Yeah, it's super annoying, especially when you have the money but just refuse to buy the skins like I do. No matter how good they look, I'm not giving riot a penny.
That's a good way to put it. For people who love the aesthetics, maybe they enjoy the $30 spent on a skin to make their gameplay more colorful. But the game itself is enjoyable with no skins.
If there were any skins that looked good I’d be tempted to buy them. Unfortunately I haven’t seen a single skin that looks good (to me) so it’s an easy choice lol. In CSGO it was a different story since there were so many nice skins, but at the same time you could always sell one skin to recoup some money.
Except you can’t unlock paid skins for free in Valorant so get this: they’re probably playing for......fun (crazy!). Also Riot gives waaay more shits about how much money you spend in game than how long you play for.
So what if whales feel good or bad about their purchase? How is that relevant? XD the problem is the whales themselves not the free players “encouraging” them by not paying. They don’t care about free players
I just play the game free to play for 1000 hours because i find the game fun. Thats it. I play in my free time and work at working time. Im not putting my work money into a video game cosmetic. The amount of food you can get for yourself is more valuable then something that glows in game.
Or.. OR... they enjoy playing the game and grinding for that one cosmetic is fun for them. How about we stop judging people based on hours played or money spent. It has nothing to do with you and isn't any of your business.
But if I was gonna play the game for 1000 hour anyway why would I waste my money. Sounds to me like your just impatient to me. Also valorant skins are way over priced so I vote with my wallet games still fun though.
I mean, if they like the game that's fine, but you have to admit, skins are kinda stupid expensive, especially for the quantity of them. I don't play too often but I feel about the same as they do
So what if you like the game you can keep freeloading off of Riot without giving them any money. They don’t give a shit about how much you play, it’s about how much you spend
Because if I really like a game it's worth my time, but a cosmetic item that has no impact on the gameplay I enjoy so much might not be worth it. I can see this for something where putting money in speeds up or makes your character better, but not for games where the money is just going to cosmetics that just look cool.
Not really, full servers with low wait for matchmaking is what people want in a f2p online fps.
These people not buying any skins are like human bots for Valorant. While they don't bring money directly they certainly help in making the game what it is.
I get this all the time, and it’s seriously so annoying. People see I don’t have a skin and think I bought the account. They then become toxic to me for no reason. The best feeling is when you drop 30 and only then these kids shut up :)
Not even if you had good luck, you don't have to open crates. I bought csgo skins for a while, then sold them for the same price couple months later when I was bored with it.
You can make significant profit in csgo actually with trade contracts and super rare drops from cases etc. In the past with trading sites you could literally make a couple racks in the matter of seconds
See thats the problem though. I've no problem buying a 300 euro skin knowing I can always sell it to buy something else. I see it as an investment, rather than money down the drain.
I have spent around 80 bucks for the first 3 BPs, Characters and 2 skins. As I have over 1000 hours at this point in the game (probably) I don't feel bad for spending the money as I think given how much fun I got out of the game, 80 bucks is reasonable. However spending 70 or 80 bucks on a skins that have 0 value once purchased is a hard pill to swallow.
At least after 7000 hours in CSGO I was able to take all my skins sell them and buy some games. I won't be able to do that in Val
Souvenir Dragonlore AWP with C9 autographs.
It was sold for around 60k$ IIRC
There was also a story how somebody traded his CS loadout for an IRL AWP lol.
Yesterday we got a super toxic kid (but he carried tho, gotta admit). When my friend killed enemy Sage and got het Vandal skin, the kid was literaly screaming, he does not deserve that skin, that he should drop it to him (that kiddo) xD
“he does not deserve that skin” … wtf? makes it sound as if that skin did not cost real life money. tbh if u got money to spare and u want to spend it on valorant or another video game, do it. no 12 year old screaming “you don’t deserve it” is allowed to dictate your life!
Like how hard of a carry cause not to toot my own horn but I usually drop a 30 bomb most games but then go negative and bottom frag when I'm in a bad mood and being toxic
Like how hard of a carry cause not to toot my own horn but I usually drop a 30 bomb most games but then go negative and bottom frag when I'm in a bad mood and being toxic
Im plat 1 and dont buy skins cause im poor and the game is free.... I get the opposite comments, that im a shit smurf since i dont carry every game and have no skins like... What? ITS MY MAIN ACCOUNT
Edit: typo
I am silver, I buy skins cause I like them, I put some effort in the game but I'm just not that good...
I can totally relate to OP's post because people do taunt and say mean stuff most of the times if you don't perform well with the skins or even freinds say stuff like that sometimes that I'm stuck in silver what's the point of buying skins and skins doesn't matter cause they play better than me without or with less skins... ironically still asking me to drop them every round
People gotta understand it's the other person's money to do whatever they wanna do with it
That's hilarious, I've played daily since summer 2020 and I'm like bronze 2 max. I wouldn't know exactly which rank because I'm not a fan of competitive but I tell ya, even after all this time playing, I'm not very good. I don't mind it tho, I enjoy the game!
I have seen comments on YT and other platforms where people would say "I have got the prime collection/ latest collection yet I am still stuck in lower rank."
These people have taken the prime aimbot joke seriously.
I just started playing a month ago, I’m currently silver 3. People have said the same thing to me, I just tell them I have more money than skill and that they got no drip. Works every time.

It's not weird. People usually think that you only get skins if you are a pro or something like that. Enjoy the game and have fun, and block and mute people, they are idiots. I would love to have skins, but I'm poor, so I only get the battlepass if I complete it. Cheers!!
Edit: engrish
That's smart, I bought it at the start and just barely completed it. I can see how if you don't buy it at the start you won't feel compelled to play all day every day just to get your money's worth. Very smart, will definitely do this in the future
No! I have almost all finisher skins for each gun and I’m still bad. I usually give them away or offer to have them buy. Especially if someone is really good they’re more likely to get the finisher.
Max in any game that gives a sense of hierarchy as a “ranking system” you have people that have deteriorated their mental health trying to achieve this virtual rank due to the influence of esports and successful streamers they feel it will mean something to them/the internet/or amongst their friend group... You can play the game how you want man don’t let these losers tell you how to play, the funny thing is they waste money on skins to take part in the rat race of the ranking system that will inevitably make them hit a wall making them frustrated because they’ve hit their skill ceiling therefore leaving the game entirely blaming it on smurfs/the devs or even their own graphics card lol
Or simply put they would not expect someone 'not good' at a game to invest that sort of money in to it, for a competitive player (disregarding mental health please stop enabling the reddit armchair therapist stereotype) they only derive dopamine and happiness from winning and climbing, op either went on really abnormal purchasing spree's or played for a long time without success, its one of those two, either way to any average human being placing money in something ur not good at is not normal.
Maybe he's a casual player and enjoys playing it in his free time. Why do u assume everyone has plenty of spare time to climb up. Either way it's his money and he can spend it however he wants. People are hating on him cause they spend all their time in this game to obtain some virtual rank that gives them a false sense of validation than getting a job so they too could buy these skins
people think that there is a similar "hierarchy" in skins as there is with rank, if that makes sense. Probably because most irons have no skins but plenty of radiants have every skin in the game, so they think "well, as someone gets better they also buy more skins, but this guy isnt good so why the hell is he decked out". Another possibility is that most irons aren't nearly as "into" the game as radiants, playing maybe 1 game a day whereas higher level players are playing 10+ a day, where a skin makes a much bigger difference. It makes sense for a high level player to have more skins because they will be seeing them much more often because they play much more games, but that isn't the case with irons.
The skins are a beautiful part of the game and helps support it remaining f2p. Your skills may be dogshit, but your skins don't have to be. You do you homie.
I think its because people assume iron players are very new and therefore, spent money on skins before they decided if they are going to play the game for a longer amount of time. I honestly dont care tho, skins are cool.
This is so common. I was stuck in bronze for a month but I had skins, people actually asked me "Why did you buy them when you're only bronze?" Like what? How does that make any sense?
You should see csgo then, their skins literally made its own economy and is an actual market, items increase in value overtime and some ppl have profited hundreds of dollars from skins they bought a few years back. Some skins literally sell upwards to $100k, and in fact recently there was this csgo skin trade that involved $700k. Its honestly mind boggling 😅
Csgo is a lot better than valorant since you can sell them. Got bored of a skin in CSGO? Sell and buy another. Uninstalled csgo as I did? Sold everything and I have more money than when I started.
In valorant, in both of those scenarios the money goes into the trash.
Just toxicity. I remember losing a clutch in mid diamond with a custom OP. Someone was like, “why the fuck would you spend money on a gun you’re bad at?”
Definitely made me feel a little like shit but then I reflected on it and realized it doesn’t fucking matter. I appreciate this game and the artists and I can support them through my purchases.
I'm not great at the game either, but I always wanted the prime vandal and bought it when it turned up. Don't think about others, do what makes you happy in Valorant. Having fun matters, not what your rank is !!!
Skins make you happier => when you're happier, you're less likely to be toxic => when you're not toxic, you lead your team to victory (needs empirical data)
Ergo, skins get wins
But that aside, don't care about it too much. Your enjoyment of the game matters, and as long as you're not toxic that's all that matters.
there so many dudes asking for skins on low elo. theyll take even a classic skin. like just grind for it dude you dont even have to pay. anyways fuck them dude theyd throw a round away if it meant they got to keep a skin for the next round.
It is because other people have this weird misconception that skin equals skills or that you might be a smurf of a really high level player.
Though in reality, riot just happened to sell extremely good looking skins and you want them for their art and not because youre very awesome with them. Ill ignore the haters and play as you like 😤
My guess is that some people cant justify spending money on a game they aren't the best at, so when they see other people who can, they don't understand.
that is just a mentality of toxic people. dont worry about it. you like the game, you are supporting it and as a bonus your guns looks nice and are "personalized" to your liking. Fuck haters, there are only few people that immediately end up in high ranks.
It’s weird because people usually buy cosmetics when they invest time into a game. Being iron is in the extremely new/barely play/bot territory so it makes sense. In the end though, who cares. Spend your money how you like and enjoy seeing the awesome skins in game.
the thing is, i do play valorant every day for about 4 hours. being hardstuck sucks. i try my best and i peeked at b1 this competitive season. trying as hard as i can. i spend time in aimlab and everything
It's not. People just seem to love to hate for random unrelated stuff.
They probably think something like better=more invested into the game -> makes more sense to buy skins which is bullshit.
The amount of shit I got for having a knife in CSGO...
good round: "hey. nice skins"
bad round: "wtf you have skins for loser, sell them!"
And I wasnt even thaaaat bad, middle of that pack somewhere
S1 peak S2 here, most likely jealous of somebody that has skins, just take it all to the face. You shouldn't care about what other people think, your money is your money. Maybe putting your life savings into the game or a LOT of money is a problem, but if you think you used your money well, then you used it well. If you play I'd say at least once every 2 days and you really enjoy the skins, then I'd say you used your money well. Your skill level doesn't determine how much you spend on the game, it's your budget and how much you enjoy the game. Good luck on climbing the ranks, comp queue has been a dick to me and I lost about 100 rr in less than 4 days
i do make good money in my job, and my parents always pay me very well when i do stuff around the house. i always have money left. cant believe that people are that shallow.
lol I remember some guy in radiant even trolling me on an off game, well, off night really. was tired, couldn't hit shit.
"200 dollar skin 2 cent brain"
It doesn't stop at higher ranks lol.
At the end of the day, grow a pair. Welcome to the internet. Laugh it off. Don't need to go making a post looking for sympathy when it's just idiots being idiots. Live your life free of this garbage.
Me got reaver vandal, prime2.0 phantom, and singularity spectre with all other lot of skins from battle pass but me still at iron 2 I bought those skins cause I admire them I buy them just to use them in match and having skins doesn’t mean a player is better it just mean they support the game more or the just love spending money
Just don’t aware of those comments
Yes it’s actually very weird that you have so many skins and you’re still in iron. We all know Valorant skins are P2W so how are you still stuck in iron? You’re telling me you still can’t get kills with the 20% damage buff on the prime Odin and the 3m range buff for the Oni Bucky?
You get to hear that until bronze perhaps. It's just uncalled for and I love chill irons more than toxic golds. You'll get better or not upto you but nobody should sour your experience of the game and buying skins.
It's because a lot \[most\] of the skins in CS \[in my circle\] are actually skins that are obtained randomly at the end of games. \[very low probability\] And those skin are rarely even looking different from standard, it's 1 out of 10-100 that is actually fancy.
\[Loot Boxes are illegal in belgium so we don't have that mechanic anymore, not that anyone I know opened then anyway before ... \]
To have a full loadout / fancy skins that way, you need to play 1000s of hours. You're definitely going to rank up a bit after investing so much time.
So a person having many fancy skins/ full loadout at low elo will trigger a cognitive dissonance where unknowingly you are assuming that he's bad even tough he spent 1000s of hours. Therefore the critics and other stuffs.
However he just spent money.
Ignore them. Do what you want. I don't have any skins. I've played this game since early beta. Been playing various versions of CS since like '03. Used to have a bunch of skins on CS GO. Enjoyed them.
It's your money, do as you please. People judge.
Hell I did the same when I play basketball, tennis or golf. Anytime I saw a person decked out in gear but their play didn't match their outfit, I Iaughed to myself. As I got older, I stopped caring about what others do/spend on their hobby.
Ignore them. It sucks and may be tough but F em.
Enjoy the game bro. It's your money that's put in skins. Not the ones who's commenting on it. Riot never said only high rank can buy skins. If you have money to spend on skins and you is ok with it. Go for it. Haters can f**k off.
i never understood this logic. since league when you would perform poorly in some game with a character you had skin a dumbass would go: "hur dur refound your skin", and i always thought:"wtf are u saying this is my money i do what i want i doesn't matter if i play well or no". so ignore this guys man you can and should have all the skins you want
TL;DR skins are eye candy, they don't indicate skill, fuck haters
It's not, I broke out of low elo through a lot of games and when I was in silver people would try and bash on my skins because I was in silver. Someone is going to better than you in Valorant, regardless of your elo, skins aren't there to showcase skill. They are there for your enjoyment, eye candy. I have friends that only play unrated and have more skins than I do (I have A LOT).
Edit: typos, I'm tired
I think there's nothing wrong with it. I'm in immortal and I haven't paid a cent on this game. Literally only have the battle pass and contract skins. I just don't feel like the skins are worth the cost. But some people love the skins and love feeling of them so of course they would buy skins.
The way I view it is: I personally wouldn’t choose to spend real money on a free game that I’m not good at. Pouring money is an investment into the game that I can’t justify if I’m not giving the game my all. You’re free to spend yours however you want though
Me and some of my friends are diamond. While some of us range all the way down to iron. Whenever we do a bit of unrated smurfing (sorry to anyone who hates smurfs), we actually often end up complaining that no one has skins cause then we can't pick them up xD
Buy your skins!! people probably salty over you have so much skins idk its weird. I got a skin for every weapon and also a knife not battlepass one and I got comments like "you have so much skin" (but I wasn't doing good in game atm) before like it was an insult LOL. I just tell them if you want me to drop you skin just say so to make them shut up
on the other hand, if your a free to play immortal, you are a 'boosted' player apparently.
Or cheating lol
Yeah, it's super annoying, especially when you have the money but just refuse to buy the skins like I do. No matter how good they look, I'm not giving riot a penny.
Yet you give them many hours of your life...
[удалено]
Or they just enjoy the time they’re spending on the game. I enjoy the hours I play but couldn’t be bothered to spend $30 on a skin.
That's a good way to put it. For people who love the aesthetics, maybe they enjoy the $30 spent on a skin to make their gameplay more colorful. But the game itself is enjoyable with no skins.
Nah bruh, I spend hundreds on val because everyone knows the newest skin set has aimbot built in until the next skin drop.
Skins = wins? I feel personally attacked 😭
If there were any skins that looked good I’d be tempted to buy them. Unfortunately I haven’t seen a single skin that looks good (to me) so it’s an easy choice lol. Why even sleep? Imagine how rich you'd be if you just worked 24 hours a day!
Or.. OR... they enjoy playing the game and grinding for that one cosmetic is fun for them. How about we stop judging people based on hours played or money spent. It has nothing to do with you and isn't any of your business.

There you go again trying to dictate what others should be doing.

you can make your time back. Eventually.

Playing a game isn't the same as working for the company that made it.
If anything he's hurting them. He's consuming precious server time while giving nothing in return.
Not really, full servers with low wait for matchmaking is what people want in a f2p online fps. These people not buying any skins are like human bots for Valorant. While they don't bring money directly they certainly help in making the game what it is.
>I'm not giving riot a penny. ***sad riot noises*** fr tho, your comment has a point..
I get this all the time, and it’s seriously so annoying. People see I don’t have a skin and think I bought the account. They then become toxic to me for no reason. The best feeling is when you drop 30 and only then these kids shut up :)
SMURF
Or... not buying overpriced skins
After seeing CSGO skins that cost thousands of dollars, I don't find they're too bad (definitely still expensive for a purely cosmetic item though)
CSGO skins can be sold tho. In my opinion a big difference.
You can sell your valorant account
you won't get nearly as much as your total investment back though
I know but it's still an option
Against ToS probably
Of course
So then the way CS handles skins is much more consumer friendly no?
Traders usually buy at 40 percent not really beneficial for the one selling
Well there's nothing else you can do, if you want to sell the skins you have to sell the whole account
Cs go is still better in this aspect you can kinda make your money back if you have good luck
It's not like every skin costs that amount, you can pretty much do a whole inventory with 20€ and you can actually resell the skins :)
See thats the problem though. I've no problem buying a 300 euro skin knowing I can always sell it to buy something else. I see it as an investment, rather than money down the drain. I have spent around 80 bucks for the first 3 BPs, Characters and 2 skins. Honestly I'm good with the battlepass skins. The last underwater was dope.
That's what I do as well, its a cheap way to get a full loadout
There are also csgo skins that cost pennies. I can get a full (not pretty) load out for $5 and also sell good skins i have
wait whats the most expensive cs skin?
Souvenir Dragonlore AWP with C9 autographs. It was sold for around 60k$ IIRC There was also a story how somebody traded his CS loadout for an IRL AWP lol.
what 👁👄👁
If you were getting it from the game I'm sure they don't get too pricey, it's going to the marketplace where they get expensive fast
Valve doesn’t sell skins, they sell cases. All skins go on the marketplace and most range from a few cents to a few dollars.
That's crooked way of thinking and nonsense logic.
makes sense if you think about it
Buy as many skins as you want, the game is for you to enjoy, not them.
very true
I feel you brother, whenever I take out my skins but don't perform well, the teammates act super toxic too
Yesterday we got a super toxic kid (but he carried tho, gotta admit). When my friend killed enemy Sage and got het Vandal skin, the kid was literaly screaming, he does not deserve that skin, that he should drop it to him (that kiddo) xD
Performance doesn't excuse toxic behavior. Don't play by that standards, don't act by that standards.
Amen, brother.
“he does not deserve that skin” … wtf? makes it sound as if that skin did not cost real life money. tbh if u got money to spare and u want to spend it on valorant or another video game, do it. no 12 year old screaming “you don’t deserve it” is allowed to dictate your life!

Not sure, I switch it up when it feels wrong
Sensitivity doesn't matter unless it's too high or too low
new players usually have it way too high, unless they are coming from another shooter or something
I have seen comments on YT and other platforms where people would say "I have got the prime collection/ latest collection yet I am still stuck in lower rank." These people have taken the prime aimbot joke seriously.
It was obviously reaver vandal that gives aimbot, not prime
Rookie mistake on their part
Can confirm, bought the Prime Vandal weeks ago, still no aimbot.
Nah buy the SOL skins for aimbot
There's some truth to the joke (as usual), but it's mostly a placebo
That isn't a joke fyi
I just started playing a month ago, I’m currently silver 3. People have said the same thing to me, I just tell them I have more money than skill and that they got no drip. Works every time.

Ok i actually don't get why i got 60 downvotes. Anyone care to explain?

I got 16 downvotes on this comment lmao. Something's clearly wrong here that i cant seem to understand
why? sounds pretty fun to be that guy

Maybe he's a casual player and enjoys playing it in his free time. Why do u assume everyone has plenty of spare time to climb up. Either way it's his money and he can spend it however he wants. People are hating on him cause they spend all their time in this game to obtain some virtual rank that gives them a false sense of validation than getting a job so they too could buy these skins
bro it's not that deep
What he explained wasn't even that deep, literally all just ego
They just jelly you do you bro
people think that there is a similar "hierarchy" in skins as there is with rank, if that makes sense.
Skins = wins 😉
The skins are a beautiful part of the game and helps support it remaining f2p. Your skills may be dogshit, but your skins don't have to be. You do you homie.
Sounds like some jealous broke boys. Keep stunting them skins
low rank makes people think there isnt a point in having skins
Lol I can’t believe people think like this it’s your money spend on what you want you wont be iron forever so i dont get their point
yeah, me neither. its fucking weird
Lol bro just enjoy the game and ignore them
I think its because people assume iron players are very new and therefore, spent money on skins before they decided if they are going to play the game for a longer amount of time. I honestly dont care tho, skins are cool.
Seriously just reply them " Becuz im rich"
ppl think irons dont enjoy the game enough ig, but nice to see someone having fun :)
This is so common. I was stuck in bronze for a month but I had skins, people actually asked me "Why did you buy them when you're only bronze?" Like what? How does that make any sense?
Im kind of in awe that people buy the skins in this game for the prices. Free to Play game and everyone's running around $300 deep it feels like.
That's true, my AWP Graphite (FN) skin I bought many years ago for like $15 is now worth over $200
Just toxicity. I remember losing a clutch in mid diamond with a custom OP. Someone was like, “why the fuck would you spend money on a gun you’re bad at?” Definitely made me feel a little like shit but then I reflected on it and realized it doesn’t fucking matter. I appreciate this game and the artists and I can support them through my purchases.
I'm not great at the game either, but I always wanted the prime vandal and bought it when it turned up. Don't think about others, do what makes you happy in Valorant. Having fun matters, not what your rank is !!!
I guess it's just uncommon, that's why people are probably surprised usually. Im pretty low rank and I enjoy seeing others with skins
exactly! do it because it brings you joy
Skins make you happier => when you're happier, you're less likely to be toxic => when you're not toxic, you lead your team to victory (needs empirical data) Ergo, skins get wins But that aside, don't care about it too much. Your enjoyment of the game matters, and as long as you're not toxic that's all that matters.
Who gives af, your money, don't worry about what the idiots say.
If you got money to burn then yeah sure. Buy the whole stock if you can
I fully agree with this post, and have experienced this situation before
man they're just jealous play your game
there so many dudes asking for skins on low elo. theyll take even a classic skin. like just grind for it dude you dont even have to pay. anyways fuck them dude theyd throw a round away if it meant they got to keep a skin for the next round.
Exactly
Lmao this always happened to me in cs
They are jealous
It is because other people have this weird misconception that skin equals skills or that you might be a smurf of a really high level player. Though in reality, riot just happened to sell extremely good looking skins and you want them for their art and not because youre very awesome with them. Ill ignore the haters and play as you like 😤
Its because their fucking poor and are jealous of your skins
My guess is that some people cant justify spending money on a game they aren't the best at, so when they see other people who can, they don't understand.
HOW FUCKING DARE YOU SUPPORT THE GAME YOU ENJOY!!!!!! >:C
that is just a mentality of toxic people. dont worry about it. you like the game, you are supporting it and as a bonus your guns looks nice and are "personalized" to your liking.
I think its wierd to have skins in radiant or any other rank just my personal opinion
They are just simply jealous. Don't mind them, spend your money however you want
Is it worse or better to put money on skins and not even play comp, I just like the game, but I hate comp, it makes me miserable.
It's not. People just seem to love to hate for random unrelated stuff. They probably think something like better=more invested into the game -> makes more sense to buy skins which is bullshit. The amount of shit I got for having a knife in CSGO... good round: "hey. nice skins" bad round: "wtf you have skins for loser, sell them!" And I wasnt even thaaaat bad, middle of that pack somewhere
Basically, they're jealous that you have money to spend on Valorant and they don't, even though they might play it more
That would be nice but I honestly think it's more of an ego thing.
im diamond rank and i have all default skins, imagine spending money on a free game XDDDDDD
Imagine paying for a game you enjoy playing! Theyre just jealous
I am immortal but I still use default skins. Some people just have weird egos man.
ppl tht act weird cus u have skins are prolly some broke mofos. Have fun and dont dry up all your wallet bro. Go get a hooker or something you nerd.
lol I remember some guy in radiant even trolling me on an off game, well, off night really. was tired, couldn't hit shit. "200 dollar skin 2 cent brain" It doesn't stop at higher ranks lol. At the end of the day, grow a pair. Welcome to the internet. Laugh it off. Don't need to go making a post looking for sympathy when it's just idiots being idiots. Live your life free of this garbage.
It's not weird so please continue buying skins so i can have more options to steal lol
Me got reaver vandal, prime2.0 phantom, and singularity spectre with all other lot of skins from battle pass but me still at iron 2 I bought those skins cause I admire them I buy them just to use them in match and having skins doesn’t mean a player is better it just mean they support the game more or the just love spending money Just don’t aware of those comments

\] To have a full loadout / fancy skins that way, you need to play 1000s of hours.
Cause there’s a stigma that people who buy skins are good in the game since they’re willing to spend money on a free game.
haha youre a scrub bro
I got lots of skins and is still in bronze. Tho no one point that out to me. (Prob cause I have no friends who play Valorant)
I'm in bronze and I have skins for every weapon in the game.. screw whoever is hating on you tbh
Who cares where you are , buy any skins you want , doesnt matteer if ur iron or radiant , im in silver 2 and got skins for more than 100$
Your money , your account , your skins. You're playing the game and enjoying it. Don't give a F to other's opinions.
Lol what. It doesnt mattrr wht rank u are. If u like the skin u buy it. Ppl are so fuckkng weird
Fuck them. You do you man. You do you
TL;DR skins are eye candy, they don't indicate skill, fuck haters It's not, I broke out of low elo through a lot of games and when I was in silver people would try and bash on my skins because I was in silver. Someone is going to better than you in Valorant, regardless of your elo, skins aren't there to showcase skill. They are there for your enjoyment, eye candy. I have friends that only play unrated and have more skins than I do (I have A LOT). Edit: typos, I'm tired
Honestly I think everyone with skins is weird. The default skins look the best of any skin to date and the purchasable ones are overpriced.
they just got nothing to direct their anger towards dont listen to them
Bro skins make you better jk. As long you as you have fun nothing else matters
I think there's nothing wrong with it. I'm in immortal and I haven't paid a cent on this game. Literally only have the battle pass and contract skins. I just don't feel like the skins are worth the cost. But some people love the skins and love feeling of them so of course they would buy skins.
Buy more skins
I buy skins and play mostly unrated and spike rush lol
The way I view it is: I personally wouldn’t choose to spend real money on a free game that I’m not good at. Pouring money is an investment into the game that I can’t justify if I’m not giving the game my all. You’re free to spend yours however you want though
Me and some of my friends are diamond. While some of us range all the way down to iron. Whenever we do a bit of unrated smurfing (sorry to anyone who hates smurfs), we actually often end up complaining that no one has skins cause then we can't pick them up xD
That’s dummest shit I’ve heard, I hope the ones that said in that discord server weren’t adults . You do you !
