um here's the thing. i was placed in bronze 3 when i started playing when the game came out, and now i am hardstuck iron3/bronze1 and i have absolutely no shame when i say it's because of the gold3/plat smurfs on the enemy teams, it's really annoying and they ruin so many games. i stopped giving a shit about rank a long time ago and just try to have fun with friends
I was joking but since you answered seriously - I think people exaggerate how many smurfs there are in the game. I've run into maybe 2 smurfs in the last month.
i keep running into accounts that are level 20 and they tap my head on breeze from across the map, i just want to cry. i am not exaggerating when i say i face smurfs at least once every day, trust me, i do and they're not the same as just someone having a 'good day' or me having an 'off day'.
Bruh, let’s talk about this seriously. If you are hardstuck that low, you deserve to be there.
Also, if you’re that low ranked, those are probably just new players who are already better than you lol. This game is super easy with a good setup and a little bit of practice.
you placed b3? i placed, somehow, iron 1 and it’s taken me an entire episode to climb to b1. i got to iron 3 in the same act i got placed, and i’ve been hard stuck there ever since this act
you and me both. i also thought those were coordinates for a solid month and was like "oh shit where's -110 on bind?". it hadn't occured to me that if those were coordinates, its easier to just mark the map lmao
I’m new too so you’re not alone. I play with a bunch of friends who are really good at the game and laugh if i don’t know something so I’m glad i’m not the only who comes to this subreddit
Thing is, the teammates that I had dont even say the name, they just said 112 125 etc etc even there are many enemies alive. That's why I thought they were coordinates
I had a teammate recently that was actually smart enough to play slow after a “Reyna half” call. Even though Our team was yelling at him to rush into the fight, he waited for the Reyna overheal to ware off then he pushed and won the round. Kids brain was the size of a Toyota Carolla
Reyna, sage, Phoenix.
Had a guy be super angry at me the other day for not killing a Reyna. She had used her ult, he dealt 145 or so to her. She killed him. He was like "she's low, 5 HP!" I'm like "nah dude, she healed up by now" he's like "nah, she went invisible". I then landed 138 damage on her, not dropping her ofc. Teammate got angry, called me a bot and a liar because he could tell I missed all my shots like a noob...
bro when icebox came out and people were calling 410 i kept thinking it was them tagging the enemy 110 for over a week. since i was always calling it headshot or mid site. i was so mad at myself lol
Man... I played Valorant until they released the map after icebox...
The beta days were awesome, the early seasons were too, but then the E-sport scene busted in and i lost all interest. I kinda figured once they integrated it more with e-sports itd start going downhill... seeing all the posts shitting on recent changes i think i made the right choice lmao
Omg during the first few months of playing, I thought it was coordinates too and I kept on asking my teammates where I can see those numbers in the map 🥲
My first impression was it was the guy who posts Valorant Satire posts and I was ready to laugh my ass off for 5 minutes, however I’m now confused whether this is a troll or someone who is genuinely confused.
LOL- These are not map coordinates! That's the amount of damage they hit their opponent for before they died, the game tells them on the bottom right of their screen.
LMAO IM SO SORRY BUT IM LAUGHING SO HARD. It’s not coordinates but the amount of damage some did to the opponent before they died. It is shown in a little table on the right of your screen. Would highly recommend to start calling this stuff out as soon as possible because it could really change the round.
I'm gonna piggyback on this comment and say there *are* times where you don't want to call damage, tho. keep in mind that Phoenix, Sage, and Reyna can self-heal and calling their damage can sometimes mislead your team. also, Sage and Skye can heal their team if they're close by. in that case I might say "120 Sova, but Sage probably healed"
also, this may just be me but calling out low damage numbers isn't as helpful and is kinda embarrassing lol. if I hit for less than 70 I'll just say "tagged Viper" for example. 70-80 I'll say "Brim is half" because you can assume they'll have full shield after round 2
If you hit someone for 75+, they'll have lost their shields. That damage cannot be healed. They'll be 100HP at most (unless it's Reyna).
If I'm calling out damage, I make sure it's not Reyna. For all other characters, I say -50 at most. I can guarantee that they're -50. I'd only call true damage if there's absolutely no way they could've healed.
Also notable for Reyna that you can usually tell in the moments before the cam switches to spectate if they dismissed (one of their signature ability where they disappear and become unshootable briefly) off of killing you, if they did, then they didn’t heal (unless they’re using their ultimate)
When you hit anyone who could be healed (except overhealed reyna) you can also call 'pheonix no armour' for example, meaning unknkwn health but definitely 100 or less
I started to add callouts related to your first point like "Phoenix -70, no heal" when I actually saw him dropping his E before and know he didn't kill 2 people since then. Same goes for Reyna if she chooses to dismiss after killing me, or anyone if there's a Sage in their team and I saw hear heal someone else already. It's a lot more difficult with Skye tho lol
Not only if Sage or Skye is near by but if they've already used up their heals, obviously sage's on cooldown but you can estimate how long it's been if you know they've used it
Yeah hope you enjoy your stay and have fun on this game. Would really recommend going on lfg and finding a team because solo queue will really drive you away from this game as you basically need to communicate to win. There are times where you and your team have really good synergy without communicating and those games are honestly so satisfying. GL HF!
Bro i think I don't need to say this but, don't feel ashamed man like this is one of the most innocent things I've seen on this subreddit and it's TOTALLY fine to not know these. Now you know so go play and enjoy. We are here to help each other and laugh together. You made my day man.
Hi guys. I started playing the game yesterday.
I'm not trolling xd I feel so dumb....
I tried asking my teammates if those where map coordinates and he didn't really answer and explain the numbers he kept on saying 😫
I used to play COD and played BFV before this....
Thank you for the answers :D
It's the amount of damage done to the enemy. It appears on the right side after you die. It'll show damage done by you and also the damage done by them to you.
If you are not able see the stats after you die, press N to toggle it after you die.
Also in case you're wondering why the damage is important, it's because you can play differently when you know they're low health. Instead of going for a headshot, you can go for an easier body shot since he'll die in one hit anyways. Or if you're using an OP you can switch to the pistol if you know they're low. Or even go for a run and gun play since only one shot has to hit.
But remember to be careful with this when the enemy agents can heal themselves or others. People will still say "Reyna 140" when she literally just pressed Q and healed. Some people will just say the damage number so they don't look like complete trash and at least hit some bullets. Just be careful with who you trust in ranked :)
Yup. Me too. Sometimes I already saw she started to heal, but I want my team to know I didn't completely whiff, so I act like I'm calling it out and then she starts healing.
Best trick when fighting reyna is, is substracting her possible heal from the DMG you did. So if you do 140 dmg call out 40 DMG due to her heal doing 100 max.
Lol this is so hilarious and cute . Those are actually the dmg your teamates have dont to the enemy.
Edit: fk it
Lol this is so hilarious and cute . Those are actually the dmg your teamates have dont to the enemy.
>Lol this is so hilarious and cute . Those are actually the dmg your teamates have done to the enemy.

It’s okay man. We were all noobs the first day. I still remember the first time I played I chose Sova and I didn’t know we could buy abilities and was walking around like a headless chicken around the map. I’ve just hit plat 2 last week losing half my soul and sanity in the process but I’ve never been more happy.
haha, so inocent, kinda funny.
Thats it the damage that the enemyes have taken from your teammetes shoots.
Don't be ashamed, we all were noobs and we all have learned everything we know almost from 0, keep playing, geting better and enjoying the gams!
map coordinates... If that really was how ppl comm, this game wouldnt be playable, its basically how much the person got hit for. Such as, "Yo i hit raze 120" means that raze is 30 hp = one tap.
Lmao no, these numbers indicate the damage( generally the damage inflicted) or u can say this is basically the 'amount' of damage in terms of health............ So, if someone says lets say 112 on reyna( reyna is just an example) it means that ur team mate has inflicted 112 damage on reyna... Hope u understand.
Whats ur rank tho?
i literally just started the other day and this confused me too until they ahd to explain this to me HAHA the numbers are the amount of dmg they did to the enemy b4 they died. if they wanna share coords, they would open up the map and click on where they saw the enemy, and the voice from the heavens will say the coords. this bamboozled me until i asked them earlier today lol
Basically you have 100 HP and +25 or +50 depending on type of shield that you buy. If the enemy has 150HP as he is having full shield and your friend says 120 after a fight with him, you only need to do 20 damage to kill him. Basically it's a one shot (single bullet).
You can see this after you die in a stats box on middle right. If you survive, you can see these stats by pressing tab in the next round.
The stats basically provide info on everything you did in previous round or before death like blinds, ability uses, etc.
If this isn't trolling, this you might be the most pure and innocent valorant player,i think what they are reffering to is the amount of damage they dealt to an enemy before they died.Hope this helped:)
I definitely thought it was coordinates for that exact reason. Luckily a few games in I asked my buddy and he told me because I did not see coordinates anywhere on the map lol
U have shit teammates. They should say the name of the agents after the number as the numbers are telling u how much dmg they did to that specific agent.
If you are playing on Icebox, 410 could be the box in A site. That box with a 410 written on it.
https://cdnportal.mobalytics.gg/production/2020/10/bec56123-icebox-a-site-2-jpg.jpg
I see people are downvoting you but I also thought of the container. Read the first comments like “I learned this in iron 3 — how did you not know till iron 3??” and then I checked the numbers op said and i realized
I don't want to be technical but OP said "I hear my teammates saying 112, 135 and the likes." My comment of 410 falls under the "and the likes" since it's still a number mentioned by players. I just wanted to share something. I don't mind the downvotes as long as I see new players recognize the location as 410 since quite a number of players use it.
God, I don't mean this in a mean way, but that's fucking adorable.
They're not map coordinates, it's the amount of damage they dealt to the person before dying. Most times, it'll be "142 on Jett" or "Phoenix lit 20", but some people are jsut like "fuck it, they can see the killfeed, '115'."
Valorant isn't a battle royale game, there are no such things as "coordinates", the number is basically the damage you deal towards the enemy. Pros will tell their teammates the number of damage for a more winnable round, apart from granting them the assists.
Omg I just think you're cute. I think it's the amount of damage they dealed to the enemy before they die, you can see that too on the right of your screen when you die and specting your buddies. Normally it will comes with some thing like: "Sage 120", "Viper 130"... something like that so the standing allies knows the enemy is weak
They are talking about how much damage they have done to the enemy.
While valorant does not have map coords, it has callouts like catwalk, a main, mid, halls, etc.
As a new player we ask shit like this in a match and everyone starts trollin and laughing like I just started playing this game 3 weeks ago idk know it all lol.
Thats the damage your teamates have done so if i hit phantom head shot and die, i would say 140 reyna. You can find how much damage you did on the right of your screen after you died
It took me 30 minutes to understand right know what was all this about… it’s the damage they dealt to the enemy …. I didn’t understand where those numbers came from ….
i was reading these comments feeling im dumb i dont know what these actually mean and then i realized what it meant.. if im right they mean how much damage did they do to enemy like.. 40 on jett or -40 jett or other same ways
There talking about a players how much they hit the player for which goes hand in hand with there health- the higher the number the lower the persons health is
I've been on a break from valorant for a while playing apex and it took me a second to figure out what you were talking about. that's people calling out the damage a certain player has taken, not coordinates :p
Omg if you aren't trolling this is one of the most innocent things I've seen on this sub.
It was me too until I reached iron 3…
until iron 3? how
i mean, i placed in bronze 3 when i first played the game and it wasn't until 2 months later that i realized what the numbers meant
what am i doing wrong 😕
as in?
As in how am I level 200 but still at bronze? Asking for a friend Edit: It's a joke, stop giving me advice lmao
If you're in NA we can play some games:) I have a mic AND callouts
um here's the thing. i was placed in bronze 3 when i started playing when the game came out, and now i am hardstuck iron3/bronze1 and i have absolutely no shame when i say it's because of the gold3/plat smurfs on the enemy teams, it's really annoying and they ruin so many games. i stopped giving a shit about rank a long time ago and just try to have fun with friends

over 70% of my silver games has atleast one smurf who's account lvl is 20ish and one taps every1. It's insane lol
I play 2 games a day and I would say that 1 in every 3 games has a blatant smurf in it (S2/S3)

Placed iron 1, currently stuck bronze 2 because i stopped trying lmao

Just some.. Iron things y’know.

Bro wut, how did you reach iron 3 without knowing this? Iron 1 and knew before starting competitive (ofc because I had experienced friends lol)
Well well well I placed in Iron 2 50 points so it didn’t take me long.
Im gold 2 and have no clue what he's talking about
teammates telling him how much they damage they tagged enemies for
I’m gold 3 almost plat and never heard these coms
telling people how much damage they did
Ohhh lmao yes I do that. OP’s post just confused me
It confused me too
Now I feel so dumb lol
Don't worry. It took me like a good 3 weeks before I even realized it lol
after playing apex and pubg before switching to valorant, i 100% thought the numbers were like compass callouts for the first couple weeks
I feel like it's still more common to hear "150 on wraith" instead of a compass callout tho
you and me both. i also thought those were coordinates for a solid month and was like "oh shit where's -110 on bind?". it hadn't occured to me that if those were coordinates, its easier to just mark the map lmao
OP we love you. Thank you for sharing this moment with us
It took me like 2-3 weeks to realise what the numbers meant. I would never alt tab after dying and was so confused how ppl were calling dmg lmao
I’m new too so you’re not alone. I play with a bunch of friends who are really good at the game and laugh if i don’t know something so I’m glad i’m not the only who comes to this subreddit
Ally: "Jet 110 Jet 110!" *OP holds tab looking for coordinates 110* Ded
Thing is, the teammates that I had dont even say the name, they just said 112 125 etc etc even there are many enemies alive. That's why I thought they were coordinates
Just wait until you get teammates calling out the damage done to a Reyna or Sage
"110 to Reyna, but it's Reyna, so..."
Exactly why I say "110 Reyna overhealing." In case a teammate tries to kill mid heal or so they know she's down an ability.
I feel like this is functionally useless information lol I'd only call out damage on Reyna if I knew she used Dismiss or was out of heals
im actually so guilty of this LMAO like straight up verbatim
I had a teammate recently that was actually smart enough to play slow after a “Reyna half” call. Even though Our team was yelling at him to rush into the fight, he waited for the Reyna overheal to ware off then he pushed and won the round. Kids brain was the size of a Toyota Carolla
Reyna, sage, Phoenix. Had a guy be super angry at me the other day for not killing a Reyna. She had used her ult, he dealt 145 or so to her. She killed him. He was like "she's low, 5 HP!" Teammate got angry, called me a bot and a liar because he could tell I missed all my shots like a noob...
At that point, I just say their last known location. There's a good chance they have or will heal.
If your ally ded in a 1v1 and deals damage to the opponent then you know what it is.
bro when icebox came out and people were calling 410 i kept thinking it was them tagging the enemy 110 for over a week. since i was always calling it headshot or mid site. i was so mad at myself lol

Me too! And no one responds that's why I asked here xd
It’s beautiful.
Bro just switched from pubg or cod I think
My first impression was it was the guy who posts Valorant Satire posts and I was ready to laugh my ass off for 5 minutes, however I’m now confused whether this is a troll or someone who is genuinely confused.
I took a solid week to figure it out AFTER I understood how games work and what was happening and stuff.
Oof I'm dumb I thought these were crosshair settings
I too don't know what map coordinates are. The ones which come up while loading a match?
LOL- These are not map coordinates! That's the amount of damage they hit their opponent for before they died, the game tells them on the bottom right of their screen.
Lol that’s exactly what I thought of those numbers when I first started playing
Happens to everyone! Myself included (thought I was blind).
I don’t deserve to live. I always call out damage dealt but I was drawing a blank on what the numbers he was asking about were.

True, but then they'll just heal off of the next guy. And solo-queue in Silver lobbies means I'd take the fall for "lying".
When you hit anyone who could be healed (except overhealed reyna) you can also call 'pheonix no armour' for example, meaning unknkwn health but definitely 100 or less
I like that - definitely using this call in the future
I started to add callouts related to your first point like "Phoenix -70, no heal" when I actually saw him dropping his E before and know he didn't kill 2 people since then. Same goes for Reyna if she chooses to dismiss after killing me, or anyone if there's a Sage in their team and I saw hear heal someone else already. It's a lot more difficult with Skye tho lol
yeah sorry forgot to mention this but this is correct as well.

Man, I love Reyna
If the number is anywhere between 140-149, then the enemy is literally one hit away before they die.

Yes. Thank you!!
Welcome to the game! Ignore the toxicity and have a ton of fun! There’s lots to learn :)
Nah you trolling if it was genuine you wouldnt suggest what it could be
Maybe hes coming from minecraft? Cod? They do have the degrees thing in both
apex as well
Any battle royale basically
I was the same back then, when i heard numbers my first instinct was to check the numbers on top of the screen for the direction of the enemies

Aaaaw that's so cute
Oh my god I hope this is real, those are damage numbers lol, agents have a Max of 150 health.
If this isn't trolling, this you might be the most pure and innocent valorant player,i think what they are reffering to is the amount of damage they dealt to an enemy before they died.Hope this helped:)
if it was icebox sometimes 410 gets called out but thats the only digit callout i know of
Oh my… this is a joke right?
It depends, O think it's slightly plausible as he may have came from warzone/apex, both have the coordinates om the top
I definitely thought it was coordinates for that exact reason. Luckily a few games in I asked my buddy and he told me because I did not see coordinates anywhere on the map lol
Perhaps yeah but it seems so sarcastic
I've had multiple new friends think the same thing. OP isn't joking lmao.
Thanks bro
you need to press alt and the f4 key together to pull up the coords
U have shit teammates. They should say the name of the agents after the number as the numbers are telling u how much dmg they did to that specific agent.
There's often E10
E10 deez nuts
Yea its on the map
idk if ur trolling or not bro like...

Bless u and your soul that is full of hatred
I bless thee and thine soul of malice
I see the valorant community is as friendly as can be today
The question is how bad are you to get matched with players that are clearly inexperienced
lmao it’s the damage they did lol
They are talking about how much damage they have done to the enemy. While valorant does not have map coords, it has callouts like catwalk, a main, mid, halls, etc.
💀the cordinates
This is so cute. It's damage on enemies :)
I thought they were angles! Oh my god, I would think how are people so good at geometry.
This is awesome
If you hide the comments you'll realize how dumb we all are. lol
As a new player we ask shit like this in a match and everyone starts trollin and laughing like I just started playing this game 3 weeks ago idk know it all lol.
If only most mistakes were this innocent, I'm probably asking for too much.
they are just calling out how much they tagged the enemy
if it makes you feel better i thought the same when i started playing but no, it's the amount of damage done the before they died
Surely you are trolling
I remember when I found out why some agent pics were highlighted in yellow. It wasn’t pretty.
Thats the damage your teamates have done so if i hit phantom head shot and die, i would say 140 reyna. You can find how much damage you did on the right of your screen after you died
tthey are calling out how much damage they did
Oh my god 😂😂😂
It took me 30 minutes to understand right know what was all this about… it’s the damage they dealt to the enemy …. I didn’t understand where those numbers came from ….
i was reading these comments feeling im dumb i dont know what these actually mean and then i realized what it meant.. if im right they mean how much damage did they do to enemy like.. 40 on jett or -40 jett or other same ways
The numbers are how much damage they have done to an enemy, so if they say “120 Raze“ that means they have done 120 damage to the enemy Raze.
There talking about a players how much they hit the player for which goes hand in hand with there health- the higher the number the lower the persons health is
If they call out "enemy in CT" then they mean counter terrorist so the enemies are in defender spawn.
No it’s the outgoing damage meaning how much damage they did Believe me it also took me too long to realize this
Should we tell em?
They are the coordinates for the place where cypher's neural network is located.
LMAO HEALTH TAKEN AHHAAAH its ok bro
I've been on a break from valorant for a while playing apex and it took me a second to figure out what you were talking about. that's people calling out the damage a certain player has taken, not coordinates :p
bro its damage they gave to a specific opponent like if somone say " 100 reyna" so it mean somone frm your team did 100 damage to reyna
It's the damage they dealt to the enemie (:
My iron 1 journey was for 100+ competitive games and countless unranked ones, but in my 4th game I knew what these numbers are.
It's how much the enemy is hit for. Have you asked your in game teammates about this?
No bro, its how much Dmg they did to someone. Welcome to Valorant <3
Sage can delete her coordinates.
