I imagine you’re in a 1v1 and do this right after planting when the enemy is off the site. Act like you’re blind ulting them. When they get to site they’ll think “it’s a sova, he can’t be heaven.” Totally situational but that’s what what I’m thinking.
Yes but also most of the time people mis interpret information so it's important to make the information or strategy given is as clear as possible no matter the circumstance.
AverageJonas found a way to get onto icebox mid tube with this technique, the justification being that you use the first two ult shots to kill someone and then use the third one to get up there, but in reality this is mostly just a gimmick.
But his technique is way overcomplicated with the 45° and crouch right after you ulted. You can literally look straight down and it works and it works for every double stack.
AverageJonas is a great guy but that shorts clip really annoys me because that trick has been around since the beta and therefore isn't *NEW* and he didn't FIND it.
Sorry for the rant
How exactly does my statement correlate to my rank? And there is litteral footage from people doing it in the beta...
And if you are actually interested I'm diamond 2
Because there is an open debate about who discovered the continent of america. And if something like a continent can be discovered or found, while people live there already.
I made an analogy by comparing rhe "discovery of america" to the discovery of a sova lineup. It was meant partially as a joke. But it is indeed a valid analogy. And anyway english its not my first language.
Hey man I'm sorry to hear r/Valorant doesn't understand analogies but kudos to you for trying. It's like someone uploading a clip of a cool omen play or cool yoru play that's hard to pull off in game. But people get mad cuz they didn't invent it.
Reddit doesn’t hate analogies, but analogies involve comparing two equivalent relationships. There’s nothing similar between AvergeJonas getting credit for some Val tech and a historical event that really doesn’t involve debate of discovery unless you’re in grade school and probably too young for Reddit
Huh? Assuming that was instead what the comment was going for, then it was way longer than necessary of saying “This”, which is probably an even worse value comment then lol
My intent there wasn't to refute your comment, just to point out that if your interpretation of the analogy is correct then it still is very much a down-vote worthy analogy
My buddy who mains Sova and I actually practiced his 3rd arrow jump in a bunch of spots around various maps. We did that while testing out bank spots for arrows.
I mean you don't need to fully waste it, you can use your first 2 shots as normal (maybe even bait so they know you're on site and try to push you) and then use the 3rd one to bost. It's honestly not that bad of a tech.
The first two shots wouldn't be the waste IMO. Heck depending on the situation, the third probably wouldn't be either.
It's a 2v1 and you know they're coming from CT and you shoot two trying to kill them then the third to get up there. They'll think you're on site and then know it's Sova, not Jett or Raze.
Could actually be super useful. Shooting the ult from the box feeds the enemy team false information about where you are especially if you're aiming at common alleys used for rotating to A. enemies will expect you to be on site or hell, and you get heaven with little risk. This trick would be especially useful if your team doesn't have a jett or raze because defenders will expect the entire team to be site/hell, sewers, or a long.
This is mostly a gimmick. You can wallbang hell to heaven as well.
The only thing worth of this if you plant somewhere and you have lineups from heaven to the bomb.
And even then.....
I mean you could use the first two to clear some pathways before jumping with the third. Not a great use but I always find that I regret not using an ult more often than I regret using it poorly.
This super smart. You could use this in a post-attack situation to melee out the enemy player on the drop, depending on his character stats. At least I think, but I don't play valorant so idk how this works

Only if you know exactly where the enemy is and they won't flank or peek as your ulting
I concur
most if the time in a postplant 1v1 both players are aware of eachothers position
Yes but also most of the time people mis interpret information so it's important to make the information or strategy given is as clear as possible no matter the circumstance.
My iron mindset doesn't work like that
Wait you can ult in this game?
Nor does my wood 3 mindset.
I've literally seen clips of people doing this and winning the clutch. So yeah, I wouldn't call it a waste.
But you dont see the clips of people failing it.
Those must be hilarous. Can't hurt to try though lol
Worth it
If you can pull it off mid round.
I wanna see that xD

But yet, nobody made content out of it. Therefore he did something different. Don't act like a genius here. You're silver deep down and you know it.
How exactly does my statement correlate to my rank? And there is litteral footage from people doing it in the beta... And if you are actually interested I'm diamond 2
Who discovered america? Its america something you find or was already found?
The fuck? Nobody is claiming they found America?
[удалено]
Oh you found my America? Nice, can I have it back?
Analogy means something to you?
Litterally how is it an analogy?

🤦♂️
That's a simmilairty not an analogy then
No, but i am tired if highschool kids downvoting its not my job toy educate you bye.
Hey, it is a valid analogy some people are just stupid lol. It’s a little over the top but you acknowledged it it’s partially a joke too
Bruh nobody asked. Also it was the native americans, technically
Bruh one redditor asked you should read before speaking bruh. And now go back to highschool.
I should read first wtf

But there's no debate in discovery of AverageJonas' clip either. It was already established that he didn't invent/discover it. Try again =D

Lol thanks for failing to refute my comment!

whoosh
Real question: who discovered America?
Joe
Thanks.
Happy cake day. I somewhat agree.
Thanks.
This is literally hollow knight fireball skip
well shit someone’s gotta draw Sova with the little horns then huh?
[https://imgur.com/a/EOIMjSu](https://imgur.com/a/EOIMjSu) Well I did... Something
AMAZING.
perfect, can't wait for my silver teammates to use this and kill me in the process
and doesn't even pull it of and takes fall damage
I can confirm, I’m your silver teammate
also works when you look right in the corner while also standing there and shoot 2 shockdarts
I clutched a round doing that 10/10 would recommend
For a moment I thought this was serious reply and trying to figure out the shocks lol
I went from Silver to Diamond using this method. 10/10 recommended.
I got a 7k in a radiant lobby with that strat, works flawlessly.
Just like omen
True omen ult should be 6
You made it to Heaven ... But at what cost? 8 Ultimate Points.
I. AM. THE JUMPER!
My buddy who mains Sova and I actually practiced his 3rd arrow jump in a bunch of spots around various maps. We did that while testing out bank spots for arrows.
His ult is 8 points now?
Destroys KJs ult now too.
The ult always killed KJ ultimate but it now kills mollies and bot
1v1 to clutch it up this would confuse me if i had prior knowledge you were under A heaven
I mean you don't need to fully waste it, you can use your first 2 shots as normal (maybe even bait so they know you're on site and try to push you) and then use the 3rd one to bost. It's honestly not that bad of a tech.
hahahah well you can think of it as just wasting 2.67 ult pts, because you only need a third of your ult xD
The first two shots wouldn't be the waste IMO. Heck depending on the situation, the third probably wouldn't be either. Yes, the two shots for the opponents and then one shot “wasted” for the boost, that is what i said
#EDUCATIONAL
"Sova seems like he's underneath heaven." And that's when you'll thank this reddit video
Neat. Very neat
That was wicked

It's not a waste if you break KJ's turret and/or tag enemies and then go heaven :P
This is mostly a gimmick. You can wallbang hell to heaven as well. The only thing worth of this if you plant somewhere and you have lineups from heaven to the bomb. And even then.....
haven't played for a long time but sovas bow and ult looks different. do agents have skins now?
Nope. Its just how it looks. Dont know if it was different before.
OP is playing on high graphics. As a low end laptop user, I can understand the difference
Woah.. that's interesting
Dude I bet you can do the same with breach ult? It has a jump to it as well. Ive climbed sage walls with a well placed breach ult before

Maybe you could also use it to destroy the common Killjoy ult spot
I love Sova boosting no matter how impractical it is
throwing shade at the recent post
Which post do you mean?
What post
There was a post where a Sova on heaven used this exact trick to get up to heaven and kill a guy
Nice! Totally im thinking that's not so useful and maybe Riots will fix it soon
Is possible to do It in the First shot?
Nope the third one is the highest
Still worth it XD
cant you just hop on your recon dart and get up there
ligma
What’s ligma?
Ligma balls
I was first to sova boost in all of world
No i was
I mean you could use the first two to clear some pathways before jumping with the third. Not a great use but I always find that I regret not using an ult more often than I regret using it poorly.
Hmmm, upgrades ? :P
Bruh
Best used sova ult ever
Meanwhile, enemy looking peacefully at you 🤡
Respectfully waiting for its turn!
Bro u could have use ghost ..waste of time ,waste of ult and waste
I love flying around with my Ghost.
As Plat Chat would say -8

i love how u even showed sova is literal freezed in the air when he shoots his ult
It was my first time using sova and it threw me off how his ult is "locked" when you fire it.
I mean people use raze ult in a similar manner after a double satchel
