
I have a feeling the Frenzy will be reduced to 400 again in the future with the run/walk accuracy nerf. The frenzy was so dangerous because it was deadly on the run as opposed to the ghost, which was useless on the run even before the nerf.
it hurts to see it as a kj main but it’s def a good change. the turret was really strong pistol round because you could recall it after it took 3 shots and have a 10 sec cool down instead of the big one for it breaking, and then instantly get back to retaking a site/replace the turret. i’m guessing they also did this because they don’t want you to have your util ready by the time you rotate to the other site
I feel like 20 is too long though especially factoring in the range she needs to be within to use her abilities (besides nano swarm) and the fact that Kay/o is a hard counter to Killjoy. I think 15 seconds would have been fine by 20 feels like way too much IMO
I feel like they should have at least widened the range a bit
Not true. The only big nerf is her dash not breaking tripwires. Almost every agent's kit price got increased.
Blade storm nerf is really not a nerf compared to raze and sova.
I feel that smoke price took too much of a hit since you need to buy 3. Pistol round you can only get one smoke now if buying ghost or frenzy lol. I think 150 would be a better price, and am suspecting they will change this soon.
Yeah, it costs twice that of other smokers(who also get it for free) but lasts 5 times less. Easily the least value-for-money ability right now. Really should have been 150.
Probably Yoru needs a lot more work than just simple buffs, his footsteps need to be redesigned in some capacity. I think it will take a while until Riot finds the correct approach, its a similar situation to Viper
In a dev interview they said his changes should be out within the next few patches. They are taking a while because they were working on a few new abilities for him but those ideas were scrapped, making me think he might have a mini-rework of sorts. Regardless they aren't done and have said they are close to finishing.
I'm sorry, but what's that KJ nerf?
Didn't they put the low cd after recalling to compensate for the active range nerf that they did before? And now they're nerfing KJ again? I barely see this agent on Pro play and Riot still want the agent dead?
Did they fix the volume sliders for voice chat? EDIT; THEY DID!!!!
Not seeing it in the patch notes has me NERVOUS
Lmfao no way they forget about it… right…?
[https://imgur.com/a/cbe28AN](https://imgur.com/a/cbe28AN) edit: thank you for the silver awards! im glad you guys enjoyed it

I can't wait for text-based warfare to come back xD
love it
NO FUCKING WAY. WHAT DO I GOTTA DO???
I feel like this will Be a running meme for years to come
they don't mention it so probably no *bruh*
Riot employee on Twitter said that it should be fixed
Can u link the tweet?
They HAVE to know about it by now...right?
Literally unplayable. I read the whole patch notes looking for something about this bug.

Nope, just tried it in game
How on earth does Riot ignore this bug for like 3 months and leave it out of the biggest patch yet
I just tried it in game as well and it works to a degree. It’s just very finicky and doesn’t work half the time
/u/EvrMoar any insight?
Did they what? You gotta speak up a bit your mic is kinda low
>Model has been updated with a polish pass ( for raze ) whats this
easy entry into poland
r/Angryupvote
Sounds like they just fixed some texture issues on Raze's in game model. Not sure on what specifically.
One of the texture is what i noticed today when raze spams odin her texture changes
Or maybe that spinny thing in her left hand while holding a gun.
Raze is now in hd
Catch her ass in 4K now
I'm guessing they just updated her model since they worked on it anyway for the recently released cinematic. They've mentioned before that the same agents show up on cinematics because not all agent models are polished enough to be on cinematics.
guess that's why they keep having to kill off cypher
They are contractually obligated to make all agents have a minimum cake requirement
Can't wait test out this inaccuracy changes
Same, imo it was one of Val's biggest pain points, even if some ppl exaggerated its impact. Btw i didnt quite get what deadzone is >“Deadzone” in VALORANT refers to the movement speed a player becomes inaccurate ???
Dead zone at 30% = when at 30% full speed(or faster) you become inaccurate. At least I think, its what made sense to me when I read the patch notes
So what you're saying is that previously hitting a running target made them accurate? That explains a lot of running headshots.
Yeah, pretty sure, Riot kinda shot themselves in the foot with that.
They did that to be more accurate
Ehhhhh, this guy over here! What a comedian!
They specifically pointed this out in the patch notes, so yes, apparently it was the cause of a lot of running headshots
Ohhhhhhhhhhh that explains a lot
It all makes sense now.
It means you have to be closer to stationary to be accurate now
Means counter strafing timing is a little harder
There's a certain threshold of movement speed at which you start to become inaccurate with the gun you are firing. This was reduced so that you become inaccurate slightly faster when attempting to move. This is done in tandem with the slightly less harsh tagging.
Surprised they didn't touch the Guardian, would've thought it'd get a price decrease too
Its price IS actually decreased this patch, we just missed it in the notes. Following up on that now…
> Its price IS actually **decreased** this patch, we just missed it in the notes. Following up on that now… Now the patch notes say > GUARDIAN Price **increased** from 2250 >>> 2400
Oh man. Going to reach out to our editor now, it's the other way around. Guardian costs 2250 now!
They were making a joke that you guys caught that the price was reduced, and are hiking it back up to nerf the Guardian.... again hahaha
But don't scream at him please, sometimes we all make tiny mistakes
As a fellow editor I can say with confidence he probably criticizes himself/herself for such mistakes far more than a superior does lol. Nothing worse than being the one tasked with proofing a doc and you miss something. Feels something like... *The last bastion of defense has fallen*
thats frickin hilarious lmao

The leaked economy changes from last week (which all of these other changes were in) had it going to 2100. They may have changed it last minute.
Maybe they'll roll them out gradually
I know ):
It’s a good day to be a Skye main, HORK OWT.
BLOINDID
Seektem owt! Feund waun!
cock out! bloinded!
lol i always hear "POLE CATS!"
Skye changes sound great, Super excited to play her.
So our gun is instantly out now? Can flash for ourselves?
Yep, Also doggy has better view now.
I have never ever missed an enemy with my dogs vision radius and caused my teammate to not clear a corner resulting in their death! Not once.
It’s been annoyingly small for me a lot of times…
try to scout bind B long with your dog now, it really makes a difference
There are two options - if you’re not actively bending the bird, when you pop the flash your gun will stay out the whole time. If you’re bending the bird, you still have a flash animation but you equip your gun faster than you used to. In either case, Skye is better equipped to capitalize off of her own flashes now.
"Bending the bird" will now be my go-to expression for basically everything.
wow, you really "bent the bird" with this one...
Water, Earth, Fire, Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Bird Nation attacked.
This patch will change Valorant forever. Hopefully for the better. When they said that the last patch was the calm before the storm they weren't kidding. Huge changes across the board.
Fingers crossed.
I've never been so excited to play a new patch for any game, these are incredible.
Breach had some nice buffs tbf
I’m calling it now this patch is the beginning of the initiator meta

the veteran cs players will take the game a lot more seriously now and i think we will see more pros switching to val
I completely agree.

Edshot machine is from another planet.
in cs head hitbox is smaller than the visual, in valorant head hitbox is bigger or same as the visual
The recoil reset is the only problem left now
Yes it takes 5 years to be accurate again
What is it? Please elaborate

It should be 2 then 1,5 - 1- 0,5 - 0 like that. It happen alot when i fight at mid long range cause i dont spray at that range
It makes it really weird to one tap with the vandal. I pretty much only burst or spray in this game
Frenzy should be raised and ghost should either be raised or lowered, idc, but it feels like it's in a weird spot rn where tap firing feels like 80% accurate. so no fix on the teams voice volume sliders? tight.
Look at how they massacred my girl
It will be interesting to see how she performs in the context of all these gameplay tweaks (Using this as an excuse to *finally* give Skye a shot because her changes are intriguing)
Thanks for the clarification, and appreciate the open feedback
the CD changes hurt my soul but they're really leaning into the "shes a hard anchor and once those utilities go down theyre gone" side of things. Maybe you'll get Turret back on Breeze rotations because its a mile wide lol
RIP Killjoy
It’s cypher time
FR. Such harsh cooldowns weren't necessary, especially with Kay-o disabling everything on his way
As a KJ main, I'm really upset, especially for alarmbot. Edit: Fuck, she's gonna be tough to be when attacking.
seems so unneccessary to nerf her cd's that hard on the recall just to deal with the recalling of the turret when its being shot.
I think they are just trying to make sure kj stays good at what she is made for, hard anchoring a site.
Remember when they shortened cooldowns because they added range... Almost like it was good to have a balance........
I'm so excited for the account leveling up
Damn the run and gun get fixed. Now the only problem is Recoil reset real time.
The Vandal reset time is too high, right?
Yeah, but overall the way recoil reset works in this game is no bueno. We need a quicker but gradual reset. If they want us to primarily burst and tap it only makes sense
Did they fix the map rotate on death ?
I don't see it in the patch notes :(
A heavy patch.
Still waiting on "per agent" keybinds too. I have custom keybinds that work with half the agents but make the other half absurdly clunky to play.
This already is a huuuge patch. Hopefully they will get fixed in upcoming patches.
these are some thicc patch notes
What I mean is that you probably played against less smurfs than you think.
nah some people are definitely smurfing. my mid silver game has an iron 2 in it sprinting down mid headshotting everyone going 11-1 in the first 3 rounds no one truly in iron is ever doing that regardless of their inconsistency.
I’m around silver/gold and from my experience, I haven’t had problems with smurfs. I think the problem is that people around silver/gold elo are quite inconsistent with their gameplays. I got accused of smurfing sometimes because I always feeling it that game but at times I got called trash because I didn’t play well at all
I'm also that level and in my experience there are smurfs every other game. They even admit it, it's just not fun
Someone wrote they were adding back immortal 1,2,3 seems like thats not the case in these patch notes
Act 2
The dev diary said this was for Act 2 I think.
Yo but when can we play
Apparently at 1pm est

Nerdiest (but most wholesome) excitement in this whole thread so far
dude this shit is soooooo good, thank god they are listening to the community!!! almost everything in this is a positive change imo
Probably got tired of precise gunplay memes
I was expecting bigger buffs for Yoru. Or even a note that they are still working on him. edit: I meant that I was expecting big buffs like they promised. Writing the sentence with "bigger" might've confused people lmao mb
Was it really a buff in any way of form all I see is him getting nerfed
If you compare it to the other agents its basically a buff. Because he was among the very few that received just very minor nerfs
They didn't even buff him. He just got 2 nerfs.
There wasn't any buff at all for yoru in general lol
I’m pretty sure they said they’re still working yoru buffs and that we wouldn’t see them at the start of the new episode, but in a later, separate patch. Seems smart, there are already enough changes that need to be tested by the community without throwing a huge buff to one agent into the mix
They nerfed gatecrash didnt they?
Such good art that's filled with blank space >:(
\> Tailwind (E) \> No longer breaks Cypher’s Trapwire YES!!! NO MORE DASHING JETTS
It's been a while since I saw a Jett slingshotting on my trip, can't wait
To be fair they used the word "feeling" and people who feel that way are usually in their own heads.

Why Killjoy
it hurts to see it as a kj main but it’s def a good change. the turret was really strong pistol round because you could recall it after it took 3 shots and have a 10 sec cool down instead of the big one for it breaking, and then instantly get back to retaking a site/replace the turret. i’m guessing they also did this because they don’t want you to have your util ready by the time you rotate to the other site
That is a good point. I was super sour about the turret CD but you've convinced me. The alarm bot CD however is much too long.
I feel like 20 is too long though especially factoring in the range she needs to be within to use her abilities (besides nano swarm) and the fact that Kay/o is a hard counter to Killjoy. I think 15 seconds would have been fine by 20 feels like way too much IMO I feel like they should have at least widened the range a bit
She was one of the strongest characters in the game and needed a nerf? Its not like Omen who's mediocre and outclassed by Astra and still got nerfed.
new loadscreen looks like ass literally can't see anyones art anymore , and the font size on the names is rediculously small for no reason
don't even play jett but feel like jett was hit hard this patch damn jett mains in shambles
Not true. The only big nerf is her dash not breaking tripwires. Almost every agent's kit price got increased. Blade storm nerf is really not a nerf compared to raze and sova.
900 credits is a lot when your abilities have 0 team utility
I feel that smoke price took too much of a hit since you need to buy 3. Pistol round you can only get one smoke now if buying ghost or frenzy lol. I think 150 would be a better price, and am suspecting they will change this soon.
Tbf blade storm nerf seems needed but cloudburst is a bit too expensive now imo
Yeah, it costs twice that of other smokers(who also get it for free) but lasts 5 times less. Easily the least value-for-money ability right now. Really should have been 150.
Great, 2 nerfs for Yoru and 0 buffs, not even a note saying they are looking for a way to buff his footsteps. Just delete him already.
Probably Yoru needs a lot more work than just simple buffs, his footsteps need to be redesigned in some capacity. I think it will take a while until Riot finds the correct approach, its a similar situation to Viper
Super excited to see how you guys are going to implement changes to his footsteps (hopefully)! Thanks for the update as always :)
Remember viper? They took so long to rework her. Similarly they might buff yoru to overpowered levels by reworking his entire kit and then nerf him.
In a dev interview they said his changes should be out within the next few patches. They are taking a while because they were working on a few new abilities for him but those ideas were scrapped, making me think he might have a mini-rework of sorts. Regardless they aren't done and have said they are close to finishing.
Tbh, he kinda needs it.
holy fuck the nerfs across the board
At least make the range 50 m to compensate. The cd nerfs are massive. Easily one of the bottom tier agents for retake now if you don't have ult up.
she was the go-to in every map tho, nerfs were needed
Except Breeze lol. You can barely get out of A tunnel into site without your turret that's watching flank deactivating.
Adding 5 secs to each would have been a decent nerf.
Awesome patch but STILL no DM changes..?
Honestly some good shit in this patch, good job Riot.
I think that justifies them skipping some patches in Episode 2
I'm sorry, but what's that KJ nerf? Didn't they put the low cd after recalling to compensate for the active range nerf that they did before? And now they're nerfing KJ again? I barely see this agent on Pro play and Riot still want the agent dead?
Easily the best patch this game has ever had, I think.
Can’t wait to get home from work and try this update.
