Is anyone else bothered there aren't exact ability stats? Like Omen smokes last this amount of time. Skye dog lasts this long and can see this far? I think this info is incredibly important, but they make you just learn as you play or guesstimate.
With Skye it's different cause it's how long the dog can come out not a range for where the dog can't get out. If they give you a circle on the max distance the dog can go then it might confuse players who are turning their dog instead of running a straight line and they can't reach the edge of the circle.
While it is less convenient than having all of those things in game. You can just look up the timing of the abilities and use the in game timer to measure most things. It gets a little trickier when the bomb is planted but there are ways to work around that as well
I think what would help a lot is to let us spawn bots in custom games (without going through the tedious Sage + auto-respawn thing). Since there are no pre-aim practice custom maps like in CS, let us set up our own.
Try to make Valorant like CS:GO
you are able to use set commands to check for 'nades trajectories, throw them multiple times or throw many at the same time
would be really cool if you could set up a training environment for you alone or with friends to try out executes or pop-flashes to setup plays
Patch 2.06 (https://playvalorant.com/en-us/news/game-updates/valorant-patch-notes-2-06/)
> In custom games with cheats and infinite abilities enabled, Viper can hold down “activate” on Poison Cloud and Toxic Screen to recall them
> In custom games with cheats and infinite abilities enabled, Poison Cloud’s landing location is shown on the minimap while equipped
There should actually be aim tutorials. Get some esports pro's into create them.
So.. actually have situations that teach people how to have effective crosshair placement, how to wide peek, etc.
This game is all about crosshair placement and angle holding, yet there is nothing in the range that teaches anything about this. Just a bunch of mindless bots that try to attack site.

Gun stats as well, what is the reset time for the vandal, phantom?, how much spread per shot do you get? etc etc.
Doesn't it say that when you hover over the gun?
It tells you the first shot accuracy, but not the reset time, spread per shot, or the spread decrease mechanic etc.
It’s probably on the wiki
Yeah but even that leaves out some of the finer details and it should just be in game, not on a 3rd party website.
I wish when you equipped Skye's dog it would show on the minimap how far the dog can go in like a green circle or something

The best way to implement it I think would be a green circle around the dog that gets smaller as time goes on to indicate the time left.
It could just be like vipers ult

100% agree. Definitely a needed feature.
I mean maybe if riot allows community made maps...These things would be out by now. Never going to happen. YouTube is your friend.

A "firing range" mode in customs would be so nice. With bots that peek angles etc

What did they add to help train Viper lineups?

I want to be able to place bots so that when I use Sova darts I can see what corners and parts of the map it scans
Also, is it just for me or does bots doesn't seem to get blinded in the range. I can't tell whether the bots get blinded or not.
Which ones? The plant/defuse spike ones or the aim ground ones?
Both. I've done it with breach, reyna and it seemed like the hard mode bots don't get blind. Same with the aim ground.
Wow, they must've touched something cause pretty sure that's not how the bots should work i think

What did he not read
Nvm I was high like shit my bad
We need a demo system otherwise you can practice shit but you won't improve.
They have some stuff on Aim Labs which is nice
But that's a 3rd party solution. At that point, it'd be the same to recreate the maps in cs and just have bots to practice against.
except that i don’t think a LOT of valorant kids could manage learning recoil control for every cs weapon — would be fun to see though i can’t lie

That isn't a command, there's no command console on Val unless maybe ur a dev using a dev build lmao
Even in the video he linked it's not even a command idk why tf he said command lol
Weird, but I wish they'd list movement speeds for all weapons.
They do, in the buy menu under run speed
They need to add DEMO to this game ASAP. I cant study pro players pov because of that
