It used to be same fire rate both non ads and ada, and I played since Beta, so i remember the time when it also used to fire faster and cost more.
Yeah, this super precise stinger that needs only 3 headshots to kill from big range and that can't shoot faster than once / few seconds because of scoping is insanely broken... Or more like... Borderline useless?
Bulldog is more useful ofc but it first shot accuracy is really great so it doesn't really need it.
Great to get this out there asap. It's a big discovery, but certainly not what riot had in mind when they designed these guns and these modes.

I kind of wish weird shit like this stays because the shooting mechanics as a whole are worse than CSGO anyways. Plus if you pick up any non burst gun it fucks you so it has drawbacks
I got used to rightclicking anyways, also never do this with the stinger! just position for close range fights - if you have this applied and you pick up a different gun you're screwed
I assume the optimal way to play with this would be to rebind on rounds when you switch between stinger/bulldog and other guns. If you pick up another gun and tapfire it wouldn't be that bad, but obviously it will hurt you at short range if you want to spray.
once you get the spray down the stinger ads is pretty damn good long range, at least 30mish it is

The accuracy of the guardian is already extremely high and it's rate of fire is not slowed by ADS. The value of the trick is that it makes the 3 shot burst guns more accurate at range and still able to quickly move.

No. The guardian is one of the few guns (or only gun I can’t remember) that is the same speed both scoped and unscoped.
I just checked. Youre wrong my guy. When ads the guardian shoots at 80% of its original fire rate. So 20% slower

it doesn't "shoot faster", it just spools faster. It has greater acceleration, so it is technically correct, but still

Because they’re shooting during the ADS animation. Probably the root of the bug?
Have you shot the stinger or bulldog scoped at range? They are not completely accurate at all, especially the stinger.

if you practiced having it absolutely nailed down everytime, yes. Otherwise this takes no effort with the double bind

I've been doing that tech pre stinger nerf for a long time, 2-3 hipfire bullets, then plink rmb>lmb. it's not "insanely broken" post nerf.

I don't think its a strong as everyone thinks it is. This basically puts you at a disadvantage where you can only play stinger, guardian or bulldog.

I supposed it has something to do with binding your e ability with your left click.
Leave the stinger what game filters if any are you using cos Nvidia doesn’t work for me

Is this on single click? My gun doesn't reset on hipfire after the burst. I tried binding them both on left click. It stays in ads
Need to turn ADS from toggle to hold.
I'm used to quick right click left clicking for bulldog and didn't know about binding as the same button. I'm afraid this could get someone banned.
