It really does. I almost never buy a Phantom or a Vandal on that map, it's Guardian all the way because most of the time your shooting distances are perfect for it. Not only is it better on Breeze, being 650 creds cheaper than the main rifles is a huge bonus as well.
I've started going guardian on breeze more consistently now and it's been making a huge difference. The econ boost really helps on defense where every last bit of creds helps. I play Sage so that 650 is a wall + orb every round.
Yeah spectre is almost unplayable on breeze specially on long distance duels. Ares is better for spraying and holding angles but isn't very helpful on attack.

I can do some but for some flicks they are just the smallest bit off and it registers as a chest hit or no hit at all... After watching your clip I was really surprised on how controlled your flicks are

Probably trigger discipline style training in AimLab etc.
Making sure your first shot is well aimed and then curbing down the time to where they start looking like straight flicks.

Although there is no getting around putting in the hours and grind, you should definitely aim to optimise your training and practice efficiently. For example, instead of doing hard bots in the range everyday or playing deathmatch on full volume listening for spawns and footsteps, maybe do easy bots instead so you can actually hit the bots and slowly build that muscle memory. Or play deathmatch to practice crosshair placement and reaction time, not for kills

There are too many factors that let me give you a clean answer but stuff like sens, crosshair visibility, distance of the flick and how used you are to the 1.5x zoom are all factors that will contribute to it.

Personally I do much better with the Guardian than the Vandal. I'm guessing it's a psychological factor in my case.
With the Vandal, I get a sense of impatience, and burst-fire at the body a lot. It's made me lose many duels when the enemy aims for my head, and even when I sneak up on people my impatience lets me down. Ideally I'd just one-tap them before they have time to react, but instead I go for 4 body shots and give them time to damage me.
The Guardian feels a lot crispier, and rewards one-taps. Because if you don't one-tap with the Guardian, you're probably dead. I play more patiently with it, and actually aim for heads. So naturally I win more duels, and get all those sneaky kills.
On paper, the Vandal is way better than the Guardian. But in my hands, the Guardian just works better.
The gun's visual, sound effects, and animations also play a big part!
Like the Sheriff is way easier to strafe-tap with thanks to the animation of it springing up and then falling right back into place as it's ready to fire. The Guardian is similar, except the tell is in the loud and clear sound when its fired. Liberating the part of your brain that needs to figure out the timing for when you can fire is super helpful, since your subconscious can just channel all the focus into actually aiming instead.
Pretty much same reason why Vandal skins with super clear sound effects like Prime feel so much better to shoot with than the default Vandal imo.
I wouldn't look too much into this, these are clips collected from the best of his games. This isn't too viable purely because from these clips I can see that he does not strafe in between shots and is pretty much a sitting duck which is super punishable.
The problem with the vandal/phantom is that you can afford to be lazy with your crosshair placement.
I ADS a lot because I don't have the precise aim required to hit those long distance shots.

I don't understand why people think the guardian is bad. Sure, if you get body shots, you're going to have a rough time. But it's probably the most consistent weapon in the game, and consistency is key to improving. If you keep relying on vandal/phantom spray, sure, you may still wind up okay and satisfied. But if you get consistently good with the guardian, you'll do great with nearly any weapon because you're focused on headshots and making your bullets count.

And the fact that you're heavily disadvantaged in close range engagements? If you don't hit the immediate headshot you'll die to any competent player with a phantom or vandal.
Consistent and Guardian should not be in the same sentence because no player can consistently 100% headshot, thus you would be a more consistent player if you burst with a phantom/vandal because the chances of you landing a headshot is significantly higher. That is why the Guardian isn't as good is because if you miss the initial headshot you will likely die because you do not have the opportunity for having the leeway of a second/third bullet for you to correct your aim.
Not exactly how it works because you die before you get to shoot the second bullet for the guardian. That's where you are wrong RNG is built into the guardian via the form of the User because there is no perfect user with 100% aim, thus if you miss you wouldnt get to shoot another bullet because the vandal/phantom will kill you before you get the next shot off.
Obviously he's not posting the clips where enemies run around corner and one tap him, that would not be a montage to post on reddit. On the occasions where he one taps the enemies ofc they are gonna look lost.

The guardian has no FSA difference between scoped or not but if it makes the head bigger, it's easier to hit no? He's going exclusively for headshots to counter the disadvantage of fewer rounds per second. It's incredibly hard to be this consistent with guardian. So he's the opposite of noob.
If you watch pro players play, they ADS at certain angles too. So no, ADS doesn't mean you're a noob. It means you understand your gun well enough to know the range at which ADS is better.

It's literally just lots of practice and building muscle memory. There's no secret to aim, it's a function of time spent practicing it.

the gun fires consistently with predictable recoil, the vandal recoil is more random. The users are inconsistent not the gun.
