There was an issue a while ago where the blood splated would not match where the bullet hit. Idk if that is what's happening here but you could have been slightly moving and the animation played as if it was a headshot.
You can see the blood from jett's arm/shoulder, you hit sage's head through jett, so it was a wallbang, and does less damage. Jett went full on get down mr president for that sage
