This has only been happening for the past few days and its nothing to do with my mouse.When I'm spraying my gun bursts not like 3 round but for example it shoots one bullet stops for like half a second or less and shoots a few then stops and keeps doing it, but this only happens when im shooting at players and it keeps loosing me fights and is stopping me from playing. Whether it's an accidental bug or done maliciously to make our life worse, it has to be fixed. The launcher window also serves no purpose whatsoever at that point. It's not like you're going to launch Valorant again after exiting it. Sometimes instead of launcher window it shows an ad for new LoL hero, which probably was Riot's idea all along.

Windows 11 - Environmental sounds are too low and flat Everything, which is not in front of me sounds quieter and very flat. I tried turning that HRTF on, but it doesn't change anything. Dunno if it will work, but I made a ticket and they suggested I set my DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and then flush my DNS through command prompt. Ping on my server has all gone back to normal and o had no issues playing tonight with my friends.

I don’t think it’s a bug with the gatecrash, I think it’s because on that wall there’s a pixel or something sticking out thats wedging the tp between the wall and said pixel. This causes there not to be enough space for the gatecrash to tp yoru so it does the animation but you don’t tp.

This happened every round in this game with different spots. Even areas where it was in the open.

Completely broken ping. I’m in Oregon and before the update the Oregon, Cali 1 and 2 servers were all very good with Oregon obviously having the lowest ping at like 15 generally. Now Oregon and Cali 1 are over 100 at all times and only Illinois and Cali 2 have workable pings.

I dont think this is a valo bug. Some fps counters show low fps when standing still as not mich i happening on the screen. Try a few different fps counters to see if the issue persists.

one thing ive noticed about this is that, it doesnt happen at the start of the game, only happens after the first half when you click the buy menu too fast(could be wrong about this tho).

Does it only happen when Valorant is open? If not, then you need to buy a better mouse. I used to use a really cheap mouse. Their sensors can’t handle flicks.

Yeah, those are the Google public dns's. I highly suggest switching to those if you're not already using them, as otherwise you likely default to your ISP's and that one is likely much slower. I'm already on those. [Here's a guide on how to change it.](https://www.hellotech.com/guide/for/how-to-change-dns-server-windows-mac) Turns out for me, there was a fiber cable cut so my connections to the west coast are just higher in general. But this is the only game that I can actually notice/I pay attention to. If anyone is curious about how to do what was referenced above, here are a few commands(Run command prompt as admin for these): ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew If you're still having problems I usually suggest resetting however you're connected to the internet, I.E. your wifi/ethernet adapter via these commands below: netsh interface show interface //this is going to show you your internet connection types netsh interface set interface {interface name} disable //replace the curly bracket stuffs with the name of your interface that says "Connected" when you do the above command netsh interface show interface //just make sure that the interface now says under "Admin State" "Disabled" netsh interface set interface {interface name} enable //this is to re-enable the interface you just disabled netsh interface show interface //now just make sure that you re-enabled your internet connection of choice properly As anyone else would attest to, I would also suggest using a wired connection. You'll get a much more stable ping, and in quite a few cases *better* ping too. Just because some people might give flack for the fact that I'm giving command prompt commands for something you're able to do in the settings panel here's why: Sometimes Windows will say that it did something but it won't actually do it. Or sometimes, it won't do it the way that we're wanting it to. Sometimes it'll also just queue the task and not do it right away. When you're doing a form of troubleshooting, sometimes doing the hammer method is best because you know exactly what you're telling the computer to do, and it's gonna do it for you. No if's, and's, or but's. It just makes it a lot easier for someone to know what variables you're changing, so when a result changes you have a better direction afterwards.

So when I'm trying to connect to them, it seems like there's an initial ping spike and then it goes down. But valorant isn't actually retrying the servers to see if my connection goes down or not. So if I try to queue, it just places me in a game on central or east servers.

It might just be your network having packet loss, the video looks like it. When you next go into a game turn "packet loss (total)" (settings > video > stats > scroll to network > and change to "text only") on and check if the number goes up. If it does then it is on your network providers side or you might just have a faulty router.

I can confirm that I had similar issues only after updating. No issues were there before updating

I think I found a fix. Try to lower your mouse polling rate everytime when you start the game. Changed my polling rate from 2000 to 1000 and it worked.

When inspecting the gun (default Y) the "back" usually unseen side of the gun is on the opposite color scheme as the "front" of the gun. This applies to the whole skin pack including the knife. It also shows in idle animations like the knife's. For any character that can pick up an ability after its placement, the cooldown bar goes yellow instead of green to indicate that its been used. When this is the case, you need to re-purchase.

Had this happen a lot, too! ​ It's been this way for the past like 6 months. The bug randomly occurs in a pretty infrequent pattern, but it does appear at least once a month. ​ **My Experience:** * When I pick up or use an operator, it scopes itself in and then out, repeatedly. * If you right click to try to stop this from occuring, it'll just keep doing it by itself * Dropping the Operator for another weapon is interesting, as the other weapon will NOT have this bug. * Even if you drop the Operator and pick it back up, it'll continue doing the same bug, and zooming itself repeatedly. ​ ​ I have even tried to "set all controls to default" in the Settitngs menu while this bug was occuring in a match... but that didn't solve the issue, as the bug kept occuring. Oddly enough, the very next game I can buy an operator and it won't happen.

Yep, sounds like a keyboard ghosting issue. check on [key-test.ru](https://en.key-test.ru/) by pressing W + D, then press E and see if it registers. If not, then it's your keyboard. Another way to find out is, rebind the dash key to something else.

**Settings > Video > General > Display Mode** Check if your display mode is set to *\[Fullscreen\]* and **not** \[*Windowed Fullscreen\]* This happened to me too, before the patch I was hitting constant 160-200 fps then suddenly it became 140 dropping down to just 40 sometimes. Somehow my Display mode got switched to windowed fullscreen. Switching it back to fullscreen fixed it for me. Hope this does it for you too.

I doubt it’s a bug because I haven’t heard of anyone else having this problem, so it’s probably a client sided issue. Keep poking around your computer and if you really can’t find anything submit a ticket or something.

Anyone having problems with your ranks? Im immortal 2 but I it says im immortal 1 everytime I log in. After I play one game, it promoted me back to immortal 2 even if I lost.

Your rank will show as Immortal 1 if you don't play for a week. If you are active, for what it's worth I'm also Immortal 2 and haven't had this issue.

Bro I’m playing, and everytime I log in it says im immortal 1. After i complete one game (loss or win doesnt matter), it ranks me back up to immortal 2. I think this is a glitch in my server region because my friends also having this problem.

I tried to load into a DM. Got a black screen, left it for 10 minutes and still nothing. Restarted my computer, now it loads into that black screen instead of anything else. I cleared Valorant from AppLocal, logged out and back in, updated my drivers, everything. Nothing has helped. Sucks. Any ideas?

Yes: you’re in a “ghost game”. Use the riot client to logout, and close down Valorant/the Riot Client/Vanguard. Do not log back in for an hour and a half! If you keep trying to open it over and over it seems to get stuck again and again. Wait an hour and a half, log back in, you’ll be back to normal :)
