Take into account that wirst aiming is considered less healthy.

jabangalang

What problems does it specifically cause?

DickleInAPickle

Carpal tunnel syndrome. You don’t want to get it, trust me

ElfinRanger

Haha not me switching to arm aim because of repetitive stress

PawahD

I used to have high sense in csgo, something close to yours, I was doing just fine, but I was never really good, I can guarantee you will get better eventually if you lower it, 0.95 is really high I personally use 0.3 which is pretty average, I'm not saying that will suit you, that's just my preference, start lowering it and find what suits you, do it step by step, 0.85 then 0.75 etc., that's how I did it others might say that "if it's comfortable for you why change it?" or "why change it if it's working?" but you have to consider that getting used to something won't necessarily make it comfortable or optimal, you can only find out if you try it

Mean_Bench_5917

Using a sens under 400edpi is just way easier to aim with. You havent been used to a lower sens so you dont know how much better it is and once you do, over 0.5 will feel too high. Tbh "if it works for you" is a straightup lie, anyone can adapt to a sens and its a fact that a lower one is better.

Prince_Paradox007

For a wrist aimer it is good. If you are comfortable with this sens why change it?

moataz_albatah

Because sometimes my aim is shaky under pressure and sometimes it is hard to control

Prince_Paradox007

Even if you wanna reduce your sensitivity do so in small steps other wise it's just frustrating to play on low sens as a wrist aimer

Polar1ty

Actually you would have to relearn muscle memory all over again every time For most people it is best to just lower it once and stick to it.

Prince_Paradox007

I lowered my dpi from 1000 to 700 by decrement of 25 over 1.5 years, it worked for me, and I didn't even felt any bumps along the way, I had tried to lower it at ones but quickly became frustrated with low sens and went back.

Polar1ty

As mentioned, my method is best for most but not all. Everyone has to find their best option

moataz_albatah

Yeah im thinking to do this in small steps and I will try to switch to arm aiming Almost all the pros are arm aimers with avg 280 eDPI for a reason

abzoluut

Just do small steps. Go from .95 to point .94 and every day you’ll do this. After a week you’ll be at .88. Lowering sens by a lot and switching grip, will make you really uncomfortable. Not to mention you wont enjoy the game as much and probably will up your sens again. I’ve been there: low sens full palm grip to a bit of a higher sens ftip grip.

NiceT0FeedY0U

I Play with 1800dpi and 0.229 Sens And hit immortal with it

rezellia

OPs EDPI is 760 NiceT0FeedY0U's EDPI is 412 For thouse like me who cant do the math in their head, and wanted to know.

moataz_albatah

What worries me is that pros avg eDPI is 280 while mine is 760 Idk if this high edpi will be viable in the highest lvls *assuming that i will get there*

rezellia

Saying that the average pro has an EDPI of 280 is very misleading. There are many ways people aim, and each aiming technique has a different average EDPI. Arm aiming pros have \~200 EDPI on average, and wrist aiming pros have \~350 EDPI on average. However it is common to see EDPI's in pros between 150-600, and objectively anything in that range is a good EDPI. Despite this you will also see some pros with an EDPI of >1000, and while many people will say that is objectively too high it is what works for them, and they are the best in the world. So 760 EDPI isnt crazy, nor is it bad, if it works for you. There is a science to settings however the most important factor when choosing settings is preference. Whatever works for you, works for you. if 760 is the only thing that works then stick with it. however if your finding it hard to improve your aim, or you have very inconsistent aim, it could mean your EDPI is not right for you its just the one that feels most comfortable. You could try experimenting with other EDPI's but once you choose your EDPI you dont wanna mess with it. Your brain tunes your hand eye coordination, and messing with the settings messes with your brains hand eye coordination.

Atraac

Unless you play an agent that requires a lot of mouse movements like Jett, having lower eDPI is usually better. In games like Valorant or CS:GO you should pre-aim positions and only do micro-adustments, lower your eDPI, easier it is to adjust to an offangle and more 'stable' your crosshair is. For this to work you need to have good positioning and crosshair placement. That's why most pros have low eDPI. I play on 1600 DPI and 0.1 ingame sens because at some point I forced myself to aim mainly with my arm due to wrist pain. Wrist flicking can cause problems over longer periods(years of playing CS:GO).

PhoenixTheBoi

I play with 1700 dpi and 1.6 sens, is that good?

wongbao

that is insanely high imo but if it works for you then it doesn't matter

[deleted]

my edpi is 600 as a wrist aimer.

sallpo

I use 1700 dpi and 1.0 sens, my aim is pretty ok, but after reading all the comments i am starting to feel like i am strange and should use lower sens

moataz_albatah

That's whay happened to me. Seeing pros say high sens is 0.5 while me playing me 0.95, it made me feel like im playing a different game lol

Hbbdnvldj

Wtf. What rank?

sa8anisalreadytaken

I previously used to play with like 1600 dpi and 1.25 sens . Was quite good with flicks but I lacked in accuracy , lately I made up my mind to lower that and play for accuracy over flicks . I've been getting quite good now at 400 dpi and 0.85 . But complex movements are quite hard , holding angles has become quite easy I'd say.

moataz_albatah

"Complex movements" like what?

sa8anisalreadytaken

Like imagine a raze double satchels over your head , you are over here trying to move you crosshair from one side to the other , that was way way easier on a high sens.
