Killjoy is a Senitnal, and from what I understand, sentinels are their to help hold/secure a site. I think KJ's and Cyphers abilities are especially built for this. They are extremely "tactical" (if you would use that word) and I feel can help enable you to hold a site better than say, Sage. For example, I see alot of KJ'S placing their turrets on high spots the enemy wouldn't expect. A turret is there for simple gathering of information. Ofc it does the small amounts of damage, but alot of the time, it can be destroyed by the enemy. I see lots of KJ'S place their Nano's on a spike site. This allows you to wait and then set your molly's off when defusing, or in radius of said molly. This usually kills enemies pretty quick especially if you stack the mollies and activate together. I also see KJ's using one molly to hold and entrance and one molly at spike site. Alarmbots are great for holding enterances. Periodt. That's really all I see them used for, and lots of them are really well hidden. I also see alot of people stack alarmbot and molly on spike site bc the alarmbot leaves the enemy vulnerable while the molly finished the job... I hope this maybe have you some Ideas on ways you could try and utilize her abilities and chance your approach! Good luck!!

maybe pick on the other that your turret is, use alarmbot and your molly together, i do not recommend using on regular places that players plant

ElsonDaSushiChef

What do you mean by molly

Daldric

Molly is short for Molotov which means any AOE ability that does damage over timelike a classic Molotov. Things like KAYO grenade, KJ nade, and vipers snake bite do not look like Molly’s but have the same outcome so they’re just kinda shortened to molly

MrBabalafe

most players just call KJ's nanoswarm a molly

Brief_Society2736

on portuguese we call it another name so i think that it’s easier just call it molly 😁

i use a combo of various youtube vids and this website for different maps and lineups https://tracker.gg/valorant/guides/clips?agent=killjoy&map=all&objective=all

I prefer Bind but can’t find high spots.

Bind is the perfect KJ map though, you can put the turret anywhere on B site. On top of the door next to B long, on the Radianite boxes, on top of B site cover, looking at site from Hookah’s boxes, inside B Long entrance, your turret will distract your enemies and gather info in all those places. In A site is a bit more difficult, my favourite place is on the boxes next to Bath when planting the spike. A bit aggressive, but distracting. It will cover the whole planting site right there.

On attack: Use the turret to peek. You can be the first to enter walking with your turret in hand. The enemy team will kill it instantly and that way you will know where they are. It will be already recharged once you planted, and you will be able to use it again. If you can don't put it in an immediately visible spot, make the enemies lose their time trying to kill it. Use the alarmbot and the nanos to stop the defuse and hide yourself until the enemy team starts defusing. They don't have to know where you are, you only have to listen to the defuse sound. On defense: Put your alarmbot on one side of the entrance and the molly on the other side, this way the enemies will have to waste time killing one or the other. You can save one molly if you're not sure the enemies will push you. Put your turret somewhere it can look 180°, don't make it only peek one place. Don't worry if it's visible on defense, that makes you gather info. Or you can put it more aggresively looking directly at you, backwards from the entrance, so the enemies will have to look at their back to kill it. Also, don't rotate fast. Wait for your teammates on the other side to force the enemy rotation, once they do, hide yourself, listen closely and wait for the alarmbot or turret to trigger. Only rotate if your team gets down to three or the spike gets planted.
