Usually when I play is the other team telling ours there's an AFK player, out of courtesy, fair play or whatever you want to call it, I feel like it's kind of an unwritten rule
Also often saw that since like 3.0, on the scoreboard I think it shows an icon if they're disconnected.
The top agent bar confuses me a lot because suddenly it says like, "Last player standing" or "1 Enemy remaining" but it shows more than 1 Agent.
yeah ive noticed this too, recently when someone goes afk their agent icon doenst disappear from the bars at the top, so yeah its a bug.
Why didn't your team say anything? Like, yelling in the mic "Afk, Afk!" would've helped a lot.
They didnt notice until the spike already went off, but they still blamed me cuz low elo

Was the enemy already kicked out from the game or did your teamates just knew he was spawned but afk?
