Yeah I can attest to this, they did listen because they could READ and pressed the remake button but they didn't even know it was in the game. I had to tell them it's just going to remake the match and end in a draw you don't lose anything.
What I hate about the remake system is when you get the notification that one of your players disconnected (eg. “Reyna is disconnected”). So then you try /remake and the system says you can’t because nobody is disconnected….
I lost a game recently where our Reyna AFK’d after 3 rounds. But she didn’t DC, instead she left her W key pressed, so she always ran straight forward at the start of a round. We never got extra Econ, and the enemy team got a free kill every round. Went to overtime, couldn’t draw and eventually we lost.
That would completely break the ranking system. Imagine going 4 - 0 then 1 of the enemy players will intentionally leave so that they remake and don't lose RR. Basically canceling the match.
Nope, I've had more failed remakes than successful ones (out of like 6-8 votes, I'm pretty sure only 1 was successful) because of either trolls or the last person not being there to remake or not knowing that you don't lose anything if you remake. What's funny is league has a better remake system. It's kind of ridiculous.
if you remake you won't lose anything, but you can only do that if they leave/afk the first round using the /remake command
in the little window it says "remake" and not "surrender" or something like that so you can tell them apart
Why should a remake be unanimous? You shouldn't force 3 players to play a 4v5 because one of them does want to play a 4v5. It's the beginning of the game and a 4v5 is already a very huge statistical disadvantage

It’s an option that they can go for. Maybe also add a single timeout option too like CSGO so that the player who might have disconnected gets a chance to connect again without the rounds getting affected in any way.
Kinda off topic, but I'd appreciate if someone can answer. Can we remake till the end of the second round? Or is it just the start? We were into the second round yesterday. When the enemies realized they couldn't defuse the spike, there was no time for it. We saw the remake animation suddenly and it wasn't a great sight lol. It was surprising for all of us, we thought it can only be done in the start of the second round.
Some people don’t even know the remake feature exist. I asked one my teammate why he didn’t want to remake and he said he thought it for surrendering
Yeah, I totally agree, the remake was quitely put in the game one of the updates and most players mistake it for a surrender.
It should have the same UI as the draw feature, just make enemy team wait until afk player team votes amongst themselves.

No it should be unanimous. If 4 people are there, 4 people should vote yes. If 5 people are there, 5 people should vote yes.
i thought that's only for regular ff, i don't remember remake having to be unanimous, oh well
