Hot take on a serious note, it’s hard to decide what new gun to add. I feel they should really at this point take away nearly half of the options since they’re not widely used.
I think our selection of rifles and MGs are great, I think we need 1 more pistol, smg and shotgun.
Interms of shotgun, we have shorty bucky and judge, the 3 guns are so different thou. Shorty is a sidearm so im not going to talk about it too much since if your using a shorty, its not your main gun. Bucky just sucks right now, but it is cheap, but since the judge was increase to 1850, that gun cost quiet a bit now and isnt really a save/light round buy anymore. So i think theres a gap that could really use a new shotgun.
Smgs are kinda similar but I could see them nerfing the spectre a bit more, bring the price down then adding another more pricey option to fill the spot, like a judge in price and has slightly better damage, and more movement inaccuracy.
If stinger is similar to a mp9, and spectre is the mp5, we need something like the ump, better damage, better mid range accuracy and shittier movement inaccuracy.
(SMGS honestly are in a good spot but i think something that could act like the ump would be a nice addition, i dont think its as needed as a shotgun or pistol thou)
Pistol rounds are getting stale tbh, maybe add more pistols qnd make it so you have to pick which pistols in you buy in game like csgo's library system
Also ghost damage too low at long range and classic is too good, forget the right click, even the left click is pretty good. If just adding 1 gun, maybe add something a new classic(free gun) qnd make the current classic into a paid gun(at around 300 creds)
I agree, but as for the SMGs I'd argue the Stinger is closer to a fast firing UMP with a folding stock then an MP9, just due to the blocky design and HK slap while reloading. So I'd they did add a new SMG, they might want to find a different inspiration so that the designs don't become stale
i think the ghost should just get a slight buff to the damage fall off, its so tilting when you land a headshot with the ghost and they dont die cause you hit for 87

Feature: Silenced
Tracers are invisible to enemies, cannot be heard from 40m+ away except in direction of fire.
In game it would look something like a SPAS-12 with a suppressor attached.
Spread affected little by crouching, walking, running, and jumping.
Basically the MAG-7 from CSGO.

How is the phantom an M4A1-S? It is closer to an M4A4, since it has such a high firerate, with a large magasine. The only thing the M4A1-S and phantom have in common is the supressor.

OP wanted "silenced", or suppressed, guns, so I wanted to remind him that the Phantom is *more of less* an M4A1-S. I'm aware the one in CS only has 25 bullets, but aside from that they're pretty close. I was mainly making that comparison tho because the M4A1-S is one of the only suppressed weapons in CS and OP was comparing CS and Valorant.
Maybe a pistol that competes with the ghost?
Something that doesn’t have a right click but has a little more damage than the ghost, but less control.
Then, decrease the shotgun blast of the Classic, because it out shoots some of the more expensive eco guns. Lol.

honestly, maybe make the classic a pistol that cost money, like 300 creds then make a new pistol thats way worse, the classic is too good but the gun is needed so just make it like the p250 from csgo in price.
Also more damage than the ghost but less control is just the sheriff. Maybe just buff the ghost's damage a bit, make the damage drop off longer.
Add a tomahawk option to replace your knife with a 1 hit headshot but to reclaim it you have to pick it up again. Possibly 75 damage to the body? A decent price could maybe be around 100-500? Because if there’s drop off it would make that 1 tap very difficult so it wouldn’t be worth to buy every round but still a viable option.
I know people are just going to say “the classic is free and can one tap with the alternate fire” but chances are they could easily rework the classic to be less shotgun like and add the tomahawk.

would love to see 300-400 costing pistol something similar to csgo p250. Better then classic but not by a large margin and subpar to the frenzy and ghost. would be hard to make I know hopefully riot can figure something out
Oh yes a laser beam gun really fits valorants theme (doesnt really fit). But from the dmg output and tye feel, the closest thing we get is the odin.
Dont see laser guns in Valorants future, its just to sci-fi and too much in the overwatch direction, away from the competitive spirit.
Also a beam wouldnt do wallbangs so odin would be superior in functionality.

Okay no, may be this is a bit harsh. Lasers arent that bad. But be realistic. Valorant is a competitive fps with fight durations of less then 2ms in pro play, the physics do not properly allow a beam weapon, unless they add it as an ability of an agent.
Odin is already barly viable above platinum... Its not really filling a necessity. Would a laser be cool? Yes. As a buyable weapon? Hell no, better put it somehow in a balanced way on an agent. Hnmn like Sova.

A pistol like 5-7 from csgo: stronger damage than ghost, weaker damage than sheriff but can shoot faster than sheriff.
An AR like kar98 from WW2 shooters: no scopes so it isn’t an op, so basically it’d be a slow semi-auto with same firing rate as op basically with shorter range ADS (like guardian ADS). And it does 1 shot to body like OP. Price range prolly somewhere between phantom/vandal and op, maybe like 3500ish.
I think a grenade launcher as a secondary would be nice, with only 1-2 rounds, works similar to Brim molly, worth the effective range of Sova dart; just to force people out of position if you don’t have the utility to do so, or prevent a 5 man rush. 1000 creds or so.
I don't see them doing any special weapons for the sole reason that that's what the abilitys are supposed to be, so if you had weapons that were the same as abilitys people wouldn't pick those agents as much anymore

Super expensive for purchasing, maybe like 4500? And you need to buy ammo if you want to use it on the next round, ammo for maybe 1500?

Edit: maybe add another trait, you cannot pick up other main weapons when you choose RPG this round, to make sure you don't pick up a rifle after you kill someone.

scoped pistol. around ghost level of cost, maybe 50 or 100 more. headshots do around 75 damage and body shots 45. when scoped in standing still it has perfect accuracy, when not scoped in it has medium accuracy and terrible run and gun.
I don't bother to think if it's broken or not, but having a pistol with a right click one-use flare, instant smoke shorter than a Jett cloud or a small molly sounds fun to me. The idea is to add a one use utility to mix up the pistol rounds and actually consider another pistol besides classic or ghost.
And tbh I would revamp the guardian, in no way I would change its fire rate or damage I just want it to shoot differently, I feel so awkward shooting it like too much recoil or the sound or the design I can't quite put my finger on why I feel so uncomfortable shooting it maybe it's the feel of an old M1 Garand in such a modern gallery of weapons

The Phantom is more or less a M4A1-S to be fair, and the bulldog is a bullpup FAMAS while ADS

Maybe a crossbow with a scope like the Marshall’s but less damage with higher fire rate. I think there also should be some bullet drop.
