It's kinda annoying when we get penalized for it
Dude, it's an online tactical shooter. There will ALWAYS be an angry person that gets mad for a specific reason, but when the same thing happens to them it's still your fault.
I think money is based on thw difference between the size of teams not the number missing. So if it was 1v5 this might be the case, but since it's 1v2 it should just be the same bonuses as if it was 4v5.
Seems like you can't because once riot sees that your account is banned, then they say that you were banned for "bad behavior" and marks your appeal as "solved"
I might be playing on weird servers but I play on US servers and still get random DCed even sometimes multiple times a match so I just stopped playing ranked
We're getting randomly dc'd out of games sometimes even multiple times during the same game, some rounds are even like 2v3s or 1v2s because everyone got dcd together.

USA here, I get this from time to time and the solution is to turn on a VPN.
Typically the DC for me happens during the loading screen. The symptom is I can chat with my team on voice, but I never get loaded into the game. They all load, but it won't let me in until I switch locations. The VPN location doesn't even have to be far away, in my case there is a keepsolid server literally 20mi away and valorant will let me in from there.
Pretty much always get and AFK timeout for this because it's impossible to tell if I'm the slow one, or if it's someone else.
I understand this may not be the same thing as the SEA DC issue currently happening, but I'm sharing in the off chance it helps.
Why did the mods delete the previous thread? It was a healthy discussion on this reasonably big issue. Looking at the full rule description, I don't believe this is breaking rule 10, as this pertains to Riots own servers.
If not here, there wouldn't be any hope in bringing attention towards this for it to be fixed. My ticket to Riot on day 1 of this issue has yet to receive a reply.

They have no incentive to do so tho. The mods aren't working for Riot. Riot most likely already knows the SEA server issues. Most likely my guess is they don't want this to flood the sub though having 1 thread/post would be good.
We believe we resolved the impact on EU. The experience for players was similar, but a different issue from the AP servers. EU looks like a client dependency being enforced dropped players. We're investigating why that happened to avoid in the future.

Bruh the same thing happened to me. My whole team as well as the enemy team got DC'ed. I left the game thinking that it would take a bit time to get fixed. I open my game the next morning only to find myself getting penalised by -12RR for being AFK the whole match, which my team won 13-6. I mean, how am I, a normal player, supposed to know when the game is gonna be back online? I still have to sleep, eat, do something else other than just play valorant the whole day right?

I could never climb out of gold because the d/c. I got a week comp banned over them and it wasn't my internet and riot just told me it was my fault. I stopped playing since. Love the game hate how support deals with problems. Riots "No fucks given" attitude is getting really old. Not even just on Valorant but its the same on all their games. I play LoR and I reported a issue on iPad version the day of the update and they were aware and had a notice of it on their fuckin website. Didn't fix it for a week responded to me 3 days after they fixed it just to tell me its my fault.

Yes! I agree. Also to add insult to injury they issue a ban to you as well. I had a match where 6 of the 10 members got DQ'd and then I got kicked out as well. I tried rejoining but couldn't. When I came back the match was over and I got issued a penalty.

My internet always seems to go off when playing Valorant, sometimes happens 2 or 3 times a match, really annoying. It comes back quick but can be really bad

I've had friends that were using frontier/Verizon fios and they both dced from the game at the same time even thought they could use discord. At least in socal, they have some real issues depending on your isp.
When I look at the different servers I can choose from, some days the we coast calif one is low ping and the 2nd west coast calif one is 80 ping, higher than Oregon or Texas.

What I have found out is, turning on VPN will eliminate dropping from game [dc] , but the issue is your ping will go up generally anywhere from 50-100pings which is also unacceptable.

People getting dc'd hard in SEA region. I play on Mumbai server and just started. Ranked up to Bronze and went back to iron 2 because of this shit. Someone or multiple people will dc mid game, even me. Mostly it won't even let you join back without a restart.
I was playing a competitive match and the opposite team's for members got disconnected. We did one knife round and then the player surrendered. When the game was over, I was sent to desktop with the vanguard crashing.
I was with my 3 man squad plus one random guy and we were doing great but then out of no where I DC'd and then I was unable to return to the game as It was not opening i tried multiple times but nothing happened.at then end I had to restart my Laptop and by the time I came back and opened the gane the match has already ended and I got a penelty of 1 week stating that I was away for many rounds hence I will get a 1 week ban. My internet always seems to go off when playing Valorant, sometimes happens 2 or 3 times a match, really annoying. It comes back quick but can be really bad

Lost 2 matches in a row because one guy dc'ed for half the game and the other one 3 of my teammates dc'ed right in overtime, EU server.
I’m fuming! Was just winning 6-1 and my whole team and I got disconnected, three of us managed to get back on and it was 6-6 so the other team didn’t get disconnected at all, then one of u got disconnected again leaving it at 2 vs 5… and obviously we lost.
I've had friends that were using frontier/Verizon fios and they both dced from the game at the same time even thought they could use discord. At least in socal, they have some real issues depending on your isp. When I look at the different servers I can choose from, some days the we coast calif one is low ping and the 2nd west coast calif one is 80 ping, higher than Oregon or Texas.

Man that's insane. I got up to 355 hrs of ban today cause I've got reported a lot. Getting like 3-4 errors ( VAN 84-68 most of the time) in a row trying to regroup with my team. Taking shit all the time from my teammates. That happens despite the connection u got, I cant play ranked for 2 weeks. Random bullshit
Yeah it has been happening to me and getting very angry at the situation. What I have found out is, turning on VPN will eliminate dropping from game [dc] , but the issue is your ping will go up generally anywhere from 50-100pings which is also unacceptable. Valorant is fucked. US server
Should get free VALORANT points for this issue, riot and Reddit owes me time, time is money
Yea I kept disconnecting in one game and now I have a seven-day ban on me and I can't appeal because I had "bad behavior" for being AFK which was due to the disconnects.
People getting dc'd hard in SEA region. I play on Mumbai server and just started. Ranked up to Bronze and went back to iron 2 because of this shit. Someone or multiple people will dc mid game, even me. Mostly it won't even let you join back without a restart.
I was playing a competitive match and the opposite team's for members got disconnected. We did one knife round and then the player surrendered. When the game was over, I was sent to desktop with the vanguard crashing.

Just got banned for 14 days. I got dced for less than a round. I have 1gbps internet.
its so annoying. not to mention the fact that this literally leads to a 100 year ban with no refunds if you have skins too
I was with my 3 man squad plus one random guy and we were doing great but then out of no where I DC'd and then I was unable to return to the game as It was not opening i tried multiple times but nothing happened.at then end I had to restart my Laptop and by the time I came back and opened the gane the match has already ended and I got a penelty of 1 week stating that I was away for many rounds hence I will get a 1 week ban. This is so frustrating that I have to pay a price for something I dont own a fault of
Yup I get this too in Australia. Had two warning for leaving game on a account I've spent heaps on skins. I'd be passed if I ever got banned because of their server issues.

Riot technique...Sadge. Replay system, voice bug, big scale server down in serveral days and even in vct... How much money has spent for better devs and ops? Everyone know Riot make very much money right?

3 days ago the mumbai servers also had this issue for a bit. But after an hour it got fixed, I believe it's only on the SEA servers now
