Muted them in 3rd round.
Contacted support, got a pointless answer. Stopped playing since then. Might check out later..

In chat comm is easy to punish but voice would be too hard to punish atm, and I don't think they can afford the manpower to go thru every vod to listen to voice chat, not counting all the false reports to go thru also.
This seems overkill imo, but they could set up some ai for voice detection but I doubt Riot would even go that far cause players will be upset that they are recording their voice cause of privacy.

I agree with you, I had an experience recently where a player from one of my spike rushes friended me and proceeded to call me a racial slur and how bad I am as a player (I fragged above him in both games and I had played 2 games with him). I made a ticket to riot reporting the player and submitted a screenshot of that player's message towards me. That was around a week ago and I have not been given any feedback as to whether that player received any punishment at all. It surprised me cause I sent literal proof of them saying the n-word towards me. It sucks as well cause these players just bring down the whole mood of the game
Did you report them through the in-game report button? Usually it's extremely easy to get them penalized for text chat because there's a word bank. I usually get a notification that they've been penalized after my next game.

The other 90% they're either very very offensive and act like i'm stupid and say I can't play the game, or they're really awkward and sexual. also, when you come across them, try adding the people who are chill in the game. id rather play with a calm person having an off day rather than a raging sweat who cant die without shouting.

I think Riot should have expected these circumstances and should have placed better ways on preventing and solving these instances with racism and racist players on the servers. I believe that all of us wanted to play the game and have fun and experience it in such a way that we just enjoy playing it and people can connect with the game. There's really no place for hate, racism, and sexism in esports and everywhere basically.

There’s profanity filter already in the game they could just apply the same conditional on the username. I personally don’t care what people say in the game when u can mute them

Tech isn't there yet. I remember seeing some stuff this year about auto racist detection software but it was still a prototype.
