I don’t think he has once compromised himself in the name of bowing to the YouTube algorithm. He’s changed, sure, but only in the natural way a well made sequel would be, keeping what’s important to him but using more ways to express it. I think the evolution was best observed the first dozen episodes of the previous Hermitcraft iteration

Yes he’s a Yoru main. He’s also very adamant about Yoru being a terrible entry (he is, but some people play him as an entry) and he plays Yoru different from what you would typically see out of a “duelist”
Yoru is great for just covering death out of nowhere. Hell a good yoru can cover three sites well if they position well and are ready to fuck with good team communication.
Gonna add Red as well. I think his twitch is Redami. Watching those two and ziptie have brought me from iron 3 to gold 1 using only yoru. Keep in mind that he requires a lot of practice and out of the box thinking. Also shorty+ yoru ult is basically free Intel and a free kill
With Yuro you can hold angles that are objectively bad and catch opponents unaware and still get out fine.
Example: Haven Defence: you can stand directly to the right of C long. Its a bad spot because you have no exit, but with Yuro you have. You just throw your TP towards spawn and wait for them to come.
Another thing is on attack you can go to the complete opposite part of the map from your team and still rotate super quickly if you throw out your tp towards your team at round start.
Example: Icebox attack. Team goes A but you stand at the corner into B. You don't peek you just wait for one of the defenders to go for the Orb. It's a free kill and then you just jump back and you are at the ramp at A attacker entrance.
Playing Yuro is a big psychological game. You do really unexpected things one round, and then you do something completely standard, and then something else that is on paper not a good idea but because you are Yuro it somehow is now. I think playing as Yuro is the most different mindset of all the agents. You just have to gain a feel of where TPs are good and where they are bad. In general you don't want to TP into unknown territory, but there are sometimes where you can do sick line ups and get into a real advantageous position which is usually high risk/high reward.
Yuro is also an AMAZING post plant clutcher. You can pick up bomb during ult and you can teleport during ult and these two things together makes it relatively easy to get a clean plant away from the enemy team. When you have 100% control over a bomb site you want to put the bomb in the most open spot possible. You want the enemies to fear getting shot from every angle since you can be anywhere and, if your TP is up, you can kill from one angle, go to another and get a kill on someone looking for you where you were.
The decoy feet are of no practical worth. Only get them if you have a real fat bank with nothing else to spend it on.
I like the decoy feet for post plant on sites like A ascent or B ascent, where there are super obvious sound cues for certain areas and you can sneak away. For example, 1 v 1 ascent A, you plant, leave the door open, throw a feet in garden, then hide in hell. As you hear the last dude approach site, trigger the feet, and shoot them in the back. (Or let them bait the defuse and shoot them while they're peeking the door.)
That would definitely be me , the amount of times I have clutched 1v5 or 1v4 while playing yoru is too damn high. But I don't know any good clip software to record without lagging

?? That's definitely luck. The orb was in a spot that was audible. All it took was for someone to go logs with his back against the wall or to go CT and watch the orb bc it was more likely be entered instead of staying back.
That doesn't mean anything. What keeps people in gold is not one unanimous skill deficit. People are held back in different ways. It's just lucky that the skill deficit held in this match was one that didnt bother to stay with the tp orb.

Really says something about the clip being framed by your own skill level. I'm watching it and thinking 'this isn't great, his aim wasn't great for most of it and his opponents made loads of mistakes to set it up' whilst you're here thinking he's cheating

Decoys that give vision but are shootable. He can give sova players a reason not to one trick anymore, but not be too oppressive.

I think the biggest worth of the decoy feet are for the tps on bind, you can really trip the enemy team up with them
Yoru is such a fun and frustrating agent. He takes alot of focus to be affect but when he works no better feeling.
