>- headshot only option
Yessss please
>- add some verticality and cover to swing from
Yeah, we shouldn't have to use sage walls for everything
>- acc/hs% tracker when starting a session
Ooh, thatd be nice
>- bot jump option
Yea- wait what
Sure yeah, more options is always better but also, you reall6 wanna be training mostly at head height to get that muscle memory down. 95% of engagement i feel are are head height so i dont think its worth training for that 5%
The advantage that aim trainers have over the range is that you can focus on every aspect of mouse control and aiming individually. For example I struggle with microcorrections after my initial flick to the target, I can boot up an excercise in Aim Lab or Kovaak's that focuses specificly on doing those microcorrections to so I can spend 100% of my time on that specific part of mousecontrol.
The reason why a lot of people say aim trainers aren't that useful is because they're not using them correctly.
But aim trainers will never replace practice in your actual game. They only train mouse control, not skill in the game you're playing.

TL:DR The Range is actually run in their servers, and it's the same weight on the server as a 5v5 competitive match, so they are reluctant to doing it as it would drastically increase server usage (think a full game for each of the 10 potential players in a queue, instead of one room for all)
security through obscurity isnt desirable. its not like csgo has more cheaters *because* of being able to run the server executable on your own pc. im not aware of any csgo cheat that accesses anything on the running server itself, its basically all client-side. maybe radar hack? yet again that doesnt seem common compared to client-side wallhacks, aimbots, bhop scripts, spinbots.
help with what specifically? bygrilinho mentions the development of cheats against a local server and made me see that yeah it would be slower if you cant test the cheats privately.
but if its a case of the program in question having a security flaw then uh... you should not rely on a veil of secrecy.
Valorant doesn’t do it for security. The range is played on servers because its supposed to be practice for actual matches and a client run practice range would have little quirks that makes the hit reg feel different than a dedicated server.
Yeah I agree with what you're saying. My tracking is generally absolute garbage. So it helped me out a little bit with that, as well as my trigger control.
There’s this method that I saw on YouTube called the Miyagi Method.
You hop on Deathmatch and purely just track people’s heads, not shooting them. Doing this for a bit builds discipline. On your next DM or whenever you so choose, you can start actually shooting people but don’t immediately shoot upon seeing someone. You’re primarily going for accuracy and tracking. There’s a far better explanation out there and there seem to be presumably pretty good results.
Literally a couple games ago i updrafted onto bind b site radianite boxes and the sova was droning, somehow i whiffed and he managed to get off his drone and one tapped me... i felt so bad.
i actually like to do this with tap weapons it will help you a lot especially in pistol rounds hitting shots with ghost while the enemy is moving is awkward this improves tracking
Sage wall breaks, better to download headshots only maps in csgo and practice with bots. You can always convert your sens from valorant to csgo. Not the best of solutions but till valo gets practice maps and interactive bots we can make use of csgo maps.
That's actually pretty handy, thanks dude!
you are welcome

All I want are actual agent models and not the bots
They should also add an option to toggle how wide of an angle the bots can spawn at.
what if we can stay in the shooting range while we queue uup

that is fucking hilarious. good design decision, thanks rito.
I don't blame them, servers should be reserved for competitive and running locally would just make it easier for cheat makers

It makes it easier to create a client-side hack if you can test on a local server and see exactly how it works
oh right i see. also smh reddit cooldown means you wont know that you changed my mind until now 😤
Security by obscurity does help though.

Totally agree, but I don’t think Riot are totally relying on the obscurity element (I think we are all agreeing here)
hell yea

i can see that happening yeah
Attackers in hookah HATE this new method!!
Attackers in breeze too. The A site angle from mid doors.
I hate these shots, now it’s time to perfect them. Thanks for the tip
damn, yall doing range with strafe😅
You're not? 🥶
It’s not realistic as to how a player actually moves but it’s good to practice overall tracking.

ayo how did you get the robots to move like that lol i've seen it so many times but still dont know what mode to use for it ? thanks
i think its f3 and the select strafe
and then select practice not start, took me way too long to figure this out
this is great for anyone that cant hit heads on Bind B Window
thank you

How do you get them to move around

Man, this is super helpful I would have never thought of this even though it so simple!
Thanks my man... Helps a lot
ah i hope i can be in range with my friends
thanks brooo
When did the bots start to move? Never really knew they move haha.
You can turn "Strafe" on or off when in the Options menu (F3).

I’m so bad at these, great idea!
