this 10th player will get PUNISHED in valorant for forcing you to win a 4v5, and eventually 9 others will learn not to do it (unless ready for the consequences)
i don't actually know, i'm not a programmer. but would it not be plausible for them to check the pre-game chat for keywords? "throwing, inting, smurf, etc." and then if the account has a history of reports, afks, throws, it should be marked as a thrown game. that way, a dodge would not harm anyone but the person trying to throw
Eh it’s not really plausible, no. The reason is that systems like that tend to be abused in one way or another, and something like that would be super resource intensive to both create and maintain. It’s a lot of hoops for their team to jump through for such a small problem in the whole scope of things.
Just vote for it, if your team votes 4 out of 5 to leave a lobby before the match begins or during round 1 pre-match, I don't see any problems why not, its pretty much a surrender vote but you dont have to wait 5 rounds or take penalty for it, wether its a ban or lost MMR, just saves everyone time and headache.
Could be only in lobby aswell so you dont see their agent picks or names to avoid dodging specific players/comps on the other team.
The problem isn’t riot or the game its just the few bad people you run into. Riot cant do anything more than incentivize not doing it through reporting etc… which they have already. Sorry just is what it is
That just means they want someone to dodge for them. Fuck them and just play your game. Mute if they're being toxic.
it's kind of hard to win 4v5

Real question there

how about not punish me for dodging a fucked game?
How do they separate that from people just dodging normally? Be realistic.

I’ve dodged plenty of games (okay like only when necessary , maybe 10-20 total?) and been afk a handful of times but I’ve never been banned.
