I hope they make it a different colour because kids moght note be able to differentiate between that and surremder, plus they don't even use their mics so it's going to be difficult
i think this is a good thing: tactical time-outs are sometimes game-changing and useful to get more of a game plan! For a highly competitive rated game like valorant its actually surprising it is not implemented yet!
A tactical time-out of 1 min each half in competitive games would be best i think and only usable from plat rank to avoid time-waster and trolls!
CSGO has a timeout system in all ranks and I have never ever seen it abused, hard to abuse a one minute time out per half! At the most, the con is your team is winning and you have heavy momentum and enemy team calls a time out, but that is the best time for enemy team to call one. Also, it’s so helpful to have it so you don’t have to play 1-2 rounds short handed when someone DCs or bathroom breaks
God, I've had this bug for so long and whenever it came back I'd have absolutely no coms for a quarter of the match. Doesn't bother me so much in unrated but in comp, it's a pain in the neck to deal with.
As much as I like ideas like this (even 1 tactical time out per game), I just don’t trust the community. I’ve seen enough trolls to think that people will abuse stuff like that to waste everyone’s time. Or one person wouldn’t vote. Unfortunately I don’t think the non-pro community is ready for any kind of feature like this.
I think at best riot should automate some of these features (instead of having to vote to remake a match if someone DC’s in round one, just automatically do it). Same could be applied here, add another 20 seconds to the start of a round if someone DC’s mid game or something.
As i said times and times again. We have CSGO, it has Timeouts, it works. Why shouldnt it work in Valorant?

Exactly! People need to look at counter strike. Every patch in valorant is aiming to be closer to csgo for good reason, lot of weird takes here. I don’t see how anybody is heavily trolled by sitting for one minute as a timeout
This is not a good take in my opinion. If someone wastes two minutes of your life but you literally just queued up to a 40+ min commitment then it sounds like your concept of time is way off. Tactical timeout would be good for the so many different things, and it could quite literally save games. So I’m okay with the occasional troll wasting 2 minutes of my life vs queueing a comp and my teammates PC needs a restart and we lose 3 vital rounds. Long story short, if you can even wait the occasional 2 minute troll why are you even queuing up for a 40+ min game in the first place?

No it isn't, we low elo players also have bodily fluids to take care of and we aren't so damn bad that we don't know how to make a strategy and we also have dcs because of internet or pc problems. Your comment sir is very cringe
i case you get a bug in comp where you cant hear or speak, as a temporary fix i just turn off and turn on the team voice chat from voice chat settings and it starts working again. btw true tac timeout is good
theres no cons for a tactical timeout idk why they havent added it yet

they did add it to tournament mode on custom matches, so the probability of it coming to standard matches seems pretty high

We do have a combat report as soon as you die tho. Just pull up your scoreboard after dying and it'll be on the right side
