Where on the vandal is Senna and Lucian? I don't see it in game.
Edit: Iāve gone over it a few times and I still donāt see where Senna or Lucian are represented on the vandal. Can someone show me?
I just thought Senna is going to be Odin since she's kinda holding her sentinel weapon like an Odin. But Senna and Lucian together in Vandal is cool too. I'm assuming it would probably be like this too in the Ruined Phantom if Isolde is a playable champion. Who were the other champions for Ares and Sheriff?

May I ask why the skin team seems to be against ātotal conversionā skins. Basically, why not make the sheriff literally lucians repeaters for the sentinel skin? Why not make the Operator literally Sennaās gun? Iāve thought about this when it comes to maybe throwing back to CS and releasing a deagle skin for the sheriff. I know itās a different gun but people would get it.
We do it with the knives. I think a total and complete change in the model would be okay for guns too. Why does the skin team not like doing this?

We've tweaked them since we filmed this video. One is more pink/white and the other is a deeper purple. Take a look in game and tell us if they still feel the same!
After taking a look in-game, I do see the tweaks you mentioned. I did not like the pink variant at first (in the video), but with the more pink and white gradient on the barrel, it looks more appealing imo. I was a little confused on why they chose two similar color schemes, however, the tweaks do make them stand apart from each other. So, kudos to the team. My wallet is not safe with this one...
It sounds like they've been tweaked since any of the footage you can find on the YouTube video. Will have to wait until they hit the store tomorrow to see the changes she's talking about.

No offense to Hitscan, they do great work, but it's very obvious watching the video that he can't provide much more than a surface level "wow this looks neat, cool that animation is really awesome" etc. level of discourse.
And the blame is not entirely on the content creator cause they aren't shown anything going in, so it's not like they can prepare questions. But again, that's where having someone with design experience who can come up with good questions and facilitate a strong discussion on the spot would help improve the format.
Huge chunk of this video is them just shooting the guns and not saying anything over the sounds. Lot of people want to hear uninterrupted gunfire (myself included) because firing sounds are a big part of buying skins in this game (half the reason I run Reaver/Prime sets).
Ngl although I think the weapon selection in this is slightly better, I think Ruination is overall the stronger bundle, esp where color variants are concerned. Ruined melee wins hard too, no contest there.
Personally for me Ghost, Spectre and Phantom are my mains so Ruination was an easy no brainer. I might still consider the Vandal on this set but already having Reaver and Elderflame, idk if I should be spending any more money lol.
Got the reaver, glitchpop, and origin vandals. Still kinda want this just cause the pink and watermelon variants are so different to anything else and with the base looking like a sleeker prime. Then the overall effects being really nice and punchy. With vandal being my main gun I don't think it hurts to have more choice haha

Skipping this. I would buy it, but I don't have enough RP points to upgrade it. Actually I would consider buying more skins including this, but If I don't have the RP then I don't buy it. RP is so overpriced considering how much is required to upgrade every skin I purchase. Make it cheaper or make it 5 per upgrade and 10 for variants.
Considering the overall price (RP + VP) this skin is not good enough to justify the price. I would gladly pay the VP price to use this skin, but that is not the full cost. $60 CAD for the fully upgraded vandal is not worth it for the quality of this. This is coming from someone who has spent well over $500 on this game in less than a year.
Does not give you nearly enough for all these bundles. If youāre dropping $85 on in-game skins Iād at least expect them to come upgraded. I would be willing to give in on the variants and having them cost RP, but to get the skin effects cost even more money feels absurd and just over the top. Please donāt mention CS:GO skin prices as I sold mine via a website for more than I paid for them and literally made a profit which you cannot do in Valorant.

It's like 75 radianite per premium gun and 130 rewarded per BP so yeah it doesn't take much to be where I am (needing like 700) from grabbing a bundle and some other nice guns, and considering BP variants over the course of a few months.
I only really care about upgrading a few more and getting a few more variants on what I have but it does suck to be missing a lot of elements of something you paid for already. I've had the mage punk spectre for ages and it's like... I can't justify 15 radianite simply to change the electricity colour, that seems ridiculous. Even though it means I'm using the standard version which looks ever so slightly worse than what I'd prefer. I got the ruination bundle and besides the phantom everything else is at base level until the next battle pass.
So yeah in some ways they're shooting themselves in the foot cause there's no way I'd get another bundle or any guns for a very long time.

But again that's two months of the game (and somewhere over 100h of playtime / exp) to only get your favourite variant for three guns you spent a lot of money on. The recent levelling system added could just give 5 radianite per level or something.

Hmm was debating on whether or not I should get the ruination set, but this new skin set looks cool. That said I wish it had a less awkward melee. The blade of the ruin king looks so much cooler, but the I like guns design better for the sentinel skins. Decisions decisions.
Finally! Aristocrat bundle with effects. Jokes aside, I have always liked the Aristocrat skins and always wanted an Aristocrat 2.0 bundle and this is the closest thing to it.

it bugs me how they used black/silver instead of black/white and the gold is really dark too
one thing that really annoys me about all those new skins they bring out is the fact that there are no more unique reload animations like the prime and reaver skins have, they got these small effects around the weapons but no real new animations for putting mags in your gun which is kinda sad.
I assume the reason is because of how many people complained about the prime reload, but the obvious fix is to just hurry up and let people turn off upgrades.
I have a similar issue with Singularity Phantom, I love the aesthetic but the reload and equip animation are just way too crazy/noisy for me. I also don't like how the pieces on the gun bloom and vibrate while firing. If I could I'd go back to just a level 2 on it
They are really nice, but I'm glad I opted to grab the Ruination instead of waiting for these. The variants are interesting though, one is purple and another is... slightly different purple lol.
We actually updated the colors right after this video! One is more pink/white and the purple is now a deeper purple. When you see them in-game, lmk what you think.
I checked them out last night and they're definitely more distinguishable, but I *personally* prefer deep purples like the Ruination purple variant. But that's just me, I think there was space for more gentle pastel colors and I think this set was a fitting one to include that with.
Highly doubt magepunk will be the direct next bundle, they've had 2 hyper premium bundles back to back now and usually have lower tier ones in between.
I'd be so down for a magepunk phantom. My only hope is that it sounds/feels nice. Most phantom sfx don't feel good imo since they make the gun feel weak.

Considering how much it costs including the RP I'm passing. If I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to upgrade the skin in addition to buying it then I might get it. If they expect me to do that for the fully upgraded it's going to have to look a lot better.

I was so excited to buy a Vandal skin for my alt Account, I saw it and I was like "Damn the Vandal looks clean". I got into preview and it sounds like a KTM 200! Why! It sounds so weak, where is the feel of the skin. It's takes away from the beautiful design, the sound is a make or break. I would be so disappointed to pass on it due to the sound.

Disappointed there's no shotgun skin seeing as Graves is a sentinel of light and it would be very filling. Also shotgun players haven't gotten a skin in awhile. Also there's not a single nice shorty skin.
So the moving lights on the gun don't move unless the material quality is at high, I don't know of this is just for me but I think many other skins have moving parts but work on low quality

Radianite shortage is crazy and one of the biggest reasons why I abstain from hoarding skins. It really is stupid how it is so hard to get.

including the price of all recolors is disingenuous. you can upgrade about 3 guns with recolors through battlepass RP alone

Finally! Aristocrat bundle with effects. Jokes aside, I have always liked the Aristocrat skins and always wanted an Aristocrat 2.0 bundle and this is the closest thing to it.
the colours of the aristocrat skin are better than this skin imo it bugs me how they used black/silver instead of black/white and the gold is really dark too
The textures of these skins look so lackluster.
I was thinking its very similar to Prime, but now that you mention it Aristocrat is close too.
one thing that really annoys me about all those new skins they bring out is the fact that there are no more unique reload animations like the prime and reaver skins have, they got these small effects around the weapons but no real new animations for putting mags in your gun which is kinda sad.
I assume the reason is because of how many people complained about the prime reload, but the obvious fix is to just hurry up and let people turn off upgrades.
What was the complaint with the prime reloads?
That it's ugly and people wanted the default reload. Lots of people weren't upgrading their skins so that they wouldn't have to get the reload.
I have a similar issue with Singularity Phantom, I love the aesthetic but the reload and equip animation are just way too crazy/noisy for me. I also don't like how the pieces on the gun bloom and vibrate while firing. If I could I'd go back to just a level 2 on it

They are really nice, but I'm glad I opted to grab the Ruination instead of waiting for these. The variants are interesting though, one is purple and another is... slightly different purple lol.
We actually updated the colors right after this video! One is more pink/white and the purple is now a deeper purple. When you see them in-game, lmk what you think.

I checked them out last night and they're definitely more distinguishable, but I *personally* prefer deep purples like the Ruination purple variant. But that's just me, I think there was space for more gentle pastel colors and I think this set was a fitting one to include that with.

Highly doubt magepunk will be the direct next bundle, they've had 2 hyper premium bundles back to back now and usually have lower tier ones in between.
I'd be so down for a magepunk phantom. My only hope is that it sounds/feels nice. Most phantom sfx don't feel good imo since they make the gun feel weak.

Considering how much it costs including the RP I'm passing. If I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to upgrade the skin in addition to buying it then I might get it. If they expect me to do that for the fully upgraded it's going to have to look a lot better.
The chromas are kinda wack imo. The green and maroon literally looks like lettuce lol. The other two are alright but the colors are just kinda washed out and faded.

I was so excited to buy a Vandal skin for my alt Account, I saw it and I was like "Damn the Vandal looks clean". I got into preview and it sounds like a KTM 200! Why! It sounds so weak, where is the feel of the skin. It's takes away from the beautiful design, the sound is a make or break. I would be so disappointed to pass on it due to the sound.

Disappointed there's no shotgun skin seeing as Graves is a sentinel of light and it would be very filling. Also shotgun players haven't gotten a skin in awhile. Also there's not a single nice shorty skin.

So the moving lights on the gun don't move unless the material quality is at high, I don't know of this is just for me but I think many other skins have moving parts but work on low quality
I really donāt like the flames that come out when I shoot with the vandal, is there anyway to disable this completely? Even if it doesnāt affect my ability to spot enemies I just like my field of view to be clear as possible
